I have never used a webcam, but am now hooked. So easy to install and use. Would definitely recommend this product to any of my friends who are thinking about getting one.

Needed a camera for my older notebook so that I could make skype calls and include video. This product is just what the doctor ordered. Worked great out of the box with no setup required. The picture quality with skype is fantastic. Great product at a fair price!

I bought this for my father. Setup is super easy on windows, just plug it and windows will download the software. Once setup is done, we got HD video on msn and skype. It is a lot better than intergraed cameras of laptops. very satified.

It is very compact while providing high quality images. I found it much better than the built-in webcam on my laptop. I am very satisfied with this Logitech C310 web camera.

Plug and Play. Great sound. Good picture. Very stable. Used on both Windows XP and Windows 7. A little rocky to mount on my old Dell laptop, Steady as a rock on Acer monitor.

This webcam was inexpensive and works great! I downloaded Skype instead of using Logitech for calling and videos because from what I could determine, the person being called has to have Logitech's software in order for the videos to work. We had our first video call with our 6-year-old granddaughter and it worked beautifully. It's the next best thing to being there!

I have tried web Logitech web cameras back several years ago. No skype or road runner so video was grainy and sorta limited to VGA etc. Did my first Skype and was totally amazed at the audio and video resolution and clarity. Plug and play through USB was flawless and can not expect any better for $36 dollars!Only concern was its design seems for notebook or laptops. Wouldn't fit over edges of my LCD 22" monitors and had to tape awkwardly onto desk top with Duct Tape.Would had like some sort of adapter or tripod mount.

The one I previously owned cause some USB problems because it used too much resource from USB port. I'm not sure why so I decided to get another one. This doesn't have that problem. The image quality is fine to me. It makes skin look a little bit smoother. It fits on the top of my 24" Dell monitor just fine. It's small and light. Overall, you'll get what you pay for.

I bought this camera for video conferencing. The image is very clear, much more than what I have on my home laptop. I'd recommend this for sure.

Picture is great and the software is a breeze to work with. My only issues have been it's a bit unstable on my laptop and the internal mic is a bit weak.

Almost everyone that I have Skyped with this device has either commented on the clearness of the picture, or that they were jealous of my widescreen, or that the sound was very crisp. When I type while using this, it can be heard so loudly that people think it is raining in the background. The microphone is incredible for being mounted 2.5' away from me on my monitor instead of being a headset.

...on this web cam .I read many reviews about this webcam before I bought it ,that will not work on skype ,that will have problems with the sound,etc.Well so far so good none of those happened with mine and think it's a really good Webcam.

I was looking for a great performing by budget priced webcam & have been delighted with the Logitech C310. So pleased, I purchased another one for the other computer in my house. Yes, it would be nice to have a manual hardware (i.e. sliding cover) which would cover the webcam's lens when not in use but I fashioned my own out of an index card. Yes, it doesn't swivel and is missing a few other doo-dads but for less than $30 it is a *great* value. It works works well with my HP laptop and my home PC with Skype.

I trust the Logitech name and have always gotten GREAT quality from them. In line with Logitech's other products - the Logitech 720p HD Webcam C310 is GREAT! I use it with Skype and it works wonderfully! A lot of technology packed into a small product at a GREAT price. I liked this unit so much that I purchased one for my mother.

This camera works perfectly fine in Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.4); the reviewer who said it didn't is ignorant. The box does not say it works on a Mac, but the camera is UVC compliant and will work on any operating system that is UVC compatible (Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X, Linux, etc.) -- just plug it in. And yes, the USB microphone is recognized as well.Photobooth, Skype, Quicktime, and Gmail's Flash-based web chat all function perfectly well. Framerate is nice and smooth at VGA resolution, but stutters quite badly (5-10fps at best) at higher resolutions even with a Quad Core i7 CPU and 4GB of RAM with a moderate amount of lighting in Mac OS X; when I ran the camera in Windows 7, however, I had quite smooth (mid-to-upper 20s, not quite 30 I'd say) framerates at 720P in a moderately lit room.It's a fixed focus camera and it only features a plastic lens, but the picture is decently sharp.One important thing to note is that the base of this camera does not allow you to pan it left or right -- only up and down; that could be a deal-breaker for some potential buyers.The USB cable is rather short, but at least the cable carries both audio and video, rather than some cheaper webcams that require a second 3.5mm cable for the microphone.There is no physical shutter for the camera, but there is a mildly lit, large, green LED that indicates if the camera is on.Overall it seems like a very nice webcam for $29.99.
