Short: Aesthetically this was everything I wanted in a headset but the product does not have staying power.A little background information : I currently work for a company that requires you to purchase your own headset for work or they dock you about three hours pay to supply you with one. So after purchasing a "Logitech Stereo Headset H150 - Cloud White" which lasted less than four months I figured I would spend a little more and invest in a pair that seemed like it would work better. See there are three important factors when choosing a headset.First is how comfortable are you with the set on. Spending over forty hours a week with a headset strapped on it is very important there be some sort of padding but you also don't want a piece that is so bulky it starts to weigh on your head. It does border on becoming bulky but not enough that if it was still working properly that I would be purchasing another headset. 7/10Next in line is call quality dealing with people all day long who wish to mumble, murmur, slur or speak in a way that is so heavily accented it is almost impossible to discern I need to be able to hear what they are saying with as much clarity as possible and for the first two months I had this product it did just that. However it is now to the point that only one side of the headset with properly produce audio at a time and it will cycle from ear to ear and people complain constantly about me talking to them in a whisper and being able to hear themselves reverberating back. 3/10After call quality would have to be how long the product works. I am the type of person who is not penny wise and dollar foolish so if spending more means better quality I won't even think twice about purchasing something I need. This product however lasted me just enough time for me to really start telling others they should look into. I thought the product although never perfect was a good compromise between price and quality but I think and maybe I am wrong but I should get more then four months out of a headset before having to buy a new one at this rate it will cost me almost a 100 dollars a year just to work.

In one month you normally start to see signs of damage from storage in this manner. This headset so far has fared better then any other during this first month. In fact it seems to be in as good of shape as the day I took it out of the package (which was no small chore).Some items of note, most of the time I sit in my vehicle when making these calls. The plastic piece that is behind my head is not adjustable and sticks out a good inch or two. It does not really affect anything, it is not even uncomfortable... Until you lean back against something. The headrest of my car seat had to be adjusted, and I still hit it on occasion. When I do hit it, the headset gets moved forward and off my ears sometimes falling around my neck. I've learned to sit up when making calls to avoid this. Not necessarily a bad thing. I've made a few two-three hour conference calls with this headset on, and had no difficulties with comfort on the ears. My back however is another story.Additionally you do not really notice it while talking with people, but when you play music through the headset it becomes obvious. The sound is a little tinny. It really is not too bad, and nothing to complain about for the price. Just worth noting.Finally an item of note on the customization colors that are sent with this headset. They are cheap pieces of plastic that gives the headset an unique feature. I suppose if you have more then one of these, you could also use the colors as identifiers. They were not hard to remove and replace. I did however break the red pair removing them (when I was switching back to black). As I said they are cheap, but they do not affect the product usage at all. Once I got the black pair re-installed I pitched the rest. I don't plan on ever changing them again.Overall it is ok. For I what use it for, it works. With Skype or similar video chat it works fine, and I would recommend this as a cheap or budget headset. I would not really suggest it for gaming as the sound is tinny and that would get very annoying after awhile. I suppose if you played something like World of Warcraft or similar MMO (with either the game sounds muted or with them through the desktop speakers) only using the headset to talk on ventrilo/mumble/etc it would be ok. For music though I would not suggest it at all.

This is a wonderflu headset! Comfortable, clear, easily adjusts to however I need it at any given moment, and works well with my sound editing software. (Soundbooth, Audacity) The mute and volume functions on the in-line switch function perfectly! Although I have not used them, the switchable colorful faceplates are a plus, since it makes the headset easy to find and it can be changed on a mood or a whim. Would that all headsets worked like these!So, why am I docking a star? The cords are incredibly fragile. I've ended up with three of these so far and, while I'm looking at getting another one, I'm also looking for a way to set it up so the cord doesn't get tangled amongst the chair wheels or desk drawers, and where its wonderfully flexibly dangliness is away from my cat. The cord is very flexible, which makes it very easy to move around with while wearing the headset, but it also betrays the fact that the headset cord is easy to snap with only a modest amount of effort. If cords are an issue in your office or house, this headset may not be for you. If you don't mind fragile cords and want a clear, comfortable, inexpensive headset, you can't go wrong with this set!

