Nice camera with amazing resolution . The sound reproduction from the mic is also high quality. It's smaller in size than I expected , a good thing ! My only complaint isthe mounting possibilities are limited. All in all, it's an excellent value , Thanks Amazon for great products, and great service.

After buying one of these to use with my son and his children, I bought one for my daughter so we could see and talk with her and her children. The webcam sets up easily and works very well in both video and audio. I set mine up on my desktop flat screen using a piece of Scotch tape to hold it in place. The coverage angle is fine for one head. If you want to see two heads, they have to be close together. A model with a wider viewing angle may be useful.We use it with Skype which should be downloaded first if you want to use Skype. The software comes with a communications package by Logitech if you don't want to use Skype. It also has other software features if you want to add some 'interest' to the conversation. I downloaded these features but have not used them.The only gripe I have is that the webcam control panel pops up spontaniously but the controls it provides are not available with the C310 webcam, so it is a nuisance to keep turning off the control panel, or dragging it out of view.We thought we would like to try a group conference with both son and daughter and all the grandchildren. It sets up easily in Skype but unfortunately, Skype requires a subscription of $10 per month or $5 for one session, which ended that idea. All-in-all, the webcam is a great value for the price if all you want is a basic webcam to see the person on the other end of the call.

I've had this camera for about 12 hours, so although I'm still getting used to it, I've had plenty of time to play with it and look at most of its features. Overall, it's a nice camera for the price. However, it's not for everyone, and like my title says, it definitely has its share of pros and cons.PROS:* Excellent image quality* Great microphone quality* Software works great with it + nice features* I find the LED light/position a lot more attractive than most other webcams.CONS:x It is not truly "widescreen". The lens is unfortunately more "fisheye" than wide angle. Although you can indeed make the ratio 16:9, your camera will not cover a wide span. Basically expect no other coverage other than your head and behind.x The cord is quite short (5 ft). This of course depends on the person's circumstance. My tower is quite far from my monitor, and it just barely reaches the USB port. Would it have hurt to make the cord at least 7'? Of course, some people have laptops or monitors with USB ports; so once again, it depends on your circumstances.x It's a bit bulky. Expect it to stick out about an inch or two infront of your monitor. Not exactly "attractive", but not hideous either.x I had an AWFUL hard time getting this thing out of it's box. Jeez Logitech, you have this thing packaged like it's Fort Knox. Simply be careful not to break it when trying to get it out.So although I'm not completely satisfied, I do find the pros exceptional for keeping. With those cons being said, I fully appraise Logitech and recommend no other brand better for a webcam. However, please know that you DO get what you pay for.

Nice picture and sound, but the camera turns itself off when using Skype and there seems to be no support to help with the issue. I have to reset the camera every two minutes or so during every chat. I will have to toss this one and buy something else.

Using with Windows XP Home SP3, 3GHz Phenom II X3 CPU, 4GB DDR3-1333 memory. Sits up on the top of my flatscreen, out of the way. Use it to Skype with my wife when she is out of town. Seems to work better without the included software.Sometimes the camera will freeze on me, but I think it has to do with the Skype connection. I run a fairly beefy PC with plenty of horsepower. I have cable internet, so I know it isn't a bandwidth issue. I made sure it has it's own dedicated USB port, so no conflict there. I CAN'T get it to freeze when I'm NOT using Skype, so that pretty much narrows it down.Nice picture, good microphone, small size. All-in-all, a really great buy.

Quick Shipping. Recevied this webcam, set up was as easy as plug and play. Picture and mic are much better than the built ins on my laptop. Thumbs up.

We were looking for some webcams so our kids could talk to thier grandparents who live about 6 hours away. I found these on amazon and decided to give them a try as they were a good price and appeared to fit our needs.My parents whom i might add are not very technology savy were able to use the webcams easily. The sound and picture were clear, there were no issues at all! Definately worth the money spent.

Very nice camera and takes great pictures. have used with Skype and the quality is far superior to other images we have seen from others using some other camera. Ridiculously simple to set up. All my accessories are Logitech products and this one reinforces my decision to purchase and stay with Logitech products.

This camera is great. Right out of the box I plugged it into my Ubuntu 11.10 Linux system and it worked without any issues whatsoever. So whether I am using Google Talk, Skype... it just works. The picture is clear and the color is awesome.

I brought this camera specifically to do SKYPE video calls and not much else; I was looking for a good quality picture, durability, and a good $ value. I think that this product met all of my objectives. I was told by my PC repair shop that Logitech cameras had a very low rate of repair and was a brand that they would recommend. I've been told that my picture is very sharp and clear by my SKYPE communication partners and better than most PC built-in cameras. Logitech included much more camera control software than I'll ever use, but who knows? I think that I made a good pick for a good price.

