I use this headset mainly for skyping with friends in Australia. Also use it for watching stuff online that everyone else in the room doesn't want to hear. I usually get irritated by gadgets like this because they are uncomfortable on my ears or head after a short time but this headset with foam for the top the head and light pressure on the ears is very comfortable. No learning curve as I just plugged it in and started using it. The volume control on the cord is a must and the separate switch for instant muting is a big plus. The noise-cancelling mic does seem to cut out any background conversations in the room. The mic can be rotated to use on either side of your head. I have already knocked this headset in the floor twice when I wasn't using it but it didn't suffer any damage. The sound is decent. Not too tinny. Overall a nice product at a good price.

I was looking for a comfortable and a good quality headset, and I have found the right one. The mic works fine and the sound quality is also fine. The price is also reasonable for the product. I am satisfied with the headsets.

very good mic and head set, I have a smaller head for a guy and this fits well, after turning up the windows mic input works fantastic. Play a few games using teamspeak , skype and vent. No problems

Works Perfect with my games, and i am able to chat online with my peers.I have about 5 games and in every one it works great. After a while though my ears hurt ,but all in all it is a good product

I will not recomend this product. I ordered four of them and at first only three worked, then a week later another one went down. These are the cheapest headsets I have ever bought. I run a call room so I go through a lot.Good LuckEric

I ordered using amazon prime and got the headset in mail in two days. For the price I paid, it doesn't look cheap like other headsets in market for the same price. And...the sound quality is fantastic.

This is my second set of this model, after having one in my laptop bag for a while I decided to get these as a non USB option for my desktop machine. The only issue I really have is the newer one's mic boom doesn't like to stay where I put it, it seems to only want to stick in a couple positions. It isn't a real issue for being heard but it does make me a tab bit uncomfortable not having the mic right where I want it. The custom color inserts are a nice touch but really not needed. It isn't super comfy for hours of use but nothing I can't deal with.

The Logitech Stereo Headset H250 is an inexpensive combination of stereo headphones and a noise canceling microphone. The headset is lightweight and reasonably comfortable. The speakers lie flat on the ear, allowing for a wide open sound -- not infrequently I find myself wondering if what I'm hearing comes from the headphones alone, or from my computer speakers as well. The sound doesn't have the richness or detail that you expect from expensive headphones, but it's still OK for listening to music and more than acceptable for other purposes like making Internet telephone calls. The noise canceling microphone seems to be of reasonable quality. I used it to add a narration to a short video clip, and it was fine. I also used it with Windows Speech Recognition, and it was a big improvement over the microphone built into my webcam and the cheap stick microphone I had used before. If you're going to do serious speech recognition, however, you probably want to get a headset designed for that purpose. (Logitech doesn't even mention speech recognition in their product description.)Bottom line: A good quality, no frills headset for general use.Note: Only the microphone is noise canceling, not the headphones; they're not going to make an airplane sound like a quiet room. Also, only the headphones are stereo, not the microphone.

I bought this headset on a whim after encountering static and bad noise cancelling issues with the Logitech Usb desktop mic. My main focus was to find a mic that would allow me to clearly record with my dragon naturally speaking software. To my surprise this headset preforms perfectly and it's not an expensive headset. (got it for $30)I'm completely satisfied with my purchase as i just plugged it in & it was ready to record. Dragon Naturally picked up everything clear so i can honestly give this mic a 2 thumbs up for great value and being a solid product.

Cons: Lasted me 5 months before dying completely. I keep my peripherals in supreme condition (Computer built in 2008 still running strong in 2011), but these headsets are really fragile and seem to have a really limited running time. The sound is decent, but the buds don't cover your entire ear so noise does get in. The headband is really flimsy so be careful when handling it.Pros: The volume control on the wire is very convenient and the mic isn't too bad, though if you're using Mumble, ventrilo or skype your friends and teammates will notice background noise when you speak and sometimes you won't be able to hear others talking if your mic is on. I guess the quality is poor.Conclusion: If you're on a budget then these headsets are okay, but invest $30 more and you could get a Siberia V2, which I'm using right now.

For 20$, these are a solid deal. The headphone are comfortable, the microphone is flexible and rotates, the sound quality is good, and I've heard no complaints about the voice quality when I'm gaming.I have had some issues with the actual headphone pieces falling off the plastic frame, but each time I can insert them back in with no problem. They've lasted me about six months so far without any major issues.I would really recommend spending another 10-20$ for better headphones, but if you're looking for something cheap that does the job, these will do it. I'll definitely be upgrading in the future, though.

