I love my Wii. I have never owned any video game player before & thought they were too hard to understand. Wii is fun & simply to play. Hours of fun. My neighbors have a Wii & we get together with all of our remotes & play together. Great entertainment no matter what age you are.

I finally got my hands on a Wii after all this time and to be honest, I could've waited longer. As great as some of the games are, there are very few of them and the unique control scheme only dazzles you for so long. There's lots of great games on the horizon and this system is the ONLY place you'll find games like Zelda, mario and Metroid. On top of that, with the wii network where you can download hundreds of retro games, it has the largest library of games hands down, so long as you don't have any of the past systems/games that they came out on.
In the end, this game shows lots of promise, but so far hasn't quite lived up to the hype yet

I had been wanting to purchase a Wii since the launch of the system, but the money tree wasn't producing. My husband and I decided that instead of trying to come up with the extra money for the system, we would rack up the reward points on our bank card by using it for all of our bill payments and everyday purchases. It took us a year and a half, but we finally got it!!! We are enjoying each and every moment that we spend playing with it, and our oldest daughter loves the Wii Sports games (especially baseball.) It really is a nice system to own that the whole family can get something out of.

purchased the Wii for christmas for my 8yr old daughter. However, we all use it. It is a great tool for those who don't get out of the house much. As for me I work out of my home so I don't get a chance to get out much so I use the Wii for excercise.WE mostly play the Just Dance game, or the Wii fitness. It really works...

This is a very fun game Everyone should have one. Can pass a lot of fun time with this game.It is great for young and old alike. We have passed a lot of idol time with these games. Wii Mario Bros. Bowling amd many more games that our super fun and provide lots of fun hours.

WII is amazing. It is so much fun but you have watch it because as you play time goes so fast that before you know it you are very sore. My family favorite is Bowling. We can play for hours. All the games that we have played are fun and addictive. It is great for family time.

A great addition to any enteratinment system. The graphics may not be as good as some of the more expensive systems but the ineraction that this provides with a family and friends goes way beyond graphics. This seems to be one game system that will be around for more then a couple of years. You can use old games from the past or add hardware and newer games, you have so many options to keep things fresh.
Shipping from Amazon arrived very quickly as usual. It sure beats going to a store using gas and waiting in a long line....thanks Amazon.com :)

The nunchuck works great with our pinball game. However, the directions for installing is were worthless. We had to call our daughter to find out how to install it on our wii.

After playing the Wii at my brothers house and my parents house we decided to buy the Wii to help with exercise and improve quality time on family game night. We all like playing the sports games and we are enjoying the workout as well. I think the Wii is one of the best things invented. We have come a long way since Pong and Spaced Invaders. Very glad that Nintendo decided to knock the price down.

I love this product. I use it almost everyday and I am getting better slowly at all the fitness challenges. I can't wait to get the new wii game jillain michaels 2009 workout. It should really kick me i n the pants and get me off to a great start.

As this was a Christmas gift for my in-laws, I am writing simply to state the superiority of Amazon of Alibris. The shipping was prompt and on time despite the worst time of year for shipping. Everything arrived as exactly described and made Christmas shopping that much easier!

When the wii first came out I thought it was a piece of crap. After my sister got one this past christmas I began to play hers and that made me want to get one. I only have two games for it right now (mario galaxy and star wars the force unleashed) I would highly recommend this system for casual and hardcore gamers alike. But what I like most is that you can download classic games from previous nintendo systems all the way to the nes.

My family is really enjoying the Wii. They play it just about everyday. I broke my leg just a couple days after I ordered it, so I haven't played it as much as I'd like, but as soon as I can move around more, I definitely will.

I just LOVE the Wii because Im really not the "gamer" type. I love how simplistic it is and fun! Its great for just one player or a whole room of friends or family! I highly recommend to someone who isnt really into all those crazy kind of war/zombie/fighting kind of games!

Last week a bought my Wii through Amazon and sent it to Grandma's home in NY. I live in Colombia and I'm waiting for a 'cuz to bring it to me on next two weeks... I can't wait no more... I have read so many opinions and I'm sure me and my wife are going to have big fun. Once I pick it up, I'll make a review... I'm so excited!

