Although they tend to give me a headache if I'm not wearing them exactly right, they have awesome sound and are comfortable (if I'm wearing them correctly).... I've always been a fan of Logitech and will continue to use the headphones in the near future.

I bought four of these, it came in crappy packaging. Everything was just thrown into a plastic wrap. It looks used, and the one even has a bend head part.

I bought one of these and had no trouble for about 3 months. After that, the left speaker started going out. A couple weeks later, the right one started going out too. The only way I could hear out of them is if I kept holding it at awkward positions. I decided to go ahead and get another one and figured it'd be better. The exact same thing happened. So far I've used 3 headsets from Logitech and none of them have lasted very long. Save your money and get a decent pair from a different company.

I have owned several of these items over the past year. They are lightweight, reasonably comfortable, appropriate to the task (i.e. chatting/ calling/ listening from a computer), and inexpensive. They can be kept on for multiple hours on a row - although they are not suitable for use non-stop everyday all day. They also have another important attribute: they fit a child's head. My children, age 5 and 12, can use them comfortably to watch a movie in the car on a laptop, call friends on Skype etc. When listening to music, they will not provide you with symphonic experience, but they are good enough to listen to Pandora as needed a few hours a day.Where they fail is in robustness: 3 pairs have failed in our household in the past 18 months. Like all other behind-the-ear sets, they are flimsy and fragile. They break very easily, being sat on, falling on the ground, the wire being caught under your chair etc. On the other hand, I must have now owned more than 15 headsets, and these are no worse than the many other lightweight headsets I have owned- with one exception. I have found the Skype Everyman headset (available for a moderate $30) to be more robust, more comfortable, and with a better sound quality. On the other hand, the Everyman is not a behind-the-ear model, it is heavier and does not fit a child's head.As the poor construction of this product is matched by that of every other behind-the-ear headset I have owned, I still recommend it, as long as the user understands that this is a consumable product that is unlikely to be long lasting.

I needed to buy this item as a requirement for a college class, and was looking for a deal on it. I was hesitant to purchase online, but I found this good deal and figured I might as well try. It was sent very quickly after I ordered it and is exactly what I expected it to be. I don't really know how to describe the quality of the item as I have not yet really used it and I don't know much about it, but I tried it out on my laptop and it worked. I definitely recommend this seller!

The most uncomfortable headphones I have ever worn. If you feel the need to do penance or the equivalent of self-flagellation these would then work. Save your money.

I bought this head set sometime in Feb 2010 in replacement to some cheap $10 1 ear headset.When looking for headsets, I wanted one that was less than $30 and was behind the head type. This headset was both, and was Logitech!Sound quality is not OMG Amazing! but it does the job. My friends have not complained about the mic quality, however they do notice when I do not have it directly in front of my mouth. The cord is nice and long. Really too long for me. I find it very comfortable to wear, it just sits on top of my ears, however I have heard that it is uncomfortable for some. But for me, its fine.The placement of the mic is too close to my face really. I sometimes want to eat/drink while wearing it and if I forget to move the mic, I am unable to eat or drink. Also the places that the mic can be moved to are both very awkward. You don't want to move it up cause it would look like you have an antenna but you also don't want to move it downwards cause it sticks out so far!I was pretty rough on this headset (6-8 hrs a day sometimes) and recently it broke in July 2010. Didn't have any more sound coming out of the right headphone. I would twist the cord around and sometimes it would make sound but it wouldnt work for long. Best I can think is the wiring/connections will come lose rather easily.However! I looked on Logitech's site to see if it was covered under a warranty and it is. TWO years! The process to also get a replacement sent was simple. I simply had to show proof of purchase and about a week later I had a new headset.

Logitech ClearChat Style/Stereo Headset H230I purchased these to communicate via Office Communicator on a laptop. These work great, they fit my head nicely, they are very sensitive and most importantly, they are easy to use.

there is no USB connector on this headset, only pins. I will try this USB connector Syba SD-CM-UAUD USB Stereo Audio Adapter, C-Media Chipset, RoHS to see if the headset will work just as well, so that the cords will not stick out the front of my laptop anymore. I further customized the "personalized color" donuts by using metallic nailpolish on a set of donuts. ha.FOLLOW_UP: bought this Syba SD-CM-UAUD USB Stereo Audio Adapter, C-Media Chipset, RoHS and the USB dongle works fine. however be aware the price of the headset + price of the USB dongle is nearly equal to a headset that already comes with the dongle. I guess if the dongle breaks hopefully you can still use the pins.

