Awesome clarity. Comes with a mic. The price is right so I bought two for my long distance family members to keep in touch. Really easy to setup and lots of fun. Welcome to the interweb ;)

Purchased this little gem for video chat use. The start up was uneventful, and the unit found itself without issue(WIN XP Media Edition). Did not install all the extras on the disk, only the command center and the drivers. Image is fine for chat and no complaints on the receiving end. Microphone works very well for this as well. I have not used this device for any image capture or filming. Actual device is quite small and the cord will move it around. It somewhat fits on the monitor.. I have a very "old" system. No complaints.

I ordered these to use with Skype. As suggested by others, I did NOT run the install disk; just plugged the camera in the USB port and let Windows load the software. Then I installed Skype. The image on this camera is amazing and sooooo much better than those on our laptops. It adjusts very well to differing light conditions; I think picture quality is best with softer light (vs. a bright overhead light).As others have said, the "clip" is a joke... it won't clip to anything. But double-sided carpet tape works fine, and I will "upgrade" it with Velcro strips.For the money, highly recommended. In fact, I'm buying 2 more for our laptops (one to send with our daughter to Europe).

My previous Logitech webcam wouldn't work after upgrading from Windows XP to 7. How fortunate. The Logitech C310 HD camera we bought for $30 gave greatly improved sharpness and detail in the picture.Easy installation and fit on top of the monitor. A great buy for the price. Works well in low lumination and sensitive microphone. Highly recommend it. Shipped promptly from Amazon.

My wife bought this webcam for her computer, but we weren't able to install the software. After several tries all we got was an empty splash screen, so we decided to switch my existing webcam on my computer for hers. It installed perfectly on the other computer, and I immediately noticed the difference in video quality. The image is very sharp, there are lots of "fun" features that can be added to the image, and the camera's ability to zoom in and/or track is great. Had it not been for the software problem, this would have rated 5 stars.

Best product for $30. Fun effects on CD included with the camera. Simple to install and operate. Follow my face feature is excellent for children who will move around a lot while chatting. Fun effects are entertaining to keep interest while chatting with children as well. This model does the job making it easier for webchats online. Internet speed makes the most difference with that. Mom purchased the same webcam, but hers displays grainy to us due to her lower bandwidth.

Got this cam about a week ago, and I'm not disappointed at all. The quality is great and the microphone works very well with video calling. I would definitely recommend it.

I don't think much needs to be said since this camera already has great reviews. I had a much more expensive cam before and it was lower quality. This cam rocks. My girlfriend loves it too since she can watch me in hi-def over Skype.Plug and Play on windows 7, super easy to use. Rightlight makes the picture look so good in comparison to other cams i have used. Hands down the best cam I have had.

I wanted a hd webcam for skype and omegle. This did exactly what I wanted it to do. The image is really clear and high def. Fits right on top of my computer screen.Great Product!!

My tech-wise son advised this product - the logitech webcam C310 - so we could Skype with him and our grand-daughter. The former webcam that we had was giving us fuzzy pictures. All of a sudden, when we connected with the new webcam, it seemed like the screen came to Life, and we felt like we were right there in the living room with our son and grand-daughter. It was such a "True to Life Image."

We needed to Skype a family in Japan and our webcam wasn't working so we ordered the C310 and had it up and running within minutes of receiving it. The image was much better than our previous camera: clearer, brighter, better resolution and detail.

I can say this webcam does work on a Mac. I am pleased with the design. It complements my MacBook's built in I-Sight webcam and let's me have webcam on my other PCs.

This is a great webcam for skyping and the like. Haven't had any issues with it. I would warn those with older computers to be sure their computer can actually handle the requirements for the camera though!

I bought this for my boyfriend for when we Skype, since his built in web cam didn't work well. I did some researching and came across this web cam. It takes great pictures! and the video quality is really good! I highly recommend it, especially for the price

Great Cam, Great Price, Excellent Quality. There were 2 disappointments for me: 1- If you put the cam on top of your cpu/monitor, it wont allow you to zoom out & get a wider shot due to the closeness of the image to the cam & 2-the adjustment arm to clip onto the monitor doesn't really hold the cam securely in place. Other than these 2 issues, its a great cam, a great value & extremely dependable.

Pretty easy:In fact, so easy, I set my eleven year old son to the project of downloading the disc and installing the webcam. When he was done it worked terrifically!Put the webcam on your computer but don't connect it yet.Install the software and then when prompted you simply connect the webcam. You can use their video calling application or download and install a third party's software. You can use it with Logitch Vid HD (which is included) or Skype, Yahoo Messenger, Windows Live Messenger- be advised it is NOT Mac capable!If you choose Logitech, you will be guided how to set up for webcam video calling.Great thing is that Logitech automatically detects and adjusts the best settings for your webcam, AND if your lighting is poor you can fix that and backlighting is corrected as well.You can use this for both videos and pictures and you can attach both to an e-mail for sharing. You can easily upload to facebook or youtube.Videos and photos can be personalized making them cartoonish, fish eye, the four color photos like Andy Warhol's Marilyn Monroe look,The camera is 5MP so the picture is really nice.If you want to stay in touch with someone visually, you might think about sending them one of these too!

I bought this for my son for taking a lot of pictures for stop-motion videos, which is his hobby. He liked the high definition for video chats but did not like its focusing when taking pictures. We bought the C910 and he preferred its auto focus function.

I had been planning on getting the Logitech C510 web cam, on line, but saw C310 at Wal-Mart and made an impulse buy.It was a great buy because this is the little Web cam that could, in a big way.I've owned other Logitech Web cams and while they performed satisfactorily, the C310 performs extraordinarily for acamera in that price range. Installation was a breeze, and it works just great. Mine even came with a pair ofhead sets with microphone!Good work, Logitech.DonaldS

I bought the C310 mainly to use with Skype and it works great for that. People we call always comment on the crystal clear picture and great sound quality they're getting. You can zoom in/out, up/down, go left/right, or even set the camera to follow you around which works surprisingly well. Like most Logitech products set up was a no brainer (I'm running Vista). The special effects are fun.......wish there were more of them. It's a snap to take a pic and send it. I was surprised at how small it is. At just 2.5" x 1.25" it hardly noticeable sitting on top my monitor. This is a awesome unit, great performance at a great price. I'm very pleased with my purchase and Amazon got it to me quickly with free shipping.For what it's worth, I've found that Microsoft hardware products are always the hardest to set up and tend to be the most buggy so I stay away from them.
