The reason I bought this was for the Wii fit, I have not owned a video game since Atari. I am hooked! Everyone in my family is using it from my 2 year old to my 68 year old mother. I love the excercise, having it hooked to my wireless network and getting news. I can definitely say all the hype is well deserved.

I absolutely love this game. My husband bought it for my Christmas and I can't seem to stop playing it. Even my 2 year old is having fun playing the tennis, bowling and boxing. This is a must have for family fun. And must I say how swore my body is from playing this Wii? Love it!

The Nunchuk work very for the boxing game. I am able knock my oponent in a very short period.( within 3 minutes into the game)

Our family just got the Wii for Christmas this year as a gift from the family and this was a must have so more than one person could play our new games. Only thing that could make it any better is if the Wii came with two of them from the get go.

The nunchuck is easy to set up. Simply plug it into the base of the Wii remote and you're ready to go. The nunchuck is used in games where you'll find yourself having to move your character around. The nunchuck has a control stick, It also has a C button and Z button that can be used in many games. The nunchuck doesn't take batteries. However, it should be noted that the nunchuck attachment will drain the batteries in your wii remote faster.

I have owned almost all of the game systems that have come out except for a few of the Nintendo. I just was not a big fan. These days I'm a huge XBOX 360 fan. When I saw the controllers for this new system I though if Nintendo pulls this off it will be huge for them. I decided to give the system ma try and waited in line for 13 hours at Wal-Mart with my 9 year old daughter. She loved the wait and interacting with all the other people waiting for the release. By the time we got it home that night we were both to tried to hook it up that night so it stay in the box till the next morning. The hook up was easy. I spent the money on 3 extra controllers and nunchucks and Trauma center (which I haven't had a chance to play yet) and Zelda. The game that comes with the unit was one of the smartest decisions by a company I have ever seen. This reminds me of pong back in the 70's when everyone at least tried playing the first video games ,because the games are so easy to play that everyone can and will be talked into playing them. I can't wait to get my 76 year old mother year to play some golf and bowling. We had friends over on Sunday to watch the Bears-Jets game. They are not video game fans to say the least and made fun of me for sitting in line for 13 hours. I talked them into trying the system and then had to talk them into getting off the system because the game was starting and they were having too much fun playing a video game. They apologized to me for making fun of me waiting inline for that long.
I knew going into the purchase the unit was small, but it still shocked me how compact it is. It's a nice sleek design that is simple. The main interface on the unit is manageable and ready for many upgrades. It seemed all of the online features were not available yet except for the Nintendo shop. 10 dollars for a Nintendo 64 game is a little steep. They need to take a look at that. The Mii interface was neat and I had to stop my daughter from creating miis for each child in our neighborhood. The only con I had witht he system was the remotes ran on AA batteries. It would have been nice for them to be on a rechargable system. I'll just have to go get a battery recharger.
Will I stop playing and recommending the XBOX 360. NO, because I still believe the 360 is the best on the market at this time (The Wii could change that in time). But I will be spending less time on it because of the Wii. If you are on the ledge about this system get off and go and find one. It is worth it. If you're looking for a system that the entire family can enjoy this is it. You will not be disappointed.
P.S. If you're going to trash the system without playing it goes somewhere else. People come here for opinions on if this is a good buy for them. Not for some flamer that's close-minded and loves only his playstation or XBOX and everything else stinks no matter what.

This game is pretty much a glorified WiiMote tutorial. There are a couple of mildly entertaining sections, but it's really nothing that will inspire repeated or enthusiastic play.

I'm just the grandfather who bought the game. The recipients -- ages 6 and 8, seemed to enjoy it, and I was the hit of the Christmas gift opening for that purchase and another item I bought at Amazon.

We have a 3 year old and a 5 1/2 year old, and we all enjoy the Wii. We love the Wii Sports that comes with it--especially the bowling. We also purchased Mario Kart and love that we can play online with my niece and nephew who live 70 miles away.

The addition of a second nunchuk really broadens the ability of the Wii so several of us can play games at the same time. Without it, the Wii becomes a single player game unit. I recommend that everyone owner have at least 2 nunchuks.

thats what i said ......wow . i ordered the nintendo wii on a monday and it was here on wednesday . no shipping or taxes . and thats after looking online at walmart , kmart , target and even craigslist. you couldnt beat that deal if you tried. and i got it at the price the other stores were advertising it for .

The bottom line is that if you own a Wii, you should have one nunchuk for every Wii remote. Not every Wii game requires a nunchuk, but you don't want to be stuck with out it when a game comes along that offers greater precision and control through use of the nunchuk.In general, the control stick on the nunchuk will allow you to control your on-screen character (ex. Mario Galaxy). However, because the nunchuk also features motion sensitive controls it can serve as your left hand in games such as boxing.Wii is very enjoyable with just a Wii remote, but if you intend to get the most out of your Wii, make sure to have 4 Nunchuks and 4 Wii Remotes!

My webmaster for my new website/blog and my oldest daughter requested this game for her birthday gift and as payment for all her efforts on my start up blog. She is enjoying it so much combined with the Wii fitness game that now the whole family would like one. Our dentist has a Wii game and really likes it and my daughter's enthusiasm for the fitness game has inspired our dentist to purchase it. My daughter thought I should have one for feeling fit on the many rainy days and she is considering dropping her gym membership as she likes Wii and bicycle riding better than the unfriendly gym. My dentist offered to write me a prescription for one as she enjoys the system so much. All the women who use the system find it good for fitness and feel more toned. Several have lost weight. The games are fun and not so repetitious. My daughter liked being able to do yoga and bowl in the middle of writing papers without having to go to the gym and gear up.

This is the third Wii our family has purchased. We have one at the lake, one for the house and I purchased one for the kids den. It is always fun and something the adults and kids can do together.

I purchased the Wii for my children. I opened it and hooked it up, which was very easy to do, I played for hours boxing, golfing, bowling. I had a great time and I know my kids will love it. I like the Wii because it is designed to get your kids up and be active even if you are playing video games. I LOVE THE Wii

Hey, my kids and grandchildren are the most important people in my life. The Wii is a great way to connect with them and have fun doing it. When do you last remember actively playing with your Son or Daughter or Grandchild? This great game helps break down the barriers of age...it's something you can all share, laugh and enjoy doing. It becomes clear on the first try that this is not your standard Video Game but a way to stay active just like outdoors activities of Tennis, Golf and Baseball or indoor sports like Bowling or Boxing. Be careful, you will work up a sweat but better still, you'll create memories your Children and Grandchildren will remember and cherish. It's a great product!

The nunchuck works the same as the one from the system which is just fine. The 5 stars are for Amazon's great price which I couldn't beat anywhere.

Ordering was simple, shipping was quick. The game that comes with the Wii provides hours of entertainment and has unlimited replayability. Extra controllers are a little expensive. Fun for the whole family!

Items were shipped and arrived right on schedule. Received in excellent condition and units were sealed in boxes wrapped with cellophane. Shipping container was unmarked as far as having any damage and items are in perfect condition, very suitable for a Chrismas gift. Highly desired by both young and old.

My daughter received the Wii for Christmas and even though one nunchuk came with the game; it is much more convenient to have two. This allows her to pay with others without having to switch back and forth.

Got this for my daughter for Christmas. It's lots of fun. Not hard to set up. The only problem we had was a bad controller that had to be exchanged. That was a bit of a disappointment. You expect things out of the box to work.

Having had both PS and PS2, I got the wii for my kids since they are about the age where they could get into video games (oldest is 7)... I think Ive had more fun with the wii than even them! Really unique with the virtual control... fairly easy to use. We love it!