I liked the price on this, and wanted to try the over the ears, behind the neck style to see how I liked it. It took a bit of getting used to, but now I like it just fine. I was very pleased with the sound quality of this item at first- but like the other two Logitech headsets I bought previously, I am already having issues with this one only about a month or so after buying it. I'm getting a loud squeak/feeback from the mic now when I say something that has a sibilant sound. At first it was only every once in awhile, but try as I may to adjust the location of the mic, it has continued and seems to be getting worse. I had hoped trying a different model of Logitech headsets would work out better, as the cheaper two that I bought proved to be very disappointing as well- the mic quit working on them within 3 months. I do not think I will be buying Logitech headsets again.

I do a lot of international conference calls from home using Skype and this headset works perfectly for my needs. People on the other end of the calls can hear me well & do not get the "heavy breathing" effect that can often be present with headsets. Overall it's a great value for the price

These headphones work just like any other combined microphone / headphone. The in-cable controls have a volume dial and a microphone mute switch.The headphone fit is very tight for me (an adult male) and it's uncomfortable to wear the headphones for longer than a minute or two. It might be fine for children, but look for something else if you have an adult sized head.

After several days of reading reviews and comparing prices and features, I decided to try out this little headset. I bought the first one from Best Buy in July and in less than a month the mic stopped working. I checked my computer and the program I had been using and nothing was wrong with them. I also tried a different stand-alone mic with the same program and it worked fine so I assumed it had to be the headset itself. I took it back to Best Buy and they exchanged it with no problems. I decided it might have been a fluke and got the same headset again hoping that it would last much longer. Last night, a month and a half later - with no warning or signs that there was a looming breakdown - the mic has stopped working again. Now, I know that if you mishandle or abuse any product it will eventually crap out. This thing was treated like glass every time I used it and safely tucked away when I wasn't using it. I think it's safe to say that there is something flawed in Logitech's design. Today, I brought back the second headset and asked for store credit to pick out a different model altogether. I'm trying out the Plantronics gamer headset now with fingers crossed. I liked the Logitech headset at first, but having to take it back every month is not cool.

it's been 6 month since i had this head set.i beat the hell out of it, my chair rolls over the wire, i drop this thing consistently and take it to work and home and it still works great.sound quality is decent, the mic could lose the noise canceling thing, cause some folks have told me i am sound like i am in a fish bowl etci use this head set for gaming, personal and business voice chat and it gets the job done, so overall a pretty dam good head set for the price.

The microphone produced loud static which makes it useless for gaming. The speakers on the headset did not work at all. Not even a good paperweight at this point.

Sounds good, but not adjustable as to tension against your ears, and I find it a little too tight after an hour or so. Good value for the money, but I believe there must be better (more expensive) headphones out there.

I bought this headset as a gift for my boyfriend because he plays WOW. He loves it and says its the best present he's ever gotten. I ordered it and it was affordable, but it arrived days before it was supposed to. The quality is great. it looks great and half the time he forgets he is wearing it.

Our family purchased several of these because of an emerging need to conduct VOIP calls (using Skype). These headphones worked nicely on a desktop, a netbook and two laptop computers. Both the incoming (through the headphones) and outgoing (from the microphone) voice quality were high.For music, the sound was acceptable; not the best I've ever heard from a pair of computer headphones, but good enough for hardware in this price range (and if the source music is from .mp3 files, even high end headphones probably aren't going to add much to the experience).The only real shortcoming with this product is with the markings on the dual 3.5mm plugs. The mic and earphones icons should have been embossed in white. Instead, they are black on black; hard to read most of the time and nearly impossible in low light. This increases the likelihood that you will plug them into the wrong jacks (and you will).I didn't encounter the comfort complaints that other reviewers identified. No comfort issues here for phone calls of 30 minutes or less and for up to an hour of listening to music.Note: Amazon prices are SIGNIFICANTLY lower than what I found in two brick and mortar stores.