These headphones worked great - until they simply quit working. The connector plug for the headphone portion clearly has some kind of problem - it will connect one ear, or the other, but not both. I presume something is loose. Other headphones in the same jack work just fine (I'd use them, but they don't have a mic) - but that means it's not the jack, or the other headphones wouldn't work.I don't unplug them on anything approaching a regular basis; I very seldom do so. They usually stay right on my computer desk, plugged in; I don't have any reason to unplug them, as I don't have speakers on my computer (and even if I did, my computer has the capacity to switch from headphones to speakers via software). Today, I picked them up, put them on, and suddenly the left ear is dead. Checked the connector - the left ear came on, but the right ear is dead. Put a pair of earbuds in the jack - no problem - perfectly audible (but of course, no microphone).I suppose you DO get what you pay for, but if all you get is three months' use, what's the point? I just spent a bit more and have replaced them, with the hopes that the new ones come SOON, as I use these for language software.Verdict: Buy something else.

I've had this headset for about a year and a half now, and although it was fantastic for its time, it didn't last. I used this Logitech H230 for Skype, gaming, and movies.Right off the bat I was rather impressed with the sound quality. It can go up to a good volume, and is quite clear.The microphone wasn't too bad. Granted it did pick up some white noise, but I could suppress it by messing with the microphone volume on my computer. The hardest part, though, was that the microphone would also pick up the output from the headphones. So, on Skype, echoing was a small issue. Again, this could be suppressed by messing with microphone volume though.The problem with these, though, is that after a few months the headphones would crackle. If the cord was moved, the output from the headset speakers would pop. Eventually, this led to the left speaker turning off unless the cord is put in just the right position. I had purchased one of these for my girlfriend awhile back, before the problems showed up, and hers has done the same.This has been my experience, however, with lots of 3.5mm headsets. It may simply be an inherent weakness of those devices, rather than the fault of Logitech. So, recently I've decided to try the Logitech H530 instead. It connects via USB, so I'm hoping not to run into the same problems. A friend of mine has had one for over 6 months now without issue, so I expect it to work out.As for this product, I'd recommend you consider how important longevity is to you. If you only need a cheap headset to get you by for a short time, this is the one for you! On the other hand, if you are wanting a reliable headset that will work for several years, I'd recommend looking for something more durable.

The headset is lightweight, behind-the-neck and stereo. The clip-on, in-line mute and volume control are nice. Other than these rather-standard features, this product is one of the worst I came to test.There is nothing remarkable about the sound quality. It is not to say the quality is bad. It is clear enough. But it is not any better than other products.The frame is weak and flimsy. It is inadequately shaped that one side of the frame touches the back of your neck while another side floats away from it.This headset is very uncomfortable. Earpieces swivel individually, but once you wear it, it does not adust to your ear, sitting in a skewed angle. Ironically, the flimsy frame is not flexible and moldable enough; so there's nothing you can do to correct the problem.After using it less than 5 times, the tightness of the frame got loose, and it didn't want to stay around the ear at all; it kept on slipping down, even after I took the advice from customer support what I could do to "reshape" the frame and make it tighter.In less than 3 months, the headset stopped working. In less than 4 months, all my purchases stopped working.A few days ago in March 2012, I forgot that I didn't like the product at all and purchased it again. The new product came broken. But Best Buy where I purchased the product refused to replace it because I did not buy the "Product Protection Plan" even if I brought it back to the store right away upon finding its condition.Any new product should be backed by its manufacturer and retailer, at least for a certain period of time, without charging additional fee. If they cannot back the product that they carry, I do not know how we can trust their products and services at all. I certainly have second thoughts about Logitech and Best Busy now; and just today, my friend decided to buy Cyber Acoustics on Amazon instead of Logitech at Best Buy based on my experience as well as replies we heard on SNS about this experience - apparently, there has been many people who had similar experience with Logitech product and/or Best Buy.

Overall I like the headphones set. The downfall for me is I wish the cord was longer so that I could have comfort when leaning back in my chair without the fear of coming out of plug. The second that doesn't work for me is the mute/volume control is not far enough up in the short cord. If I have on a collar shirt and choose to clip headphones I have to stay sitting in an upright position. I use these headphones to work from home and change positions often so that short cord combined with piston of volume control doesn't work well for my comfort level when working. The only thing else is making volume louder. I have a soft voice and some customers can't hear me loud enough even when I exert my voice.

