I Got this Sub because the previous owner of my truck pulled out the Bose system, and put in an aftermarket setup, but didn't leave the sub/amp in it. This sub gives the perfect amount of bass, this doesn't put out the bass that you feel every bass note, but with the right not you can feel it (I did sit in the back seat and crank it just to "feel" the difference and you can feel it a bit when your sitting over the sub) I was also relieved when I can get good loud bass inside my cab but not feel like one of "those" guys that feel you need to hear their music over yours when sitting at a stop light. I'm very glad I got this sub!

Put this in the hatch area of my Hyundai Accent; I bought an inexpensive 300 watt amp to run this sub; and all I can say is "WOW". I wasn't looking for earth shaking bass, just a good low end to supplement the door speakers (which I had replaced earlier). This thing is really well made, and for the price you can't go wrong.
I didn't even bother bolting it down, it just sits in the hatch area and does it's thing. It also sounds great, and is pretty heavy, but I wanted an integrated sub/enclosure package that was designed as a unit as this one was.
If you are even thinking about a sub-woofer, give this one serious consideration. You'll be glad you did.

This was exactly what I was looking for. It's really hard to know if a certain product is going to work for you especially something like this. The main reasons I decided to go with this was the size, it's all enclosed (plug and play, and the price. The fact that it was a Pioneer was nice too, I have a Pioneer head unit and door speakers to go along with it. I wanted something that would fit under the seat of the second row in my Expedition, I didn't want anything in the cargo area. It fits snugly there. I knew this wasn't a traditional sub woofer set-up, I wasn't looking for that either. I just needed some bass to round out my system, I wanted bass for me not everyone else outside. I paired it with a 2-channel bridgeable amp from Pyle, bridged it puts out 1400 watts. That's all I needed. This does a great job, I didn't expect it to perform so well. It does all that I wanted, hits just hard enough and rattles low enough. If I had to pick a poor area it would have to be on the lack of deep lows, remember this isn't a full sized box so it's not going to be that low. I really have no complaints, it was exactly what I was looking for. It is a great middle of the road set up for limited spaces, tight budget and for people who want some to a little more bass in their vehicle.

love it! more than enough bass for my s2000! It's powered by a cheapo Jensen amp and its more than enough to power this thing. I'm impressed.

Got it installed it broke it in gently and a week after I broke it in it blew it have been able to handle the amp it has a 750 watt max
and I didnt even have it turned up and it started smoking

Bought this to put in the rear cockpit under seat storage on my 27 foot boat and though this space is really a little small for the sub it does a really nice job of rounding out the sound on the boat especially if I have the seat off and let the sub go. I have it powered by the Boss Audio 1100 monoblock riot amp and it matches perfectly giving it plenty of power. The sub isn't going to win any competitions but it adds the much needed bass response my boat system was lacking. The cabinet fit the cockpit seat with room to spare and the woofer itself can move some air. My nephew was suitably happy as he uses my boat and it definitely helps bring out the bass on the music he listens to.

Fit perfect under the right side rear seat of my 2005 Nissan frontier crew cab n sounds really good. I recommend it.

Over a year of use with no problems! This fits nicely under the rear seat in my Tundra. The bass sound is good with no distortion...it is a great addition to my stock system

If you're searching for deep bass, not the boomy type of bass, but the deep, low bass like a bass drum produces, without having to "give-up" your entire trunk, this self contained speaker with its' compact enclosure is perfect. This speaker produces bass all the way down to 20Hz amd completely fills in the low end of your music. The beauty of this set-up is its compact size can be used practically anywhere and if you ever sell the vehicle, you can remove it relatively easily too. Granted, even though this speaker produces deep bass, don't expect Earth Pounding bass like two 15" woofers would produce, but rather a bass sound that completes a well put together sound system enabling the listener to hear all the way down to the deepest bass sounds. Still a very nice woofer considering the size.

This is good subwoofer, nice fit behind the seat in single cabin pick up. I recommend it if you want good quality sound and save space.

This sub hits surprisingly hard for its size. Paired with a pioneer amp(800w max, 200w rms) this sub will make my mirrors vibrate. If you don't neccessarily want bass that is going to break your windows, but want one that can fit under the seat and still give a good bump.

This is a great speaker for my toyota tundra. It fit perfectly under the back seat and pleasantly surprised me with the amount of base it added to my non stock system.
If anyone is looking to get a speaker for a small space that has a pretty good thump to enhance your audio system, then this is the speaker. If you're looking for a speaker to shake someone's home or rattle your trunk, then this may not be the speaker system for you.