I was looking for a headset to plug into my Cisco IP phone. Since I like the Logitech brand I decided to give this headset a try. I studied the specifications carefully since there are so many variations on the market. I also viewed the product illustration (picture). Based on the description and picture I was led to believe that the headset could be plugged into a telephone. When I received the headset I discovered that it was designed to plug into a PC's speaker and mic port. Needless to say - it would not work for me. I strongly suggest that they show the connector type as part of the illustration to avoid people like me from purchasing the wrong product.

This is a really great set if you don't use it that much. This is the second set I've owned, and they've both failed in exactly the same way. I thought the first set deteriorated because of my overuse of the built-in volume/mute control, but this second set has really tanked in exactly the same way. First, the right headphone begins to fail, then the whole thing will alternate between really soft and really loud.However, they are comfortable and great while they last.

When I first tried the mic would pick up everything except my voice. Eventually it finally started working all right.There's a huge static problem with them. When the mic cable is plugged in so much static comes through the earphones. And then turning the mic switch on makes it so much worse. Probably the worst headset I have ever used.

I bought this for my boyfriend for christmas, turns out it doesnt fit his head haha. So I kept it for myself for skype and whatever else I can use it for. So far it has worked flawlessly, it's easy to use for the people out there who arn't techsmart, and I love how the band goes across the back of the head instead of on top of the head like most head phones.

This product is what is expected of Logitech, Works like a charm. Great quality of sound incoming and outgoing. The only problem that I personally have with it is the length of the microphone, which should at least be adjustable lengthwise. I cannot talk loudly enough in a quiet environment in order to be heard.Another small thing would be that the speaker and microphone jacks should be labeled clearer, but it is a small issue, that takes 2 seconds more to figure out where to plug in what.

Let me just say that I've had this headset for about a year now. The thing stopped working like 4-5 months ago as many cheap headsets like this one do. When I first got it, the headset was VERY uncomfortable. It started hurting my ears as well because I wear glasses. After some time it shaped itself better to my head but my ears still hurt from this. The sound quality is good and I mainly used it for chatting while gaming, skype, watching a movie, or listening to music.This is a very cheap headset, please do not buy into other peoples reviews as you will regret it a few weeks after your purchase (if not sooner). You can find a better bang for your buck deal somewhere else. Some reviews say "great for kids" and that's another reason not to buy it. The kid will use it, it breaks, and you have to buy them another one. Just spend an extra $20 on a headset that will last you a few years. This is not a good purchase.

Note that this is a behind the head unit: if your head isn't exactly the right size, it is going to slip down right away. It is all plastic, so there is no metal to bend in the band that goes behind your head, meaning you cannot tighten or loosen it at all. To stay on your head, this requires tension, which it doesn't have because it is too flimsy. (Maybe it hooks over somebody's ears, but not mine!)The mic can only swivel--it does not adjust lengthwise at all.Sound quality is just ok.The little control device feels like it is made of plastic about as cheap as the packaging.Good luck carrying this in a laptop case or backpack without breaking it.Complete waste, in my opinion.

I bought this one due to its price and immediately realized that the quality of sound is not that great. ONce you use it everyone around you can hear the voice very clearly. So beware when you talk to someone on chat or something .. ;)

I just received this headset with mic and found the sound quality is great for an inexpensive headset. It does fit behind the head but for me it's seems a little big. It does stay on comfortably, I just wished I could adjust the neck band in a few notches but I still like this headset for the price and I will be doing Skype with my sisters and I know I will need to be comfortable talking and talking... to my sisters.