These head phones have a good feel to them, unfortunately when I received them and plugged them in I found out that they don't work that well. The audio is great coming from the headphones, but when trying to use the microphone I noticed that It did not pickup my voice. I figured it was because the mic doesn't sit in front of your lips but to the side. So i tried to adjust them without any luck. In order to get a good voice level I had to practically shove the microphone in my mouth. I even tried them in different computers thinking it was my laptop, but no, it was the headset.

The Logitech headset is a decent mid-level product that provides slightly more value than a cheap entry level productThe good:- microphone is clear without noise or garbling. Good for skyping and/or dictation- decent sound quality for listening to music, but not really meant for high fidelity needs as in gaming- comfortable enough to keep over your ears without creating "ear cramping" or fatigue- volume control that is not on the headset itselfThe bad:- a bit bulky- microphone needs to be relatively close to your mouth in order to get good recording- line that feeds into the jack is only on one side, so it can get in the way depending on which side your computer is on- mic and headphone jack are separate so you will need to purchase and adapter if you want to use it with your smart phone- cord is a bit short for those who may have their computer on the floor and want to feed the wiring behind the desk

I bought these for Skype with my long-distance boyfriend. They work really well for that. I can hear him well and he raves about the increased audio quality on his end. They're pretty comfy, I have a lot of piercings in my ears ad they don't hurt them at all unlike some other headphones. The mic is adjustable- I wish it would go a tad bit lower, but that would be my only complaint. Not a major one. All in all, I'm glad I bought these.

It didn't take long to get them and I think it's a good price for them, But mine only lasted 29 days before I started to have problems with them. I couldn't hear out of them then my mic stop working and I think sometime they mute on my computer setting by there self and I don't know how they do it but it only did it once. Overall I think there a good headset if you take care of them and don't use them so much I think it will last a little bit long then mine did.

I bought this product for use with the Rosetta Stone program. I was slightly worried about the sound quality as the spanish language places a great emphasis on the enunciation of words.I was really impressed with the product from the start. The sound is very clear and the microphone works perfectly. At first I thought it was having troubles picking up my voice (I think rosetta uses soundwave patterns for each word and matches yours to their own), but it turns out that I was just a beginner when speaking spanish. My girlfriend used it to test it out, and it picked up her voice properly. Although she's had a few years of spanish class.Overall I would definitely recommend this to anybody who is looking to use it for rosetta stone.Quality 8 of 10Comfort 9 of 10Ease of Use 9 of 10Sound Quality 9 of 10

I use a headset sometimes for work, when I travel. I bought this a replacement and was satisfied, especially given the price. I found it cheaper at my local Radioshack [...]Pros:-Very lightweight, can wear it for 3+ hour meetings-Larger-sized dual headphones that doesn't hurt after an hourCons:-Mic is weak, have to bend it closer to the mouth to get good recording reception-The in-line volume control is unnecessary for a lower-end model such as this

The headphones themselves are great. Comfortable on the ears, and the part that goes around your ear is actually comfortable because of the padded ears, unfortunately, this got 3/5 stars for me because I bought a used pair and the left ear won't keep the sound, so I keep having to fuss with the wire. I wanted to exchange them for working ones, but I only bought them for a couple dollars, so I got what I paid for, lol.

As a female gamer, with a slightly smaller frame, I prefer lighter weight headsets because they don't hurt my ears. These are PERFECT for me. They're extremely lightweight and have a very nice lengthy cord, with separate headphone and mic jacks (which I prefer, because it allows me to listen to music or vent/Skype/whatever through my speakers while still having my mic plugged in).I've owned two pairs of these headsets and each has lasted over a year. The first pair, one of the earpieces went out, and the 2nd pair the mic went out, but again, they lasted for well over a year. For being so cheap, the fact that they lasted that long amazes me so they are definitely worth the money.If you're looking for untimate sound, however, the earpieces are just mediocre. The south quality is about what you would expect from your average headphones, so don't expect super awesome bass or sound quality. It's perfectly acceptable, however, for use with MMOs or Skyping with family/friends.Overall, for price, these are quality headphones for chatting purposes. Good mic, good headphones, good quality. Don't abuse them, obviously, and you'll get your money's worth.

