- + К сожалению не смог оценить достоинства, так как товар не выполняет своих функций, а заявленный чистый звук является маркетинговой уловкой.
- - Не смотря на то, что гарнитура является USB-устройством со своим трактом оцифровки, фильтрация шумов не осуществляется. Я провёл детальное исследование шумов устройства на трёх различных компьютерах и двух операционных системах и уровень шума (hum & buzz) находится вне пределов допустимого. Послушать запись...

Звук, как по мне, вполне неплохой, что у наушников, что у микрофона.
Удобная кнопка для выключения микрофона, постоянно пользуюсь на рабочих созвонах, когда 15 человек одновременно общается, чтобы выключать, когда не говоришь. - - Немного твердоваты, если сидеть в них 4-5 часов непрерывно - уши начинают побаливать.
У старого экземпляра с работы появилась небольшая трещина на кабеле с полгода назад. На всякий случай мотнул пару витков лейкопластыря - пока что всё хорошо, кабель...

- Работают у меня уже 5 лет - - - Полное отсутствие шумоподавления. Хотя многие в отзывах его нахваливают, но простите, когда собеседник прекрасно слышит как вы клацаете по клавишам, щелкаете мышью и всех ваших коллег за соседними столами - это называется отсутствие шумоподавления )
- Это уже не та модель!...

Отличные наушники,не смотря на то что есть переходник,желательно иметь звуковую карту среднего класса*Звук отличный,дизайн интересный(у razer конечно лучше,но по функционалу эти в+)длинный кабель,качество.Для игр самое оно,фильмы то же неплохо)

+ Хороший звук. Виртуальное 3Д работает нормально. Хороший поворотный микрофон. Большие амбошуры.- Огромный минус: узкое и жесткое оголовье, вызывает боль после 15 минут на голове. Именно из-за него и надо оторвать руки конструктору. Такие вещи отработаны десятки лет назад.По сравнению со "старшим братом" G430 убрано много ненужных функций: G-кнопки на ухе, изменение голоса. Амбошуры стали тканевыми и съемными. Как оказалось, сменные оголовья не такое уж и ненужное излишество. Исчезнувшие, но полезные функции: автовыключение микрофона при повороте и кнопка вкл/выкл 3Д режима.

I got the Logitech H230 a few months back even after reading the reviews regarding its comfort. The first thing I did was try it on. It was very constricting and thus very uncomfortable after only a few minutes. I then stretched it over a box or something similar that was more than twice as wide as my head to "tame" it some, and had some success while I did other things. I decided that I didn't like the relatively slow rate at which the much too snug fit was lessening (though it definitely was), so I sped things along by turning the headset "inside out" and in short order had loosened it to a much too loose fit, at which point I contracted it again and the fit was much better. After a while it really wasn't uncomfortable at all and I forgot about that aspect of it.I wouldn't remove stars for the above issue but the mic began to fail and become staticky. Considering that I didn't damage it and that the headphones themselves were still working fine I do not attribute this issue to anything I did. I initially thought it may be my computer case--it was old and had some wear and tear and there were a few issues with the front audio ports--however I got a new case (as I had intended irrespective of the headset problems) and the issue persisted. I then opened another headset (Koss CS100) that I had ordered the same time that I ordered these that I didn't need but had decided not to return to Amazon*. The mic issue disappeared and people I gamed with stopped saying things like "are you in front of a fan?" and "stop mumbling" and other statements that became more and more frequent over time until the headset's mic was virtually useless.* I ordered the Logitech and Koss in one order, but the Koss was for someone else. After deciding shipping it to them myself was silly I created a new order to ship directly to them and tried to cancel the Koss in the original. I couldn't cancel, and instead of shipping it back when it arrived I just kept it.I have had great experiences with Logitech and this incident probably won't change my inclination to look at Logitech products first for many of the categories of products they make, but I am pretty certain I will not get this particular inexpensive product again.Since I do like it when others mention what sort of products they use instead of the one you're looking at I will add that not only is the Koss more comfortable and more well-received by the people I game with, but that the person I ordered it for has been using it for as long as I was using the Logitech and not only did they appreciate the gift but they never had any issues. Also I always heard them clearly when we gamed together.Another small thing I don't like about the Logitech is that both of the 3.5mm jacks are black; the only industry-standard color-coding for the plugs are colored bands on the jack itself. If you're in a dim room gaming and need your headset and it isn't plugged in at all you're not going to be able to just grab one of the plugs and be able to as easily discern which is which like you would if they were like most plugs I've seen and fully green or pink. It's a tiny issue but as long as I'm complaining about how this product failed me I might as well be thorough.I should probably say some nice things about the product since it's quite obvious not everyone has a mic that self-destructs on them. As I said, the issue of comfort can be ameliorated very easily. The headphone audio is decent. I do like that there is a volume wheel (the Koss lacks one). I'm not aware if headphones with wires extending from both earpieces rather than one are better in terms of durability or not but I do know that the single cord is easier to deal with and I liked that as well.Additional note: this has nothing to do with the product specifically but some of you may be less computer-savvy and should know that on some operating systems, with some programs, automatic adjustment of the microphone volume might be the default setting (or even be the only setting) and in those cases you may find that to be the reason people are saying they can't hear you or that the volume is really low (even though you know you set it up well before). The solution is to try to ensure that this feature is off if it is disturbing your gaming/Skyping/whatever. This is particularly true of the (soon to be phased out) Windows Live Messenger program when initiating voice/video communications. Plus a poor mic or headset may exacerbate the issue because the program may think things are a lot noisier than they are depending upon what sort of sub-optimal performance the mic has.

