I have a Wii Fit Plus and wanted the same for my older brother. Since he did not have the console yet, I had to find it first. I knew he would never buy one for himself, but he has loved it! His birthday is Feb. 15 and it took almost a month to find it in stock and at the right price.

I finally got a Wii for Christmas this year and overall have been very pleased. Everything worked like it was supposed to and the WiiSports game is very cool. I like that the Wii comes with WiiSports. It's a short set of sports games that give you a very good feel of the capabilities of the system, particularly the remote. It also gives you something to do out of the box without having to buy anything else. Granted, you'll want to get other games.
I have never been a "gamer" and I am also a college student. I have no problems with the graphics, but then again, my TV probably isn't good enough to make XBox 360 or PS3 graphics look any better. It is true the Wii has a larger target audience than the XBox 360 or the PS3, which is probably why it has sold so many. You will see people griping about the graphics. They would rather have a button and joystick controller in there hand and be able to see a fly from 300 yards. In my opinion they don't like the Wii for valid reasons, but they are reasons that other people don't need to have shoved down their throats.
I am disappointed that it doesn't play DVDs. I don't need it to, I have a home theater system, but it just seems like it should play DVDs. I also wouldn't expect it to play Blu-Ray discs becasue frankly Blu-Ray is a waste of money to 90% of people.
The other thing I am disappointed in is the game library. As others have pointed out, there are a ton of games like "Petz" and "The Naked Brothers Band". There are some good ones like "Mario Party" and "Mario Kart" (supposedly, can't find a copy anywhere). There are Guitar Hero games for it too, but I want to see some more games for older people, one's that aren't first person shooter games.
This system is perfect for anybody under about 13. There need to be more games to make it perfect for anybody older than that, but still worth having.

You really need a balance board to fully enjoy this game. It offers a full exercise plan. Keeps track of your exercises, and calorie loss. I like it.

We were originally worried that this may be a little much for our children. We are tired of buying toys only to see them play with them for a week and then in the toy box they go to rarely be seen again. We have a 4 and 6 year old and decided to pull the trigger. And boy are we glad we did. THEY LOVE THIS GAME. They literally played it all day and didnt want to stop at bedtime. I love the fact that it makes them active while playing the games instead of just sitting there. The whole family will enjoy this for a long time. I highly recommend this over the PS3 and XBOX 360 for the kids. And there are a lot more kid oriented games for the Wii also.

I was amazed at the pricing and quality. On a 32 inch tv it looks amazing. Just make sure to go to settings and switch it to hd TV.

It was nice to be able to free up the RCA plug-ins on the back of my TV. Seems to be of good quality and works as advertised. And cheap, too!

Got the Wii to get Wii Fit for days when I can't do my normal exercise routine. So far so good. Don't know if I'll ever play any other games, but enjoy using the Wii Fit.

This is a fun game. There is a variety of different games to choose from. They are fun but it tests your dexterity, mind/hand coordination, etc. When my nephew comes to visit, I have to fight to get time in to play. Some games are easier than others, but are easy. The tank game brings back memories of playing Atari. There are just the right amount of games to choose from. This game is good for ages 7+. They are easy to understand. There's a demo and instruction of how to play the game so you are not left in the dark. I would highly recommend this game

You probably have read a ton of reviews already, so I am going to write this a little differently, from a different perspective.
I grew up playing a lot of family games, board games, card games, etc. It was a great way for the family to interact and get together and bond. It seems those days are few and far between....almost gone. My kids play some games, but most of there friends just play video games. We got this with the thought that the kids would be able to play more with their friends. We have found that many of the games are geared towards the family and are a lot of fun. Wii Sport is a game we play most often. Wii Fit is probably second. Just these two games are worth buying this system. Also, the fact that you can browse the internet, etc., makes this a no brainer. If you are looking for the hottest graphics, etc., then an XBOX or PS3 is probably better, but if you have you kids, and/or you are looking for fun things to play, this is the system for you. There are plenty of interactive, sports, non-violent, educational, etc., games that should satisfy everyone. I would recommend getting rechargeable batteries, or else you will go through a ton of batteries very quickly. It will save you a bundle!