This camera installs flawlessly and all of the supporting applications work. You can Skype, take stills, add special effects and much more.Minor complaints:* If it has a lens, provide a cloth bag* It's a little bigAccolades:* Picture quality VG-Excellent even in low light* Seamless integration with A/V applications (like Skype)This camera is well constructed and comes from a company trust. I have never had any problem with any Logitech product in over 10 except for normal wear and tear.I highly reccommend this camera or the less expensive Logitech HD Webcam C310 which works almost as good.

the webcam is great i use it for work or just great pleasure. its clear, the sounds are clear i dont have to be that close to talk peaople can hear me from far away. i like to sing and record videos and its awesome that its one click away and easy upload its totally worth the money wouldnt replace the webcam for anything.

What can I say, this webcam is pretty good for the price. Great picture quality. (its not full HD but I mean 720p is more than enough for the average user), and built-mic which makes video-chat a breeze. The foldable arm lets u hook it wherever you want, or make it stand on its own. The included software, as with most Logitech products, is confusing and not very helpful. But most apps nowadays are plug-and-play anyway so that shouldn't be a big issue.Anyway, for the price, its a good option for Skype, Google Hangouts or any video-chat client.

Not as great as what I was expecting. Not really much different from my old Microsft cam. Covers part of the Monitor. Its not bad for the price. I was just expecting more with all the HD and what not. The one thing I do like better than the Microsoft cam is that it never falls down

I bought this camera after purchasing the Logitech QuickCam Communicate Deluxe. This camera was the same price, at the time, and was complete garbage. Everything was blurry and the frame rate was very low. So, I returned that product and got this one hoping the the HD would make the difference.Video Quality: The video quality was pretty good in comparison. They images were clear, but I could have used a higher frame rate. Sometimes the video gets a little choppy but it's really not that bad. That can also be attributed the your internet connection at the time. Overall, it is a great way to get in some face time with your friends and family.Audio Quality: This webcam has a built in microphone which works great! Even when the video gets choppy the audio is fine.Software: Logitech's software that comes with this webcam is garbage, and they know it. It never really installs properly and when you call their tech support, the first thing they say is that they are having many issues with the software. However, I know people with this software that installed it just fine. I suppose it is a computer to computer issue, but nevertheless, it is likely to not work with your machine (says logitech). But, you really don't need it if you just do basic web communication (use with skype). The software that comes with it lets you use different affects and such. This camera is completely plug and play and uses universal drivers that install automatically when plugged in.Overall, this camera is definitely worth the money. It's a great camera to send with your kids to college! It is very lightweight and easy to use. Truthfully, I enjoyed buying this product from Amazon.com. I bought the first camera from Logitech directly and I am still waiting for a return of my purchase (and will be for a long long time). Amazon made it very quick and easy.

I got this for my brother who had this on his Christmas list. He is in college and wanted to use this for Skype. He loves it has been using it everyday. Said it's great and easy to use. Just what he wanted. For me when I got it I was pleased with how small and sleek it was, very nice product. And got better reviews than most.

I am very satisfied with this item. This is my first webcam and I think I paid a fair price and it was easy to install and start to use on the Skype system. This was the reason I got it. I have yet to just do video for the heck of it, but I think it will be great. I recomment this item for any first time webcamer.

I bought a Logitech HD Webcam C310, used it less than ten times now the mic does not work. The video is good but no one can hear me when i talk. I liked the webcam when it worked. now i have to buy a new one,it won't be a Logitech. not happy.

This camera is real easy to place on my monitor.Mic is included, so that's convenient (although most of web cams have it nowadays)It was nice that amazon had it at a reasonable price compared to best buy, or on campus computer store.Personally, I think the video quality only needs to be good enough to the degree your internet speed supports it, and this web cam is just good in that sense.

Bought this for my mom in TN. We Skyped over Christmas so she could see her grandchildren, in CA, unwrap presents and they could see their grandma. Really good picture quality. On Skype for an hour and the video was smooth as if we were there. Definitely would recommend this webcam.

It plugs right into your USB port so you can easily take down and set up again. The only negative I personally saw with this product was the cord length and the stability of the clamp that holds it on your monitor. I tried to put it on my screen but it couldn't reach so I had to reconfigure my whole desk which was a total pain! Also, the clamp system it has going doesn't stick on some monitors very well but it's all right if you can set it just right so it won't tip off next time something gets bumped. Overall this is a great webcam with good quality video, clear recording and a sleek, very stylish looking design.