I have owned four of these and none of them lasted more than 6 months. The left earphone on each of them started malfunctioning and eventually died. The mic also died on two. A very common complaint for this model and several others made by Logitech. (see other reviews on Amazon and the Logitech homepage)This is very unfortunate since this headset fit me well and the mic was good... while it lasted, of course.This headset comes with a 2 year warranty, but don't bother trying to get a replacment from Logitech. I have sent 2 emails to support and I've been waiting on a response for nearly 2 weeks now. The only response I got was an automated one that said my email had been received and I should expect a response within one business day. I have come to the conclusion that they either don't have anybody working there or my emails were sent directly to the recycle bin. Logitech won't respond when you need support, but they will definitely take your money!If you enjoy spending money on a new headset every few months, purchase a Logitech one. As I said, I like this particular model, but I highly reccomend giving your money to another company.

It is just worth the money spent. Its been a month and I have not faced any problem so far. The only disadvantage is the comfort-level. Can wear it for an hour or 2 , but later it starts pinching on your ears. It actually have a comparatively smaller ear still I feel the pinching. If comfort-level is the MOST IMPORTANT aspect you are looking at then I wont recommend this product, else this product is awesome.

This headset looks pretty good and works pretty well, but it is a "cheap" headset. Also, they are very uncomfortable on the ears. I cannot wear them for more than an hour at a time.

I bought this headset about a week ago. They look nice and the sound quality is great. The only issue i had was with me...and my big head. They pull on my ears so much that it turns them red after a short time. So to those of you with big heads i recommend buying something else. Other than that, the microphone, sound quality and look was great.

I bought this so I can gmail chat with my girlfriend. It works, haha no need to install anything, and the sound quality is crisp. Nothing more to say, a product that does what it says it does at a low price, looks quite nice and is customizable. Can't ask for more without paying more.

I dont know if it's the shape of my head or what, but the groove going down the length of the headband from one earphone to the other (carrying the wire) leaves imprints on the back of my ears, making it very bothersome to wear for long periods.

Normally logitech makes a good quality product, this one is not. It transmits everything that i heard on the speakers, weather the listening end was plugged in or not. And construction was poor, it fell off the desk and broke the end of the micro phone off.

I currently have 2 of these not because the first one broke but because the first one ROCKED and my roommate (a MAC user) stole it. I got this headset about 6months ago and it is still working and I can say I didn't treat it nice nor does the new owner. The size is fine, the style it fine, the sound never complain, and the mic never complain. It dose connect via 3.5 audio in and out, not via USB but it says that in the specs. It is a Logitech product and I don't think they can make something bad. For everyone that is having issues, remember with most electronic the user is usually the issue. If you are debating on getting this headset, don't worry read the spec and if you have a mac or pc it works! Happy gaming!

I first purchased a pair of these at a local Walmart in late 2008. December '09 the microphone had died on the headset. None of the stores had this headset in stock, so here I am at Amazon.Purchased a new set of these, and the microphone was DoA, earpieces worked fine however. I was then send a second set which I am currently using, hoping the mic won't fail on me anytime soon.I have a rather large head, and the headphones were a bit too snug at first, but it is like a baseball mitt, you have to break them in. After a couple days of use the plastic bends itself into place so that they aren't as tight.From personal experience, other reviewers here, and posts on the official Logitech forum, it seems this model is notorious for the microphone dying. It's a shame, because I have used a few different brands of headsets, and I loved how this headset gave the best audio quality for this price range using VoIP software.10/27/2010 edit:Headset has now lost sound out of the left earpiece. Very frustrating..gonna suck it up and just buy a pair of G330s

this headset fits nicely and is comfortable for extended wear. it seems a bit flimsy though. already had a little issue with sound in one earpiece. overall i think it is good for the money, but much better out there for a few bucks more.

This headset is very nice, it came quickly and was packaged very well. My only problem with them is they are not a USB headset. Now I didn't see anything to say that they were or were not USB connected and I did Assume that they Were (you know what they say about assuming!!). But they only have jacks to plug into the back of your sound card. So if you want to use them for gaming and still have your speakers working.... forget it. They have to plug into the speaker jack on the computer.The images that are available do not show the plugs either.Had I known that they were not USB I wouldn't have gotten them.I had gotten another set of Logitech Clear Chat USB enabled headsets about a month ago and the mic stopped working. Now I have another set that I can use, but can't use them how I want to use them.Just thought I was say my two cents on them.
