We own the Wii play as many of you do and wanted a second nunchuck in order to box two player. Works great. Purchase was great!

We love our Wii. The kids have fun and its good family fun time. Be warned, they will get good at the games a lot quicker than you so be prepared to be humbled. Good leassons for the kids on how to handle success too.

Not much to say. A Nunchuk controller is needed to play some of the games on my Wii. It is durable and works great.

Works well.....It won't make you more attractive to others or save you money on your auto insurance, but if you're going to play the boxing game on Wii...you're gonna need at least one.

I haven't had an opportunity to play the game yet because it's a Christmas gift. However, it came fast!! Thanks Amazon. I will come back to write another review after Christmas.

I think Wii has brought in a new wave for gaming - making you get off your rear and actually putting an effort into the video game! Very different from the usual "sit-in-front-of-the-TV-and-hit-some-buttons" kind of games. No doubt the graphics are not as exceptional but they are good enough for me. (I own a PSP too)
This is great fun for the whole family and all ages... I like it a lot and play a whole lot with my wife, who normally isnt into gaming.
Wii Fit is an amazing addition (if you can get your hands on it!!)

These games get kids off the couch and they actually get some excerise. My husband and I like the bowling best but the grandchildren love all the games. It's worth every penny.

Our family enjoyed the Wii we bought as grandparents so much that this year we are giving all three of our adult children a Wii for their families. There are plenty of good family-styled games to play.

I have been playing video games using the controls before this, but this game has amazing wireless remote and nunchuk which makes you feel as if you are playing really in the ground, very close.

We bought a Wii for our family for Christmas. It looks like a lot of fun in the commercials, with the people jumping around and really getting into their games. I think I may be too old school for this kind of gaming. I love to play all kind of games (I am 38) but I have not found the Wii to be so wonderful just yet. I like to sit and be comfortable while I play. We have the sports games, Sonic vs. Mario, and boxing. I just rented Thrillsville and am curious to find out more about that game. It has interesting use of the controller, where you tilt it to tilt the track you are adding on to your roller coaster. Sonic is an olympic competetion and involves a lot of the same action as the sports one. They are fun and my kids, 8, 6 and 3, really like them. I enjoy the graphics. I think it may take some time for me to see the value of the extra cost of the Wii. I would have put off buying a Wii another year but then we could not play any of the new games and I don't like putting my money towards a game when a better version of it is already available (though you can get most Gamecube games at great prices now, for obvious reasons). I think the Wii games are a lot of fun and the Mii characters you make yourself are wonderful. Once I get used to all the movement and extras like internet connection, I may feel it was worth the extra money for the Wii.

Rented the game 1st and my Granddaughter loved it was able to get it on Amazon, with free shipping. The game was here in about three days. Can't wait to see her on Christmas morning

First Impression

It is June, 2007 and new Wii consoles are next to impossible to find either mailorder or locally. After a weeks worth of hard searching I finally located the one and only one in my town for sale at list price at a local Supercenter. My two elementary aged grandsons own a PS3 and an XBox360 respectively and both wanted a Wii.
First impression: Unboxed the Wii and hooked it to a 27" Sony standard def. TV. The Wii image was crystal clear. I then turned the Wii over to my Xbox 360 owning eleven year old grandson. At first he couldn't get the remote to talk to the on screen menu but that problem was solved by relocating the light bar from the top of the TV to below the TV. This grandson had played a Wii at at friends house before and was ready, willing and able to test the box by first creating a family of Mii's. The Mii's are sort of like avatars. The Mii creation program is part of the Wii operating system. The player can make the Mii's wear different clothes, different hair styles, etc. This Mii creation is almost a game all to itself.
Then it was time for the real test of Wii console. The first game on the software disk that comes with the console is Tennis.
The Wii instructions, both on paper and on screen warn you VERY strongly to always have the remote control wrist strap around the player's wrist. Once my grandson started the tennis game I knew why. To hit the tennis ball the player like my grandson makes a wild arm movement with the remote. Everybody must stand back because the player needs living room space to swing their electronic tennis racket.
I'm very impressed that such a capable game machine can be sold for such a fair price. I know that I've only seem a small amount, so far, of what this very affordable game machine can do. Best of all my grandkids will bring me their love when they come to visit to play Wii games.
