I bought this camera for my sister and brother across the country and had it shipped directly to them, so unfortunately I am only able to give a limited helpful review, as I have not seen the camera myself. However, my sister did say that it looked nice, and the picture is much nicer and clearer than the standard cameras most laptops come with. One important thing to note- I didn't realize when I bought the camera (used) that it didn't come with the typically included installation-CD. Given that my sister isn't tech-savvy in the slightest, this proved to be somewhat problematic for her to get the camera going, versus just being able to plug and play. Luckily, Logitech's website is outstanding, so we were able to remedy the issue quickly by downloading the drivers directly from their site. For buyers in the future though, be sure to make note of the installation CD. Other than that, I give this product two thumbs up and hope to purchase one for myself down the road, now that I see the night and day difference between her picture and mine. Hope it helps.

Plugged camera in and win7 recognized it, worked fine. Thought I'd try the software that came with the camera.. took 15 minutes to install, told me to go get a cup of coffee (really!), asked me to reboot, crashed when I said "restart later". All signs of bad software. Comp started up with 5 extra logitech processes running in the background. Didn't like that, so uninstalled. Works fine without!

The video is good but not great. The video lost frames at the ntsc frame rate which is about 27 frames per second but seemed to work well at 24. My first recording took 9 GB of hard drive space for about a six minute video. If I had to do it over again I would get the C910 or C920 which both offer video compression.

My fist time using skype, so i needed a cam, i bought this one, it is pretty good for the price. I have been using it for a month and a half and i like it, i Would recommend it. There are more fancy ones that do more, this one is just basic, enough for what i need it for.

I admit--I'm not super technically inclined, but I'm fairly young (26) so fairly familiar with the basic ins and outs of how things like this work. That being said--it's SUPER easy. I plugged it in and downloaded Skype, including those two steps, I was up and running in under 10 minutes. The picture is good, and according to the folks on the other end, the sound is good too. I was a little concerned about how well it would stay sitting on the top of my laptop screen--and it settles in and stays without any trouble at all. I also like how small and compact it is. All in all, I think it was worth every penny.

I purchased this camera for my mother to use. Its quality is fantastic and audio is terrific. I purchased it for $26, which I think is a heck of a bargain for Logitech. Great product for an even better price! Very happy!

First I bought here on Amazon webcam ICECAM2 and then I replaced it with ICECAM. With my MAC PRO PPC OS X 10.5.8 first camera did not work at all and quality of image from the second one was just horrible.When I asked vendor for return and refund for the ICECAM vendor (Shoppe247) has refuse to accept it back (Just beware of this seller!). No ICECAM for me anymore.Than I bought through Amazon this Logitech C310 webcam. Just plugged it in and I got the best picture and sound one can expect. HD Picture is crystal clear, camera mount is perfect, packaging is great. By some strange reason Logitech doesn't specify MAC Operating system to be OK for C310 webcam, but I spoke with Logitech Customer Support and they confirmed comparability.In short: Highly recommended webcam for MAC OS. I am sure that with Windows it works as great (It is specified for Windows).

gf says images are very clear. as long as she is happy all is good.do not use the cd that comes with the cam, just download the latest software from logitech.

This are the best on the Planet HD with Webcam, Movie, Picture & Sounds Albums Logitech Camera.It works suprisingly wonderfull better than ever expected!Having HD Non Stop Auto-Focus, Sharpness, Color and HD Sounds even wathing my Head movements and auto adjust to my motion!It's just amazing Camera I even own..and Logitech shows and make the Highest possible Quality HD Camera series.The Logitech VID software deserve a Medal for such big load of Options build-in and very handy and most serve in Auto-to-user so, there is nothing left to learn.Once installed than forget about any learn or re-config.. this software & camera with take you into a new HD Graphics and Sounds whenever you go forever..This Camera work better than perfect on Skype with full auto just one Click in most sytuations.More.. the responds in anyway are almost blasting pretty very Fast!If anybody looking for good HD like live Color and you inside at very low Price.. then try and go for and never fills sorry!