I haven't hooked it up yet, but I bought this for an 85 Chevy El Camino to be bridged mono and pushed by a Rockford Fosgate P-250.2. This car has no trunk, it has a smugglers box behind the seats. Now that I see how nicely this fits I'm going to run this one bridged then coming off of one side. I may end up getting another.

Few comments:
1) Wonderful compact subwoofer.. you would never believe that this subwoofer can punch out freaking good bass.
2) Sharp & punchy.. Damn worth the money.
3) Nicely sitting inside my boot without taking much space unlike those subwoofer that take up one corner from boot ground to the top of your boot while this you still can put things on top of it.
For those who are looking at not so big subwoofer for their car can consider this! Highly recommended!

I needed something that fit the enclosures measurements of this subwoofer box and when I ran into this one I knew this would be perfect.
The subwoofer box has two raised legs that let you position the box with the subwoofer facing downward, helping to minimize any accidents to the Subwoofer and making the system a "set it and forget it" install. I had previously been impressed by the pioneer shallow mount subs when I tested one out at a local auto sound store, and although the subwoofer in the TS-SWX251 was a different model than the one I tested, I had a pretty good idea of what it would sound like.
The measurements are perfect for the back area of my 2011 Honda Insight. I was able to remove the foam housing around the spare tire compartment and plant this thing in its place without any modification to the area. This thing thumps when you need it to and really helps bring in the lows that regular speakers can't produce, and because the subwoofer faces downward, you don't have to worry about damaging anything! My wife loves the fact that there is no huge box taking up any space, the system is out of sight, we don't have to worry about damaging the subwoofer with any blunt objects, and it paired nicely with the rest of my system.

This is a great little subwoofer. For the size, it pumps out pretty strong beats. I have a standard cab 2006 F150 and it sits perfectly behind the seats. I have it located behind the drivers seat and I can definitely feel the bass when I have it turned up. Its not gonna wake the neighbors, although I have been told people can hear from inside of their house when I'm sitting outside. For the price, this is exactly what I was expecting.

First off this is not going to win any loudness competitions. I am an adult who listens to all types of music. I just wanted a little more thump in something that didn't take away my back seat in my 2008 Nissan Frontier crew cab. This sub is perfect for what I wanted to do. I can feel in in my back when it hits. I would buy this sub again and again. I use a cheap old 2 channel 400 watt amp I had lying around. I can't imagine how much better I would be with some real power. I paid less than $100 shipped to the house.

I just installed this. Let me tell you that I'm impressed. Its very small but don't let that fool you. It really rounds out the deep sounds for me. It is perfect for my application as I have it in the back of a full sized suv. It feels very sturdy and I would have no problem stacking groceries, etc items on it. If you go to the pioneer website it give better photos of this then the stock amazon photos. Anywho.... to the best part. It sounds great, I have it running through an ancient RF punch amp and it hits HARD. Granted its an older RF amp and they are SERIOUSLY underrated. Its a sealed enclosure, so it"s a quick, solid hard hitting bass, rather than a really deep ultra low tone bass. It does need to break in and i feel that it will only get better after break in. I feel that for the price, its a VERY good value if you are tight on space and want a small sub that can really add to a punchy low end that can really round out a system. Now granted I know this is not a high end unit but i feel this should really be considered for anyone who wants more low end, and does not want to spend alot of money, but want the backing of a major manufacturer. Like i said, this is my first review ... and I really like how it sounds. It really rounds out my system.

One of the biggest challenges with adding a subwoofer to any minivan is placement. Traditional subwoofer enclosures are large and cumbersome and get in the way of using cargo space for anything but a place to keep the subwoofer. With this enclosure it fits right between the front seats facing downward. Wiring is easier because all of the wiring is short runs to and from the dash rather than long runs to the rear of the vehicle. The performance of this subwoofer at low volumes is also fantastic! The bass is crisp and clear and deep.

This thing sucks. I put it on a Kenwood KAC-7205 1000 watt amp and it blew the sub as soon as i turned it on. Pionner sucks. Dont get this thing.

put this in the back of my 98 chevy and it fits good under the back seat. The design helps protect it from my kids and their clumsy feet.. plus the sound is awesome, people think i'm running a pair of 10's instead of just one...may pull my jack out and put it in the tool box so i can see what 2 will sound like

The sub fits perfectly behind the seat of my 2005 Tacoma after removal of one of the two small jump seats. The sound is great and it's well built.