Having the Logitech brand attached to it, I expected a fairly high quality product. And overall, I wasn't disappointed. Of course, it wasn't perfect either.The headphones themselves sound fairly good to me. The quality isn't bad, and being able to adjust the volume on the cord is a nice feature, which some my previous few headphones did not have. They are very comfortable - possibly the most comfortable headphones I've had in years, and the microphone rotates easily.However, there is a slight high-pitched humming/ringing if I put the headphones volume all the way up - though I have never found a need for my volume to be that high. With most of my previous headphones that did feature a volume control on them, I found that I needed the volume all the way up in most situations, which is why I noticed this strange problem.It also squeaks a bit when the band on the top bends, which usually only happens when you take it off or put it on your head. It seems to be related to the quality of the plastic, and may be because my headphones are relatively new. It will also occasionally make a sound if I move it while it is on my head, whether it's because I'm talking, or because I tilted my head and nudged it slightly. The speakers might be a little loose inside the the headphones as well, which could be causing this disturbance when I shift, speak, yawn, eat, etc.A personal thing, which may be important to some people, is that the mic should be on the left side of my head (the left/right speakers are set up this way), rather than the right side. This doesn't seem standard to me, as every other headset that I owned had the microphone on the right side. While it does advertise that you can wear it on either side, which is true, the left and right speakers are not reversible, limiting that use in a variety of situations. If you are going to play games or watch a video with stereo audio, I recommend making sure your headphones are on your head correctly.I bought this on sale for $20. For that price, it is seems like it is worth it. However, for the full price of $30, I think it is a little too expensive. Overall, I'd recommend this to my friends and family if it were on sale for $20-$25, but at full price, I can't guarantee that they would be satisfied with the product. If you would like some nice quality headphones with a handful of fairly minor complaints, then you might like this.

The two questions that should be asked about this headset are, does it work and is it worth the $30 asking price?As to the first question, yes they do work, and actually work quite well. The second question will be answered later.For my test I used Dragon's Naturally Speaking software, a program notoriously fickle on what microphones it will accept. Those familiar with this software know that the mic must be within an inch or two of the mouth in order for the program to accurately translate what is said. Due to slightly bulky earphones the mic on this unit cannot be moved closer to the mouth and stays a good 2 to 3 inches away at all times. Upon seeing this I was sure the test would fail.Surprise, surprise! Not only did my dictation convert to the screen successfully it never once missed a word or command. Quite impressive.I also tried it with Skype and got good results with successful voice transmission.Just for fun, I tried this unit with a TV blaring in the background while transcribing with Dragon. Not a hitch or obvious problem. Noise cancelling works quite effectively in that respect.Another test involved listening to mp3 songs ranging from hard rock to soft ballads. Sound reproduction isn't bad but isn't stellar, either. Let's be truthful and admit the average user is not going to buy headphones with a microphone attached for music listening, so I wasn't expecting Sennheiser quality.Do appreciate the inline volume control, though. This allowed me to turn the volume down or even shut off the mic for those times when I didn't want my voice transcribed to the screen.I did find one advertising point a little misguided. Logitech makes note of the headset's ability to be worn with the microphone to the left or right merely by rotating the mic on its swivel and flipping the headset around. Well, that's nothing new and I can't remember ever having a headset that didn't have a mic swivel or the ability to be flipped around. For those that aren't sure, the ear cups are marked R or L on the inside band.Previous reviewers of other Logitech headsets have made mention of lackluster construction quality and the inability of those with large heads to comfortably wear these units.I had no problem with fit and it appears there is quite a bit of adjustment travel for those with larger heads. Of note, there is a foam pad that lines most of the head brace and this undoubtedly reduces the maximum size (and it appears there is no easy way to remove this pad without leaving residue). I really see no reason for this foam since these are lightweight but I'm sure some users will want it for various reasons.As for fit and finish, this unit is slightly heftier than previous Logitech models with larger ear cups and a slightly thicker headband. While engineering was admirable I could tell that the foam ear cup coverings are bound to fail soon. As typical with these headsets, the foam is not high quality (what foam is?) but the odd, square shape may mean a tough time finding replacements. In addition, the foam is quite obviously of the "stretch to fit" design and it soon became apparent they were starting to slip, but it appears there may be glue holding them tight (I tried tugging and couldn't get the foam to budge much).By the way, some previous Logitech units claimed Apple OSX compatibility but that apparently didn't always work (some Apple computers don't have dual headphone/microphone jacks). This unit is strictly a Windows proposition so keep that in mind.Now we come down to the second issue - price. At $30 these are quite pricey when compared to similar units by Koss and Coby that are going for $10 to $15 less. Worse yet for Logitech, some USB and wireless units are coming down in price and could soon dip into this price category.Even with a Logitech 2 year warranty standard (most others seem to average 1 year) these units are considered a disposable item not worth the postage to return. As a tech we call these "FRU" or field replaceable units. That means we toss them in the trash as they fail and break out a new one.