I am a hardcore gamer and i have had everything from disposable mics to high end turtle beach. I found these to be very comfortable. However, i am a girl with a small physique and my husband had a hard time wearing them as his head is bigger and i would imagine this would be a problem for most men. Just something to keep in mind. Otherwise the sound coming in is great. I use vent and team speak and everything sounds nice and i am told i am clear and best of all no background noise! they are definably worth $20 but i would not pay any more for them. Overall i am happy i purchased them and i highly recommend them!

These seem to be well made for the price, and I like the sound quality and clarity of the speakers. I called my sister on Skype, and the unit did the job. The cord is six feet long with two color-coded plugs for speakers and microphone. The cord has a volume and mic mute control with a clip to attach it to your clothing, but the mute button is way too hard to slide.Unfortunately, I don't think I could wear these for long without becoming irritated by the pressure and the itchy foam covers on the speakers. I also don't think this thin foam will last long. I'm not a gamer and don't have voice recognition software, so I have limited application for this product. I don't want to lower the rating for what might be personal hypersensitivity; I'm therefore giving his product four stars with the assumption that the itch issue will not arise for many others. But for me personally, I probably won't use these unless I absolutely have to. It feels too good when I take them off.

I have purchased several headsets and this one seems to have gotten it right with the right blend of quality with low pricing to give it the best value. I would recommend the product. My head size is larger than most so wearing this over the entire day did make it a little uncomfortable on my ears. I ended up boiling some water and putting the wrap around band in it for about a minute to help stretch it out and reshape it for a larger head size. I really like one the extra long cord too with the built-in volume/mute control.

I purchased this product and had it used it 10 times at most to make short phone calls via google voice. Microphone stopped working at that point. I returned it and exchanged it for a new pair. It worked once and then mic failed again. I had purchased it at Best Buy and when I went in the first time, the associate told me she had bought the exact same model and the mic never worked her not even once. Terrible product! Do not purchase! I will mention that when it worked, quality was great. But I would not purchase it never knowing when the mic will give out.

I had read the reviews for this product prior to buying it, so I guess it's my own fault that I'm now returning it. So far I've only used it for listening to music, and immediately I noticed what at least one other reviewer stated... the bass is lacking. The bass is really non-existent. The headset I'm replacing (due to a broken adjuster) has much better bass. If you value bass in your music, do not buy this headset! I did not get to use it for microphone operations (Skype, etc), so I can not say what that quality is like. But the poor bass and overall sound quality (too tinny) is enough for me to pay the $8 shipping to return it.Also, another reviewer complained about the foam pad on the headstrap messed up their hair. Well, I can atest to that too. I keep my hair very short, and even still, after wearing this for a few hours, my hair where the pad was sticking straight up.Overall, very unhappy with this purchase. :(

The headset works great, sounds good etc. The mic is in a poor location for me. In addition the band connecting the 2 ear pieces is not very comfortable. The sound quality both and pick up are good for gaming as well as VOIP calling. If there was a 3.5 that is where it is, I had a Plantronics before that fit better but he mic was not as good. For this price range this is a good product and would recommend it. The 2 connector setup works well for my computer but I think this also limits the available options.

This product did not work from the start. The headset is incredibly small and flimsy. I was very disappointed with this purchase and the quality, not even worth it at this price. Do not buy this.

Sound: Jumping right in, do not expect surround sound quality or anything superb or amazing out of this headset. It is simple stereo sound, and is good for only speaking with friends. Nothing more or less.Comfort: Not comfortable at all. I could only wear it for maybe a half hour without getting sore near around my ears.Mic: This is the saving grace of this headset. The Mic easily picks up on your voice, and I even had to adjust it at times that way I would not be too loud when talking with friends. The mic is very nice.With only the mic being of nice usage on this headset, I would recommend going for something else. The lack of comfort and sound is a bitter annoyance, and only goes to show what cheap products can be sold. I give this product a 2 out of 5.

I had thought that this headset would be a good one to get because it was cheap, but I found out that when they say cheap they mean it. The sound quality was good until around two weeks. The first one I got I just moves my head and the speaker snapped right off. The next one I bought a wire came lose inside the cord going to the speaker. Not sure if this would be a product I would ever recommend for use. The other bad thing about them is that they don't stay in the jacks for nothing. I move away from my laptop a little and they just pop right out of the jacks. Not the greatest product from Logitech.

