This thing is a wonder. I can see why everyone wants one. I can also see why everyone needs one. Has helped me lose 15 lbs and not even think I was doing any exercise to do it.

I am so happy with my Wii purchase. It's the one thing that my whole family can take part in and have an awesome time. From 3 to 35, we enjoy the system very much. And I love the selection of games that can be purchased - most especially the Wii Fit for me. Every household should have one of these!

I bought this item for my grand kids to play with. They needed this item because of the games they had to play on.They were so excited on Christmas when they opened this package.I wish this item could be included with the controller. Amazon is the place to shop,fast service ,fast delivery.I am well pleased. Thanks Amazon

If you buy an extra wii remote this is a must have as this allows you to play most games two handed instead of trying to play ith just the remote and have to try to push all kinds of different buttons. Also make games a lot more fun with more interaction and more realistic moves.

I had this image of gaming for only kids but they do have games that are for adults as well. The graphics is not like the PS 3, but the interactive of the game play overall is much better and more challenging. The remote control takes some time to get used to. Not much down side aside from the battery dies pretty quickly since you'll play so much on it. So its a great buy overall that's why its still the top seller.

As far as the game goes it is great and fun to play. A bit on the easy side and wish the AI was a bit better but all and all a great game and must buy for any NHL fan.

The nunchuck is a "must-have" for several of the games for the Wii system. I have had no problems in the 30+ days that I have owned mine. Amazon has a better price than most retailers for this item, so it's a no-brainer to buy this item from them. I would definitely recommend buying an extra controller and nunchuck if you buy the Wii system, as it only comes with one.

With 11 and 13 year old boys with an xbox 360 you could ask why a Wii. But we set up in the family room and it gets well used by the whole family rather than the boys going off to do their own thing. Good also for entertaining the neighborhood kids - parents have not yet played each other but who knows.......

We bought the Wii for our 15 and 11 year old sons for Christmas. The Wii has been so much fun for the entire family. The contols are very sensitive and take some getting use to. Mario Kart was highly recommended and really took a while to get the hang of the controls. It's a lot of fun.

My family and I have had a blast with the Wii ever since we bought it. We played a few different games. Had a blast with them and at the same time we got a workout like you wouldn't believe. The soreness only lasted a couple of days but was well worth it. The Wii is a great system for any age!!

+ Ended up buying second remote and the Wii Play games are even more fun (though you end up becoming a couch potato)

We got the Wii for Christmas and played a lot over the holidays as a family. It is fun for all and easy enough to learn for the game system impaired like me! I would buy this system again as it is getting used frequently by many different members of the family and their friends.

waht can i say, nintendo just sold 70 million units of wii in 2008, i think it speaks for itself. i love bowling in it. its just like the real thing, when i throw and twist my hand i get a curve ball just like the real ball would behave, isnt it amazing? buy it if dont have one!!!

I didn't have much desire to ever own any of the arcade style games like this or the Playstation, X Box, et cetera. To me the cost was prohibitive for the games and since you can not use them for other things like work which you can do on a PC. The Wii changed my attitiude. Since my wife asked for a Wii for Christmas I have bought several games and devices to make the overall experience better. I must admit I love playing most of the games myself and some are indeed very physically demanding. I recommend this Wii system to people of all ages and this software runs the gamut of being useful in playing a variety of the games for the Wii. One warning, be sure to clear the area in front of the TV.
The problem isn't the controls strapped to your wrist, it is hitting items on tables with those controls and sending them flying into the TV screen. While bowling with the Wii I launched a TV remote control into my HD Projection TV set and cracked the plexiglass screen. So with the bat, golf club, and tennis racket you run the risk of hitting something into your set. Just be aware of that and clear the area of any hard items. I highly recommend the Wii. Great fun and exercise rolled up into one package. I suggest you shop around as sometimes they are way overpriced because they are not easy to find, however with a little effort you will find them selling for the manufacturer's retail or slightly higher. Over four hundred is just scalping.

i am not a gamer, i bought this for my husband. i was drawn in and played the sports games that came with the wii on a dare. to my surprise, i had fun. i still prefer to watch others play but of all the systems out there, this is the only one that got me up, enjoying and wanting to play, and having fun.

Of course, most of you know by now, that the Wii is great!! Sometimes, hard to come by but a great console. I made my purchase during the Christmas season and the order arrived on Christmas Eve, whew! My kids (12 and 2)absolutely love the interaction the game provides.

I'm one of those people who camped out at Target with my wife on release day of the Wii. Oddly enough, camping out at Target with my wife ended up being the most fun thing about the Wii. Sure, I had a love affair with the Wii for a month or two. I loved Wii Sports, but that was when I thought the horrid graphics in Wii Sports were due to the fact that it was a tech demo, so I dealt with it.
The graphics are terrible, across the board on the Wii. When you put them up against the PS3, it just makes it feel like you're playing a game system that's 10 years old already. The graphics honestly look no better than the GameCube or PS2, both last generation systems.
Finally, the WORST part about the Wii is the control scheme. Yeah, Wii Sports was fun for a couple months, but once you figure out the Wiimote, you realize it's really not very sensitive, and you can manipulate it so that you can bowl a perfect strike every time in bowling, or hit homeruns in baseball almost every time, and then the boxing game is just plain broken the controls are so bad. When you see all of the PS2 ports getting thrown on Wii, instead of the games going to ps3 and 360, you really start to wonder about the Wii. Then when you play those ports with tacked on motion controls, the gimmick of it all really starts to hit home. I found waggling the controller from side to side in Zelda to be just plain dumb and annoying. Oh, and did I mention the pointer functionality with the sensor bar just plain sucks. It works for absolute garbage.
To sum it up, I wish I never bought this thing. I play my PS3 every day, and this thing hasn't been turned on in three months now. BTW, the PS3 motion controls seem to actually be more accurate to me, and the shape of the PS3 controller lends itself well to flying and driving games, which is really the only good use of motion control I've seen yet. The Wiimote does not lend itself to flying and driving games because of its shape. It feel very awkward driving or flying with the wiimote tilted on its side.
My advice, pony up and buy a PS3, it's a much better value, and most importantly the games are a lot better.
