The Wii is so much fun. The adults in the family love it as much as the kids. The sport pack is great. It has all of the sports you would want to play. Baseball, tennis, golf, bowling, boxing. They are all so much fun to play. You can even make a mini Wii that looks like you. I would recommend the Wii to everyone.

The game is easy to set up. Tons of family fun. The best part is that you are up and moving while playing.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my adult daughter and we played it for hours on Christmas day. She plays it in every spare moment. I am thinking about purchasing one for myself.

I bought this for my husband after playing at a friends house at Thanksgiving. We've had a great time with the system and can't wait for a new game.

Even though I haven't used the Nunchuk Controller that much, when I did, it was fun. My son-in-law and I did the boxing on the Wii Sport and I won, so naturally I thought it was fun. I can't speak for him.

This is the best family interactive game. We celebrated our Christmas last night with all family members participating and the game cost $$ but the time, fun. excitement and memories were PRICELESS.

The Wii System comes with only on Nunchuk Controller. If you are planning on having more than one player, you may want to consider purchasing extra Nunchucks.

After having played games like Warioware and Sonic and just about everything else already on the Wii, I went ahead and purchased one and haven't been disappointed thus far. The first game I bought was Legend of Zelda, and I'm still playing it after 20+ hours of gameplay. In addition, I've made a point of taking advantage of all the games that Nintendo sells through its online service for download. Yes, you heard it right: Nintendo, Genesis, SNES, N64 and now even Neo-Geo ... all of these games can be downloaded to the Wii and played (price varies, of course). For those of us who grew up with video games, it's an amazing chance to replay old favorites and pick up ones we never had a chance to play.
As for the Wii games, the style and content vary wildly. Just about anyone can find something they like, and the innovative motion controls can be put to great use (and sometimes not-so-great use, so it's a good idea to check the reviews before buying a game). More new games are coming out now, and some of the ports from previous systems--especially PS2--are still fun to play if you haven't had a chance to pick them up previously. The graphics will never be as good as those on the Xbox360 or PS3, but that's not a huge hang-up for most.
The only thing this system is missing now is a hardcore game. Xbox 260 has Halo 3 and Bioshock, and PS3 has Resistance. Wii came close with Metroid, but it's just not enough. I see a lot of opportunity with Wii for gritty first-person shooters, strategy games like Rome: Total War or even Command and Conquer, and other games like Star Wars Battlefront. Once Wii begins to take advantage of these areas, then it will have everything.

I consider myself a semi-hardcore gamer and own all the major consoles and play PC games as well. I bought a Wii soon after it came out but to be honest, although it's got some fun games (and my two-year-old loves the crude GT Pro game), overall it has limited appeal to serious gamers. If you go nuts over "cute" titles like Wii Fit and Mario, you won't be disappointed by the Wii. I use it occasionally, because I find the games not cool enough for 2008. (No, I'm not selling mine...)

The Wii Nunchuk is a great addition to the Wii system. It makes a lot of the games easier to play. My husband and I as well as our kids really like having them.

I am very pleased with the Wii as it provides realistic game fun for the whole family.
It was the last thing my beautiful wife of 43 years ask me to order for the grandkids before she suddenly passed away.

I love this game. We have actually lost weight playing a video game, how awesome is that. Some of the games are a little pricey but you can also find cheap ones. I think it is better than the other video games you just sit there with.

Boring it may be, but to have this standard Nunchuck means that you and your friends can enjoy the games without being distracted by different locations of buttons, etc.So, the wire can be a problem; but it does stop the Nunchuck from being lost/separated, and saves on another set of batteries.And, being the standard item, you can get all sorts of cool skins for it.Just wonder why the Wiimote requires a big rubber protective buffer, and this has nothing?

This is a Christmas gift for our grandson, it has not yet been opened. But from previous experience we know it is fun for the whole family (three generations including 82 year old grandpa!) and are looking forward to it!