I was looking to replace a set of Logitech USB headphones that I love at a reasonable price. The set needed to be mini phone jacks, not USB and the price reasonably low. I purchased these because I've generally had good luck with Logitech products and really love the USB headphones I have. The headphones are good for the price with three caveats: 1) the bass response is not wonderfull -- since I use with a computer, things sound a bit tinny, 2) the headphones are easily overloaded -- with so many things being at different volume levels, this can be problematic; and 3) the volume control is a bit awkward to use.That said, they are well worth the price and have performed well. I would recommend them with the above caveats.

I bought these so that I could Skype with my boyfriend while he is on an extended business trip. I chose this headset because it was in a lower price range, but still had decent reviews. I paid $5 extra to have these over a Dynex pair with bad reviews. I have used these for a total of about 3 to 4 hours on Skype since I got them two days ago. I can comment about the sound quality & fit, not the durability - however, I don't plan on traveling with them, do not have kids, and I will only use them periodically, so I do not have a "challenging environment" for this product.Right out of the box, all you need to do is plug the mic and headphone jacks, and you are ready to go. I have a small head, so the band around the back could have been adjustable, but once I got them on and played with it, it was decently comfortable, although you don't forget you are wearing them. For videochat, it is nice to not have the "headgear" look. The set comes with 3 colors of plastic decorative pieces to put on the set, which I think would please younger users, not really sure.The "mute" switch and volume adjustment are both handy, and the cord is very long - almost too long, I am a little worried about it getting caught, stepped on, etc.The sound quality was excellent and everyone I've spoken to can hear me loud and clear. I suppose the fit could be a tad less awkward if there was an adjustment on the band, but I have a very small head, and I really don't care that much since I will not be wearing them for extended periods at a time. Overall, I am pleased with the set, glad I chose it

When I purchased this item it said new item fulfilled by amazon, what I received was a sealed box with a torn open plastic bag inside with the obviously worn by residue from someone's ears headset along with a couple of the color discs with a couple more missing from some guy (not Amazon). It's obvious that the person selling this was trying to get full price for his used junk. Sent it back for a refund from Amazon, wont buy from again.

Great item, works perfect for my needs. I bought it because I am learning a language and need to record my answers. It goes behind the head and is sleek. The earpieces have three colors to swap between and the microphone swivels and picks up the voice crystal clear. It has more features than I need, like the option to turn off the mic and adjust the headphone volume both in line. The mic feature would be useful if you atelier talking online and need to talk without the person hearing. Besides that it is plug and play, just plug in the two color coded 3.5 mm jacks and start nothing needs to be installed.

These headsets are great for Skyping. I'm on my 3rd set now. I use them when I deploy to talk to my wife. I just usually lose them whenever i get back home. Good thing is that they are cheap enough to replace. I have never had any problem out of these. They are ideal for what I use them for.

This is a good product and it performed as advertised. Its great for listening to music and VoIP phone calls. The features are nice: long cord, volume roller and mute switch. We bought this headset for use in Ventrillo and WoW. I haven't had it six months yet, and have always hung it on a hook I added to my computer desk to keep it safe. The weight of the volume control has loosened the internal wiring so much that it frequently goes dead and I find myself smacking my chest where I've clipped it to the neck of my shirt.Cords too short to accurately be a "waist" clip between the actual ear piece and the clip itselfVolume control doesn't work now that the wires are looseHaving to grab it and mess with it frequently ruins the experience.Microphone doesn't have much of a range of motion, gets in the wat when u try to flip it up out of the way to take a drink, if you have even slightly long hair you can't rotate it down without getting caught in your hair.I guess we got what we paid for, but we'll be looking for something better as soon as we have the money.

I'm a big fan of the H230 and was looking to purchase a few more. These units were labeled new but came in an unsealed bag, obviously used (by the hair attached to the ear pads) and in general disarray. Heading back to Amazon now, huge ripoff!

