Nothing spectacular. It doesn't hold too well on my monitor and it doesn't sit too well on the desk cuz there's no grip on the back of the hinged piece to prevent the weight of the cable pulling it away. Runs with skype just fine right outta the box.

Bought this after looking at a u-tube review of the product. I must say the reviewer was right in all respects. Love the web cam and the first time I used it I was told it was the best picture he had seen on his computer.

Had an HP webcam prior to this one. This webcam takes a very good picture. Had a little difficulty in getting the sound. Had to do a second installation to get it to pick up sound. After that, it has worked very well.

This product is ridiculously better than my laptop camera, and now my friends don't complain about how loud I type either! I seriously just plugged it in, and my computer automatically detected it and installed everything so that it would work with Skype. Definitely worth the $25 I paid for it.

Cam looks good but i can't use it. I am running a windows 7 and every time i try to use the cam on skype i lose internet connection. Googled the problem and it turned out i am not the only one.

I also have a Creative webcam about 5 years old, which is now going for about $50. This Logitech seems as good to somewhat better all the way around.

Great piece of equipment! Very small, easy to clip on, easy to install. Mic is great. I move away when talking and it still picks up my voice.

I purchased this camera to talk to loved ones thousands of miles away. My laptop is old (2003 or so) so I needed a USB camera. It worked very well, no issues with the hardware or easy-to-install software. However, if you have a slow or spotty Internet connection it won't work as well (which is expected with webcams).

I have many friends from overseas and we use skype a lot. I wanted to get a better webcam so the communication will be better. I gave this webcam a try and we very satisfy with it. The video is clear and the sound quality was great. Now my friends can see me clearly and I can hear them without turning the volume up all the time.

Clear picture, mic works, clips fine to our flat screen. Great for general use. Zoom feature doesn't do much for us in our small office. Mostly used for Skype.

This is the second or third time buying a Logitech Webcam - but first time with HD. Works well as promised. Installation was a snap and it's mic is pretty good for using it as computer audio when doing audio over PPT slides.

Working great so far. Ordered this item to communicate w/my husband via Skype while he was out of town working. I was afraid it wouldn't attach to my monitor very well but surprisingly it has stayed put. Very easy to hookup, I just put in the CD to install the program & plugged in the camera & Voila.

I agree with the other reviews. This item is acceptable with Skype (minimal breakup of image), and poor with the provided software (lots of image breakup). The zoom and pan features work as advertized. It mounted extremely well to the top of the monitor or sets on the desk well also. Cable length was adequate to go from the top of the monitor, through the desk access in the back of the desk and to a computer on the floor.

Great webcam the HD is CRYSTAL CLEAR. I mean freakin' CRYSTAL. This really impressed me. Does not lag one bit.Purpose for buying:Pictures for FacebookSister wants to use for chatting

This is a great product. I read about the review and thought it is the entry level HD camera for exactly what I needed for making US and international web talks. I was told the other end could even see the hair from the video! I did play around with the driver in Win 7 a little bit. But got it to work. The trick I used was to create another admin account and install the software, and make it visable to all. Overall, great product!

This is a pretty decent offering from Logitech, for a very decent price. The quality increase of webcams over just the past year has been pretty impressive, and this webcam follows that trend nicely. However, it's not perfect, but overall it is a very good choice.Installation with Windows 7 was quick and flawless, just plugged it in and it was almost instantly usable in any program that supports webcams. Configuring the format of the image and the brightness/contrast/saturation is pretty easy through Logitech's software. The image quality is good, not spectacular. At higher resolutions particularly, the image can be fairly grainy, and you'll see the image break up if it's moved quickly at all, like you'd see in poorly compressed youtube video. But it's a webcam, not an action cam, so if you stick this on top of your monitor, you probably won't run into the breaking image quality.Speaking of sticking it on top of your monitor, you might have more luck than I. The mount is fairly infuriating, and doesn't work on either of my monitors, but that may be a unique case. The range of movement is far too limited and isn't firm enough to clamp tightly. It -can- freestand on its base, but the base has hardly any weight to it so even bumping the table or the chord makes it shift or fall over, and one of the little rubber feet liberated itself from the base almost immediately upon use. The mounting base is the biggest drawback of using this webcam.Otherwise, this is a pretty good camera for the money, though my personal favorite is the Microsoft LifeCam Cinema, which has superior image quality overall, and an extremely flexible base that can be mounted onto just about anything, currently for about the same price as this Logitech webcam[...]"}

I would have done a video review but I'm not sure how to top the ones already posted :)Anyhow I would just like to add that this little webcam is wonderful! It's really nice that it has auto light correction because I'm tired of having to use "auto-fix" on my pictures! I have tested it out by using my main light (ceiling fan light - the brightest in my room) and also with just a small desk lamp, both producing very good images. Good enough that you can see the name of the water bottle behind me on the floor, I thought that was neat.Also the filters are fun to play with. I guess once I learn how to edit a video I will try my hand at youtube.As far as the video capabilities, I use the video aspect every day as I started a personal vlog. The built-in microphone is excellent! I also use my webcam for Skype calls/video conferences. So far I have not experienced any lag. The microphone is very sensitive... I recorded a diary entry when it was raining the other day and when I replayed it I could hear the raindrops very pronounced. Glad my dogs weren't barking.If anyone wants to see the clarity of the images, I used my webcam to take a picture of myself today which I'm using as my new profile picture on here.I have triple monitors and have tried sitting the webcam on each with no issues. The brand of monitors I use are Dell, and two Acers. 17" WS LCD, 20" LCD, and 20" WS LCD. The installation was very easy, I was up and running in about three to five minutes.In summary, I believe it was an excellent purchase for the price. I have no complaints to add.

This is the first webcam I have owned and it is working great. The picture is way better than the built in webcam on my laptop but this should be expected. I have some troubles with the software, where my color/brightness settings won't save but that is it so I give it 4 stars.

Needed a camera for my older notebook so that I could make skype calls and include video. This product is just what the doctor ordered. Worked great out of the box with no setup required. The picture quality with skype is fantastic. Great product at a fair price!