I just needed a headset for some casual gaming and chatting with friends using Skype. These fit the bill perfectly. If I were a hardcore gamer and used these more than I do, Id get something sturdier. The sound and mic are good but the body of the headset is a bit frail so I dont recommend for kids as they tend to be a bit rougher on thier things. Other than that, it was a great buy at $20 for me.

I just received this headset and it works excellent so far. The volume gets really loud; on the max. volume I have to take them off my ear because they are so loud. I really like the quality of the product...so far. This is an analog headset (microphone and speaker plug-in) so if you only have one jack be sure to get a headset splitter adapter

I've owned a lesser expensive Logitech headset for 2 years or so, which is now falling apart ( I use it all day every day)They are comfortable and have excellent audio quality.So when I looked for a replacement headset I only looked at Logitech.Unfortunately, with this pair H250, every single person I spoke with complained of the audio quality, so i returned them. They also did not fit as comfortably as the other pair. This pair cost around $25.I will try another Logitech headset.

I want to like this headset. I really do. It feels good, it is very comfortable. At first, it sounds pretty good, too. The problem is that it does not last.Normally, I'm very easy on products and they last me a very long time, years past the warranties even. I've had two of this headset now, both purchased from different places, and they both only lasted a few months before the electronics inside started wearing out and the earphones started breaking from the frame. A friend of mine tried one as well, who also loved the comfort level, but it broke for them within just one month. Unless you're getting a really cheap deal, skip this one.

I know, who sets their hair in curlers anymore. Well, I do, so being able to use it with a head full of curlers is high on my list of needed features. This headset works well with a head full of curlers, or without. The sound is very clear, the microphone is very clear. I use it for internet phone calls, as well as listening to music, videos and webinars. I've also purchased one for my elderly aunt, so she can listen to music on her computer, as well as listen to audio books on her CD player. It seems to be holding up very well. The mute button doesn't mute completely, but it mutes enough that I can't be understood if I need to say something in the background to someone else, and don't want to be heard. The volume control works well, turning it all the way down results in not hearing anything, and turning it all the way up results in pain. Those on the hearing end of internet phone calls tell me they can hear me very clearly, and they don't hear background noise.

I really don't review many items but I thought I could save someone else a few bucks. The mic on this headset is almost useless. I bought it for an online class that I'm attending and no one can hear me unless I jam it up to my mouth giving a very faint sound. They are not the most comfortable either but I was not expecting much for around $20. Basically, they just don't work. Pass on buying these and try something else.

I was a little leery to buy a refurbished headset, but I like Logitech, and this particular around the back of the neck style, plus the volume control on the chord, for easy access. I have had this for several months and find not one thing wrong with it, and it works like new. I would recommend this seller. Marilyn in Kansas City, MO.

I bought this headset mostly because I needed a cheap microphone to hang around my neck while I'm gaming. The earpiece doesn't really matter to me because I have a computer with nice speakers and I'd rather let the sound come through those. But my goodness, this was probably the crappiest mic I've ever used. It would only pick up sound if it was practically touching my lips. Any further than that and it wouldn't even recognize that I was speaking. Thank goodness for Amazon's return policy because I got my money back, but save yourself the trouble and stay away from this.

The price seemed right, but the build quality is flimsy at best. The microphone was defective and led to much frustration.The cables and plugs are VERY fragile; this item will not stand up to daily use.I'm glad that Amazon has a great return policy.

We purchased this headset so that our staff can participate in teleconference and webinar sessions without having to use speakerphone and disrupt the rest of the office. It's a nice little inexpensive headset. It's comfortable to wear, and has volume controls which are helpful. I believe it also has a mute function.I own the same headset at home for my online college courses. It allows me to participate in the conversations comfortably. I can hear well through it, and people on the receiving end have said the sound quality is good there as well.

this is a really good headset. it does what its supposed to, and has volume control and you can can control when the mic is on or off. the only bad thing i would say is the padding, it does annoy your ears if you have glasses or a hat, but other than that its a really good product at a great price.

i did not like these because you have to plug them in at the tv and you they are heavy and they hurt the ears... i like them because you can hear both the game and chat at the same time.. i dont know if i would recommend them or not...