I say that cuz its the most innovative and to some extent, the most fun.
You cant play multiplayer with the same way as the Wii. Making it a party favorite.
The Wii takes gaming to the next level with the infamous Wiimotes. Its amazingly fun and everyone will want to play.
I say that this is my favorite system and the best system overall. Xbox360 has the slightly better graphics, PS3 has the overall better games, Wii has the fun and different factor of playing with a whole bunch of friends.

Sunday morning I camped out at Target and got the 15th (out of 15) Wiis. I was so pumped and i got home and hooked it up. It was so sweat. Wii sports is suprisingly a very fun game! Bowling and tennis are the best, but all the games are good. Heres some pros and cons.
Pros:
-Motion controller is the greatest thing ever
-cheap and comes with a good game
-a couple solid release titles like madden and zelda
-suprisingly small and compact hardware
-doesn't overheat (xbox 360!)
-game prices aren't bumped up $10
-ther's a feature where you can make a "Mii" (no typo) that you can use in some games, one being wii sports. you can make 100+. it's pretty cool.
-games are revolutionary on wii because of innovative controller.
Cons:
-Graphics are good, but no where close to ps3 and xbox 360
-controller is very occasionally oversensitive
-can't do much else besides games, but the games are dang sweat so it doesn't matter. besides, this is a 'game console'
-very hard to find, right now (we arrived at 4 AM)
Overall the best on the market because besides graphics and bluray (in ps3's case), there's not anything new on the 360 and ps3 that's worth spendind all of that money on. i'm no fanboy, btw. I have a gamecube, psp, and xbox (best of the 3), which reminds me; the wii can use gamecube memory cards and controllers for the gamecube games. You can sell your gamecube and still use your saved files on the Wii! I don't know if the wii will win the console war, but i love it and highly recommend it if you can get your hands on it. My friend has an xbox 360 and when he came over he had the time of his life (he refused to let me play), yet he said he thought his 360 was 'way ever'. yeah, until it overheats and blows up (exageration). i could tell he was jealous. 360 is fun but this is just so amazing. i don't know much about the ps3, so i can give no comparison.
This is the cheapest and best system and my opinion. I also think the "virtual console thing will be cool. One more thing, out of sony, microsoft and nintendo, i trust nintendo the most.
Well, now my xbox is my "backup" system like my (awesome!) gamecube was.
PS, target was really goo with their launch thing. They told us there were 15 wiis 2 hours prior to its opening, handed out the tickets and told us to come back at opening to pick up our wii. They're so much better than those crooks at best buy who had my mom waiting in line for hours and the manager comes out at opening and says they have no wiis like it's funny.
Best (or "Worst") Buy: F-
Target: A++

After reading the reviews for months about how wonderful the Wii system was, I decided to take the plunge. Usually when a product is hyped as much as this, you are setting yourself up for a big disappointment.
Absolutely NOT the case with the Nintendo Wii. I've been playing video games since the days of PONG and have NEVER had so much fun as I have with the Wii.
Yep the Xbox 360 and the PS3 have better graphics. GRAPHICS SMAPHICS! Can you say FUN???
Video games are supposed to be entertainment and the Wii system does entertainment in spades! Everyone that's played our system says they are going to get one. The Wii system is probably the best party game around and will bring smiles and laughter to everyone that plays. Even those curmudgeons who don't play video games get hooked!
Wii Sports is included with the console and with that game alone the system is well worth the money. The number and variety of games will satisfy both kids AND adults! Want to burn some calories? Go a few rounds of boxing. You'll lose weight I guarantee it! We're also looking forward to the balance board and Wii Fitness that is going to be released this holiday season. Imagine having a game system that also doubles as your gym?
But there are also a ton of games from third party developers that are outstanding! For example, check out my review of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08.
It's absolutely incredible that a system this much fun is HALF the price of the "next gen" systems. The only thing "next gen" about the Xbox 360 and the PS3 is their processing power. The Nintendo Wii truly qualifies as the Next Generation of Video Gaming.
Trust me, take the bucks you would spend on a bare bones Xbox 360 or a PS3 and get the Wii and a ton of FUN games.
Did I mention it is FUN FUN FUN???

you might as well get an extra nunchuk. We don't have too many games but you'll need this for boxing and for Raving Rabbits (which we love).