I bought this system for our family last Christmas and am so very happy that I did. My 5 year old daughter is a huge fan of the Dora and Princess games. The Mario Kart is also a huge hit with the entire family. We have Wii game night every Friday and we look forward to it every week. This is truly a game system for the entire family, young, old. No matter if you are experienced at gaming or not you can easly pick up and get the hang of just about any of the games. I cannot say enough good about this system. If you are in doubt dont be and buy the Wii.wii

There just aren't enough games that I enjoy being produced for the WII system. I love the Zelda/Link games and Super Mario adventure games, but Super Metroid was a disappointment due to frustrating controller use, as was Nights. Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles featured disappointing graphics, music and, once again, frustrating game play. That was the final straw for us: No more spending good money on bad games for the WII! So we recently got a PS3 and are loving it as well as the games (5) that we have bought for the PS3.
I suppose the WII is fine for sports games, but for role-playing/adventure games, there just aren't enough titles available.
The WII is still in the house, but collecting dust until they come out with a new Zelda or Mario title.

Allegedly by E3..MS is supposed to be dropping the price on the 360 60GB Pro model down to $250..which is good for me and Microsoft..not so go for Nintendo because I had been planning on getting a Wii soon and it looks like I won't..bigger game library,60GB hard drive,High Definition gaming,no throwing the controller into the LCD TV and breaking it on accident because of a cheap strap..
oh and the avatar system that MS has..AND the ability to install games to the hard drive..so MS is using the same idea as Nintendo and Sony..however they are doing it better because their online network (im sure you have heard of it..it's called Xbox LIVE)..granted you pay $50 a year and I'm willing to do that because of the content available..
downloaded TV episodes in HD,rented movies in HD,downloaded full games,game add-ons.
The 360 also when connected to your network,can stream content from your PC *I have a computer running Windows XP and Vista x64 on a separate hard drive and have never had any trouble streaming media through my home network*
I would have handed my money over to Nintedo,but when my laptop is more powerful than their flagship game console..I start to wonder "is it worth it?"..
One reason why the Nintendo Wii is "in demand"..they only make what? 10,000 units per year?..
Whereas Microsoft and Sony make that many consoles in a couple of months.

This is the first video game we have ever had, it's fun, but you may want to buy extra games, Wii Sports gets kinda blaa after a while, also, you will want the Wii Charge Station, Power runs out fast! Tennis is fun, I would let anyone from ages 5-100 years to play it, Golf...well...it's hard, maybe only 15-100 year olds will want to play it without getting mad at it!! Baseball is also a little on the hard side, hitting the ball is hard...ages 8-100years, Bowling ALL AGES!!! Fun, easy, etc. Creating a "Mi" for yourself is also fun, we made one that looks JUST LIKE our dad! In fact, all my brother likes to do on Wii is make "Mi"s!

Excellent game system. Family oriented, moreso then I even envisioned. The physical involvement is what makes it really "stand out". I can see why it's so popular and hard to find in stock. Highly recommended.

In 1985, Nintendo was a powerhouse giving us the orginal Nes , and in 1991 had another bang with SNES.Nintendo did make the N64 which revolutionized 3d graphics period and then came the Gamecube but ir wasnt until 2006 that Nintendo got it's mojo back with this state of the art system.They are now back on top simular to where they were in 1985, in fact Nintendo has beaten both its competetors XBox 360 and PS3 by a milestone why is this you as simple owning a Nintendo is fun again.With motion control and the you are expeirencing the game feel instead of paying it.Why play as Mario when you can be Mario or be Link from Zelda.
With its wi fi connection support built in you can play with people from all over the world, with wii wear you can get classic nintendo console games like Super Mario Bros.The controls at times get hard to get used to but the Wii has games to help you get used to the controls because right now they are unlike any video game system controls.These sports games will get you geared up for when you get and future games, if these controls the wii controller and the nunchuck are not your bag then you can get a regular controller or it as it gives you that option plus you can hook up a gamecube controller with 4 players at a time this system has the best multi player control.The graphics while not as close or superior to its competetors the graphics are beautiful for this system