I purchased this product recently and like the look/style of the set. I especially love the behind the head design as it makes it easier on me due to wearing glasses as it prevent the set from placing pressure on my glasses legs which of course causes discomfort.Looks: What can I say, they are stylish, they come with color discs to customize how you want though I kinda like the default orangish color not that I am going to spend my time looking at them :)Headphone Sound Quality: not bad at all, given this is a headset designed for chat in mind I wont down rate it based on listening to music - however, even so music does not sound bad at all, in fact the sounds is nice as long as you do not turn it up too loud.Voice Sound Quality: While the headphones themselves sound good, I do notice the sound quality on recorded voice is a step below it. It still has a good sound, but it does have noticeable lower quality in its recording capability even with the quality level in my sound cards control panel set higher (Studio levels for example). It is definitely not as good as the old set of USB Plantronics 400 DSP I used to own.Construction Quality: They feel cheap, while they look good and are light, they feel like they would break very easily and given the design of the headband itself, I believe they should be treated with extra care as to not break them by accident. The solid type molding will make it difficult to repair.Comfort: Here is the flaw in the design of this headset, they are supposed to be designed with comfort in mind - however, the molding on the framing has an open slit in it where the wire was fed into to keep it from being pulled from the earphones/mic (which is a good thing) however the issue here is the molding is left open/cut so when you place the headphones over your ears, the portion of plastic that is open digs into your ear and is sharp feeling which in turn causes the headset to be VERY uncomfortable within 5-10 minutes of wearing them.Voice Recognition: I use Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and wanted to try out the voice recognition. While I cannot expect this headset to perform with the quality of a professional set, they do work with Voice Recognition. I have not trained my PC to my voice yet, so I am going to disregard the mistakes it makes currently with detecting what I am saying 100% and the fact that they are working good so far with some slight misdetected words only means I can improve it further by training the PC to my speech.Remedy for Comfort: Instead of sending them back (since there is nothing really wrong with the headset, I instead took 4 pieces of electrical tape aprox. 1 to 1 1/2 inches long, I then wrapped the portion of the headset that rests over your ears with the tape to close off the opening where the wire sits inside. I have been wearing this headset like this all day now playing one of my MMO's and chatting with friends and without the discomfort I had before. They still could use a ton padding of some sort (which could be found at a hobby shop, etc..) but I am happy with them after the minor alteration.They are easy to use, plug them in, setup your mic/sound volumes on your PC and your good to go. The price is great however and given the slight flaw in design that is easily fixed on your own - the quality of this set overall is good and for a reasonable price.

I use this headset for skype sales calls so I have it on for a very long period of time every day. It works great, I never have any complaints about the sound quality and it is snug but comfortable. I recommend this item very highly.

Let's keep this simple: the Logitech H250 headset is one of the best headsets at this price I've had the pleasure to use. It its nearly ideal for speech over the phone or while gaming, firs nicely and easily, and while the audio loses much of its bass and the speakers aren't perfect, overall audio is crisp and clean.The Logitech H250 headset is basically plug and play for a PC with standard headphone and microphone jacks. Plug both into your laptop and you're ready to roll. Plugging directly into a phone requires an extra Headset Buddy adapter, which is purchased separately, but one you have that it's equally simple to user it with a desk phone in your office.The microphone is impressively clear. I was a little concerned because it feels like it sits far away from the face, but audio records well through it, and anyone I have spoken to using this headset had told me they can't even tell I was using a headset - probably the best thing you can say about it.Sound comes though well in the headphones, though they lose some of the bass richness of music or videos. If you need bass for what you're listening to, then you may want to find a different set. I've found that Philips headsets usually have great bass response. The Logitech headset also had an issue of bleeding siund, so others can hear what your hearing. If you need privacy, noise-cancelling, or if the people around you don't want to hear what you're listening to, then these may not be right for you.For being a reasonably sturdy headset, the Logitech H250 feels remarkably light. I barely notice when I am wearing it. While I personally prefer the behind-the-ear style for headphones, these have never felt uncomfortable or out of place.All in all, the Logitech H250 is a sturdy and quality headset, and I can see myself getting a lot of use out of it.

