Altho I have never owned this device before I can tell you that besides the beautiful clear picture/video quality, it has features that for the price must be purchased!

It is easy to install and to use. I've used it twice in web conferences and it worked flawlessly. I would recommend it to people who don't have a laptop with a built-in camera.

I have an '09 PC laptop that has a 1.3MP built-in camera, so I was looking for something that would allow me to have better quality video chats with my family and friends. This tiny little camera is amazing!! I love that it has a mic in it, i didn't have to buy that seperately (the one in my computer is as poor as the camera). It provides A+ video chats in Google video and in Skype. :-)

I like this product for the clarity of the picture. It was easy to set up and the mike produces good sound.The disappointment I have with it is when I try to video myself palying guitar...the digital image "sticks", gets stuck and is simply not smooth enough to produce something I'd be happy to put up on youtube.comPerhaps there's a need for a more expensive camera? (this one was very reasonable <$30. ) or perhaps my computer's video card is not up to the task? Who knows....the problem is the video is sticky and jerky when recording a "live" performance of solo acoustic guitar and the audio suffers from audio interruptions tied to the visual problems. Still at the end of the day...for the price....good value especially for newcomers making "Skype" video calls.Peace, Love and Rock n' Roll

I just can't get it to work with my windows 7. I've sent e-mails to Logitech and all. I'm getting ready to send it back.

I read the reviews for quite a few webcams and this seemed the better of quite a few so-so models. Well, much to my wonderful surprise this was easy to install, works every time and has great clarity and sound qualities. If you are looking for a good webcam this is one for you to try out.

We have used it a few times so far, and it works just great! I have no issues, quality is good and I believe it was easy for my husband to install! Would definitely recommend!

This camera/mic worked immediately out of the box on Win7 64bit, even without installing the included software.One thing to note: the included clip is not big enough to fit over the top of an Apple 30" Cinema display; we had to tape it in place.

I got this webcam basically for skype and it hasn't disappointed. It's not like I want to make a recording studio but for the price and what I use it for my kids and myself included love it. It's great and very easy to install.

Nice little Web Cam if you don't have one that came with your computer this is nice addition to having a Web Cam. Cam easy to setup works great! Highley recommend this product watch for sales.

I have to say, I do love this webcam. The price on Amazon for it is a great deal! You can't beat it. The picture quality, even the microphone sound quality is perfect for those of us using skype or taking youtube videos...or really, ANYTHING. I wouldn't try to make a feature length film with it, but you could definitely shoot a good webisode or something.I love the fact that you don't HAVE to download anything to use the webcam (if you're just using it for Yahoo or something like that). It's completely plug and play. But you SHOULD download the program. There's also additional FREE downloads you can receive from Logitech, including a really simple video editor.All and all, I'm happy with my purchase.The only con I could find is the clippy thing on the back. It's not very secure when you put in on the monitor and if the cord is yanked, the webcam will go flying sometimes. I've dropped this poor webcam about 15 times now (the faceplate fell off lol) and it's still going strong!Will definitely buy again when I burn this one out. =)

This is amazing. I got this because my son and daughter-in-law are in Memphis.They are not able to be with us as much. They got to see my mom after hersurgery. Great picture they said.

I've had this webcam for a little over a week now and am liking it very much so far. The image quality for both snapshot pictures and video is excellent. The mic on it is really good as well. Everything sounds very clear and stable. I'm not surprised this one turned out to be really good. I've used a lot of different Logitec products in the past, so I know they make quality products. Definitely worth looking into, if you're looking to buy a good webcam at an affordable price.

This webcam does its job very well. I have had no issues with the cam. The user interface leaves a bit of room for improvement and there could be more options such as effects and extras. But overall is a good buy.

The product was in manufacture sealed box. Just plugged it in my Windows XP and worked immediately without driver. The picture is crystal clear and frame rate is just like a camcorder. Very good in low light. Colors are vivid and it fits perfectly on the corner of my laptop and desktop monitor. For $30 this is an awesome camcorder. Thanks to other customers reviews that encouraged me to buy this. I don't need to wait to see it's other features to give it a 5 star!

This is the best entry level camera available and at only $30 you can't go wrong. I've set up two of these for my parents to skype and they are perfect. The sound is great, the picture is clear, and the setup is painless. Highly recommended.