This webcam is really a good value. The set up was quick and simple and it works great with Skype. The image is very high quality and has auto light level, and color balance. I never used a webcam before but I don't see how you could get a better one for the price. Highly recommended.

This camera is all you need if you will be video chatting online. It's also very easy to use. Install the software, plug the camera in, and viola, you're done. I recommended this camera for anyone that has a need for online chatting.

Logitech 720p Webcam C310 is the right one I have been looking for. I was looking for a not expensive webcam at least with 720P and reasonable picture quality especially with 'very clear sound and microphone features' because I am buying this mostly for my Skype application. The 1st candidate I picked was microsoft made one(in similar class)but I have read someone's review on it that comparing it to this C310 and recommending Logitech C310 as a better alternative. (Thank you man.^^ You were right! The long cord of 5ft is long enough for easy mounting on my 28 inch monitor without buying any expensive extension cord and make it hold pretty steady. The video taken looks much better than I expected. The picture looks crisp even in low light environment. The talking via Skype is nice and clear without any echoes and it is very important to me. Some people pointed out no turning of camera and no shutter on it but it is O.K. with me because I do not need to use that features at all. It is not the best webcam in quality that money can buy but it is the best for overall quality including cost(paid $30) at that time. I love it so far. ^^

I got this because it was only $23.99. I replaced a Microsoft web camera I have used for a few years that I paid $60 for. The old Microsoft webcam was not HD and it still worked, but this one is much better. I can tell a huge differents in video quality. The biggest thing I noticed right away is that the video is not so dark. I skype with my family from time to time and they can see us more clear because it picks up more lighting and the video is a lot more clear. This is a good camera and I'm glad I upgraded to HD.

Got this so my wife could keep in Skype contact with the kids. Normally I have to do all the techie stuff for her but by the time I got home from work, she had it installed and running. Very easy to install (Windows 7 by the way).

This webcam installed flawlessly on Windows 7. I am amazed at the quality of the video. The low price of the webcam had me a little concerned, but I am very pleased with the frame rate and the overall video performance. I would not hesitate to purchase another one.

Simple to install and run. In Win7, easiest to plug in the USB when internet is available, don't use the disk, and let it all be installed from Logitech's site. I installed and used the included Logitech VID program to avoid Skype ads, and voila! I was able to request my son answer the call. At his end, he installed the Apple version of VID, and connected from his laptop. Daughter could not get her iPad to work -- presumably no app. I couldn't get her dual-core WinXP system to work with it either. Too bad.I have a 3 mbps connection, and my son has a 10 mbps connection, and motion was much smoother than ten years ago. The image still hesitates every few seconds, but not always. During peak hours, the image can hesitate badly, but the sound is still good. I had an echo on one PC, but found it was a sound card reverb setting -- not the webcam microphone.Highly recommended at less than thirty. It was like having my son over for a visit. We'll all still need faster networks before it's really a mainstream replacement for telephones/cell phones, but for people separated by long distances it's a breath of fresh air to talk face-to-face.

I have had no problems so far with this webcam and do not forsee any problems because it is simple and solidly built. Plus, at this price point ($30) it's definitely a bargain. I have not recorded any video, but the video of myself on skype looks great!

I bought this webcam mainly to take pictures of myself as I log my weight loss weekly. The pics are great quality no complaints. On testing the video quality, it really is as good as the picture quality but does have faults. Now the faults i'm talking about are where you use this camera. I noticed on some websites that this webcam's quality would drop from it's advertised 720p down the the same choppy quality of my older webcam. Well i'll give it more credit than that, it does give better quality but there is no reason it should drop from 720p to what looks to be 360p.I guess it's just those websites, not the camera itself. I did pick this up on Amazon's gold box deal so I did get a good price at $23.99. I would honestly say to anyone that this camera is not worth the $40 listed currently. If you have $40 to spend, put in another 40 and you can get something WAY better.

I use this webcam on a remote computer that looks out over a scenic view, so a good quality picture with high resolution is important for me. For the price, I don't these think webcam can't be beat. It has a little clip on the back that allows it to either clip to your LCD, or it can work as a stand for setting it on a surface. Installation is a breeze, and the color/light correction is automatic and very accurate. Highly recommended!