These are a bit on the lower end but they do the job as gaming headsets. The sound is not bad at all. they feel great and have a decent construction.

This product does what I want it to do. Sound quality is good on this unit, and people can hear me just fine when i talk.Down side, it hurts my ears when I have my glasses on.I would recommend this to everyone.

I'm very happy with this headset. It provides crystal clear sound. When skyping or on a call I never get a comment about poor audio as I did using the computer mic.The behind the head style taks a little getting use to but the secure fit of the earphones is superior to my previous over the head phones.

I purchased these when I got my new tower in order to get into PC gaming. These definitely met my needs when it came to price ($20) and quality. The headphones work great and can get crazy loud and the microphone works fine - not great, but perfectly acceptable. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a cheaper option for PC.

the sound quality was ok... not the greatest not the worst. I wasn't happy with the color rings. My computer is read and so everything in my desk is either black or red. By default, this headset brings the copper rings on it and so I tried changing them to the red pair... well they stuck for a few hours and then he right one came off. I tried several times to put it back in and it didn't work.. I once considered gluing them but by then it was time to replace it because it was no longer noise cancelling.

Excellent Buy, Really Good Sound... but stiil with the grand Headphones problem.... problems with the plug connection btw cable and the headphones itself, low quality conections that start to fail soon or later, after six months still work great but is starting to fail with the conecctions. in it defense.. i'm very tough using it.. i mean, i not care much about be gentle with them... because of this.. i say its a good quality product with the same grand headphones' weakness. the plug conections

Great for gaming and any quick applications. The tone is descent, the volume and mic on/off switch are especially useful. They are light and comfortable.

I don't like how it comes from behind, but I guess that's my fault. The mic works great and the headphones part is also great. I got it for around $6 so it was worth it.

The sound quality is good for its price. However, the headset fits very snug and tight and can get very uncomfortable if worn for an extended period of time.

Arrived broken in the mail. It was inside a bag rather than a plastic package and the headphone was craked open and practically broken. I had to piece it back together and luckily it was salvageable. But the headphone was completely off it's hinges, and the applications for the color piece was broken in the bag. Lucky for me I don't like orange. BAD all around.Other than that it fits well behind the ears, and is made soundly. BUTIT'S LEFT EARED! So the microphone is on the left hand side. That is the only downer as it makes it a bit awkward for me having been used to everything on the right side.Sound quality seems to be a 10 out of 10.Headphone comfort about 8 out of 10 comfortable and breathes well but slightly tight on the upper ear for me.Mic quality about 7 out of 10 Air flow causes statics sounds and feedback slightly. There is no noise cancellation tech built into it.Cabling seems quality though mine had to be re assembled from the packaging disaster. It has 2 jacks that are SILVER and built well.The color applicators are a little cheap and feel like they could fall off or slide out but that hasn't happened yet. You are given a tool to install them with though VERY SMALL.I give this product probably 8 out 10 all totalBut I gave my review a 1 for the shipping because it was practically destroyed on arrival via USPS.

The build is sturdy, and it certainly does what it's supposed to, but the quality just isn't there. For a $20 headset, I guess I got what I paid for. Their PS3 USB headset is amazing, I think I'll go back to that - the sound quality and voice quality were much better.

This product meets my expectations perfectly. There is one minor problem. This is difficult to explain. The plastic pieces fit together in such a way that as my head moves the headset squeaks or clicks. I became accustomed to this after a day or two.

I just purchased this headset, opened it up and took it out of the plastic, and discovered that it has 2 jacks on it when I was trying to purchase a USB headset... the ad isn't very clear with it, and I got it under recommendation from Rosetta Stone for a simple headset, and it's not compatible with my Macbook... so I'm stuck with it- it's not returnable, and if I'd not opened the box, it still would cost more than it's worth just to send it back. Disappointed, and now own a $30+ paperweight.

I replaced an older, cheaper Logitech, that was flimsy and broke. I wanted one similar, with the volume control,which this has. It also has a clip on the control that makes it easier to find when I need to adjust the sound. The head band is sturdier, the earphones are larger and more comfortable.I like that the mike will rotate either way so I can switch sides if I want. Altogether a good purchase.
