I bought the C310 mainly to use with Skype and it works great for that. People we call always comment on the crystal clear picture and great sound quality they're getting. You can zoom in/out, up/down, go left/right, or even set the camera to follow you around which works surprisingly well. Like most Logitech products set up was a no brainer (I'm running Vista). The special effects are fun.......wish there were more of them. It's a snap to take a pic and send it. I was surprised at how small it is. At just 2.5" x 1.25" it hardly noticeable sitting on top my monitor. This is a awesome unit, great performance at a great price. I'm very pleased with my purchase and Amazon got it to me quickly with free shipping.For what it's worth, I've found that Microsoft hardware products are always the hardest to set up and tend to be the most buggy so I stay away from them.

The cam is easy to hookup. (comes with disc instructions) Has good video quality and the audio is great. Highly recommend this one. Paul

In-law's went oversees for seven months so we decided to video chat. They were amazed by how clear this webcam is compared to their own. Everyone who we chat with online comments on how clear the video is. Very good webcam...highly recommend.

Camera had a hard time staying on the top of the computer and the sound quality wasn't that good. Sometimes the camera wouldn't work either. Was okay camera.

Easy to set up, fun little software package with some filters. They offer a video cam service with the camera but I'm using skype. Supposedly offer editing software that I plan to download. Was supposed to get a $10 rebate but still waiting to hear from Amazon.

I recently bought this camera and I absoulutely love it. Thie picture is so clear and lifelike. Every movement is smooth and fluid. Trust me, this isn't a camera that you need to be all close up on. I have this camera mounted on top of a floor fan (with duct tape!) and I can go on with my show!

A much better item than I expected . . . GREAT picture . . . far better than I ever expected. I would recommend this Logitech 720p Webcam to ALL my friends.

It is much smaller than I was expecting, but that is a good thing! The picture quality is amazing and I have never had a problem with someone else hearing me. We mainly use this cam for Skype and it works great!

I needed an inexpensive USB webcam for home monitoring. This fits the bill perfectly. Good image quality, and no driver to load. Plug it in and go.

This is a very solid webcam. The picture is unbelieveably clear and bright. Even in my dark room, at night, it looks like it's the middle of the day. The only little nag is that the picture sometimes resizes while you're using the webcam, but otherwise this is a perfect webcam at a great price. (Way better than my dark, out of focus, and buggy Microsoft lifecam).

Length:: 2:52 MinsThe Logitech HD Webcam C310 is a very straightforward device to use, and it has very nice video quality as the video portion of my review shows. My previous webcam was a Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX, and there is really no comparison. If you have had other Logitech webcams, the experience will be very familiar for you with the exception of the new Vid HD calling software. This is great if you know other people who have a Vid HD calling account, but otherwise it is not very useful. However it is great for Skype and other messaging apps that you might use, and the still pictures are sharp as well. This is another solid offering from Logitech. As with most of their products, each generation is incrementally better than the previous.The C310 is the base model, and Logitech has others with more advanced features. I would recommend using the comparison chart to find the one that best suits your needs. Length:: 1:54 MinsThis is a great webcam! I have not been able to find a single webcam that is of such high quality (its an HD) and also such a low price. Fun effects, easy interface and options, and smooth crisp picture give this a 5/5 stars in my book. Get this webcam.

I purchased this camera in December and from the moment I installed it I was delighted that I did. The quality of the video it produces is excellent, and the difference between this Webcam and the three year-old Logitech model it replaced is dramatic. Because of all of this, I highly recommend this product for anyone wanting a solid entry-level HD Webcam.

Ordered Two of these for Christmas one for Grandma and one for us. Both cameras installed with almost no effort and worked the first time we tried. The provided Logitech HD software is simple an again works just as we need it to. Grandma couldn't be happier to be able to see her new grand-daughter anytime she wants to.An excellent product I would, and probably will (can't forget about Grandpa), buy again.

This product is very good. It has great quality, fun software effects (kind of like apple) and it's very affordable for what you get out of the item. Logitech has good software with the webcam also and I am happy with it. I enjoy the HD quality and how big the picture saves as with the 5 MP. It's enough and I don't see myself upgrading my webcam for a very long time!

This was my first webcam. Did not want to spend a lot of money, but wanted something of decent quality. This was a great purchase for both of my requirements. Would recommend to friends and family.

A great product for the money... I've found that it will break-up and hang-up on certain days. However, I am using it long distance and that is where I am experiencing the break-up. My grandchildren are using it locally and are not having the same problems.