The best feature about these headphones is that they sit on your head, instead of inside your hear, and you can adjust the volume on the cord itself. I love this headset.Pros: (1) can adjust the volume on the cord, instead of the computer speakers; (2) very clear sound; (3) cord is long; and (4) the headset is comfortableCons: none at this timeWould I recommend? You see the strip of padding at the top of the headset in the picture? Well, if you're female (or male with long hair), the first thing you will want to do is rip that sucker off. I am pretty sure I have developed a few bald spots due to my hair getting stuck in it over and over again. THANKFULLY, removing the strip left no sticky residue, just clean plastic. What's left of my hair should be padding enough to keep me comfortable. Thanks Logitech for your excellent hair removal product. If that were its only use, I would give it 5 stars, because it surely did the job well. Ouch.

This product is disappointing in some ways. One of the foam ear pieces constantly falls off and it is difficult to get it back on with the intentions of it staying put!! The sound quality is not bad, but the microphone seems too far away from your mouth to be able to speak clearly. I would not order this again!

Got mine today. I absolutely need to have a microphone that records without background noise, as I use it for an on-line language course. This one does the job. It has great sound quality, both for listening and recording. You can also easily adjust the volume. Adjusting the volume is a must with the laptop I have, because to adjust it, I have to click on this & that, and this is quite annoying when switching from a submission from one person to another, as the volume varies. It also has an on/off switch.I have tried 3 or 4 other microphones, and not one was satisfactory, but this is perfect for me.

I bought two of these headsets, one for me, one for the hubby. Both have made their way into the trash. The sound is what you would expect but there is a lot of downfalls to this product. First after wearing it for about 30 mins, it starts to indent and hurt the area it sits above your ears. Then the foam covers (ohhh how I hate those) once they fall off, I promise there is no way to easily get them back on without destroying them. Don't let the ability to choose the color on the headset get you too glossy eyed-they are also a pain to get off so if you buy this, choose wisely the first time. Good price, average sound, badddd construction!!!

Headset came quickly but minus parts. It was supposed to have multiple colors to change to, I got 1 orange ear and the black ones that were attached. So I'm missing 1 orange, 2 blues, and 2 reds. It works though, and I like the volume and mute on the cord

My seven and eight year olds love to Skype with their BFF in Houston. Seriously, I know - but these headphones are such great quality - the sound is brilliant, rich and perfect. They also play mathblaster and mangahigh using them because I can NOT stand the extra noise. Mic is great - but the headphone quality is BOSE like, no joke. The one small downside - if you have a GIANT cranium, these are going to be a tight fit. Other than that, plug and play and PERFECT.

I just bought one of these at Walmart about 45 minutes ago. I was careful to note on the box that it plainly says "compatible with Mac OS." So I bought it, brought it home and started setting it up, started voice chatting with a friend to test it out. The headphones worked fine. Not the best quality, but certainly passable. But for the life of me I could not get the mic to work. After about 15 minutes of messing with it, I've determined that the mic is simply incompatible with the Mac OS. The machine doesn't realize that there's anything in the line in, none of my programs will acknowledge that there's an external mic present, nothing. And naturally once I start searching online, all I find is further proof of my discovery: the mic just won't work with Mac OS.So don't buy this if you have a Mac, simple as that.

These are a nice, lightweight, functional set of headphones. Not expensive and they do the job.But I had a problem. The foam pieces that cover the earpieces were a bit loose, and one fell off and disappeared - I suspect chewed up by one of my dogs.I contacted Logitech via their website, and they started a live chat. After establishing the problem, they said my headset was still under warranty, and they are sending me a new set, without requiring me to send my old one back. So even though the foam pieces aren't great, they win kudos on customer service!Highly recommend, both for that, and the functionality of the item.

The LogiTech H250 Stereo Headset is a really good basic set of headpones. The audio quality is good, the headphones are comfortable and the microphone produced clear sound - without sounding like you were doing a Darth Vader impression or standing in an echo chamber. The input jacks are color-coded for audio and microphone. Overall I found the headphones solid and well-built. They are definitely in the sweet spot for value and performance.

I really like using these. They have a wonderful sound and comfort leval, although any like this can get hot for a very long use for some people, these did not bother me that way. My husband likes to listen to music on the computer most mornings, and I like to read so it allows us to do both and not be disturbed. They are a reasonable price that won't break your pocketbook and have a great sound, so I would highly recommend them.

Jumped on a Skype call to Singapore, plugged these into a 15" MacBook Pro, and had a great chat. They're perfect in that they just fade into the background. Exactly what you want from a tool like this.Plus: Noise canceling was great (there was a construction truck dropping supplies off at a neighbor's). They were able to hear me fine, and the padded earphones isolated me a bit from my environment.