They play it often all but the pool. Matching, shooting and tank game are my four year old son's favorite. He can play completely on his own, but usually his sister joins him. My 6 year old daughter likes it a little less than my son, but any time she has friends sleep over she and her friends usually put this in and have a blast. Even my one year old started playing now the shooting and cow racing game. My husband and I both enjoy it, also.+ still one of the most played here after one year+ not much reading, so young kids can play unassisted+ the entire family can play- 2 at a time- only one game that's a bit physical (the cow race-> jumping, though could just move remote up and down quickly)

i got it the last night wow is awesome, i went to GAME STOP and i trade my old wii sytem with extra control and nuck...plus i paid $50 plus taxes..WOW incleible...

even though i'm not much of a gamer (anymore), i still play wii with my gf on occasion. i also own a PS3, PS2, and N64 but never play them. i even have guitar hero on PS3, but i still only play wii because the wii games are much more fun.
i also have a wii fit, which i also highly recommend.

I love the wii.I think its even think better than a ps2.Well,i think its a hair better.Theirs better fishing games like fishing master world tour,but i dont know if their is a game like that for the ps2.The fishing games are fun!Like fishing master[not regular fishing master,the other one]is the best because of the fake fish.Best.So,the wii is the best to me.

After not being able to find a Wii anywhere in town, I ordered from Technobiz - they stuck by their promise 110%! It was here as promised (if not faster). I also ordered from them for a friend after being so pleased, and hers was the delivered quickly (faster than promised). I will definitely order all of my stuff from them!

The Wii console is a wonder and easy to put. But I bought all the props to play the sports with my girl and... Surprise! The included cd (Wii Sports) was completely useless. Each time we put it, a black screen with the ilogical message that "there is an error and you have to turn off the console" just make me want to scream. Why they sell the console with a game that doesn't work? I don't know if I was the only one with this inconvenient problem. Lucky that I bought other games and my girl was not wondering what happened with the tennis match we were supposed to have. Really, it was a big dissapointment.

Purchased gaming package for family use. Package came with five basic sports program. Family has had hours of enjoyment with this gaming unit. Would suggest purchasing additional controller and nunchuk controller for play with multiple players.

It's the Nintendo revolution of the orginal NES all over again...
I have not owned console in years and finally found a great deal right on this site. If you do your reseach you will know that the Nintendo Wii is not the most powerful console but it is the top seller beating out the X-Box 360 and Playstaion 3 for a reason. It's FUN!!! The free disc the comes with the system lets you play various sporting games and gets you used to a new way of playing games. You dont have to worry about hitting ten different buttons while playing games like other systems. If possible, you have to connect your Wii to the internet wirelessly. I enjoy the PC but having access to all of my sites right before or after games is a blast. Do yourself a favor and buy this system. Have some fun...it's worth the price.

My wife and have no kids but we have hours of fun with this game. I think my guests come over just to play sometimes.Now my wife spend less time on the phone and more time with me.

I bought this for my daughter last year for Christmas and we all love it. I enjoy being able to go on the internet and shop. :) and I like all the games that even I can play with her and how it can have parental controls and time limits and how long she spends on each game. We don't have that many though. I personally love Wii Fit. i think it is fun and I am really getting a workout. the console is small and fits almost ANYWHERE in our TV stand. Sooo easy to set up and use. The controllers are very accurate on the screen. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I love my Nintendo Wii. We couldn't find one anywhere until we decided to look on Amazon. There were several for sale! The first time fell through because they were out-of-stock, but Amazon let us know of another vendor who had them. Thank you Amazon! I use the sports application, especially the bowling game.

The system was in OK condition for not what I expected for what I paid. I had to replace the wireless bar that receives the remotes commands because the wire had been cut, and for that cost I could have just paid the extra 20.00 for a new system instead of 20 less for the used one. I am not real happy about this.
