This camera was purchased to equip a new Mac Mini with a webcam. My wife's iMac needed to be replaced, and the Mini was the most economical option. The only issue was no iSight camera. After some research, I discovered that some webcams are compatible with the Mac by just plugging them in, no software needed, and the C310 is one of them. It's referred to as being UVC compliant. You can see which Logitech webcams are and aren't compliant by going here:[...]/1.I plugged the C310 into the USB port of the Mini and instantly was able to use the camera with Skype and Facetime. For audio, I am using the built-in mic of the C310. The picture is truly beautiful, certainly better than the built-in iSight that was on my wife's 17" iMac. The image is clearly HD, and as bright and as crisp as can be. Our family, who we Skype regularly, noted the difference in the picture quality immediately.For basic use with Skype and Facetime, I'm not sure that you need to spend any more for a webcam than this one. The difference in the more expensive webcams is the ability to focus and the included software, which for the Mac is superflous. If you're looking to equip a Mac Mini, or for some reason your iSight camera is broken and you want a replacement, the C310 is, ahem, "picture perfect!"

Extremely disappointed with this product. It has such good ratings, so I can't understand why I cannot get a clear image. I was going to use this for my stop motion film hobby, but it will not focus on my objects. I have fiddled with the settings, tried several types of lighting and angles, but it's always a fuzzy picture. Would not recommend.

Nice little camera with good Quality of picture, sound and covers quite a bit of area! Can be fit easily to any monitors or TV.the driver cd which came along with this camera did not work for us.. suprisingly the camera does work without additonal feautres which would have been (like auto focus, follow the face..etc..)great of they worked.

First of all, I want to give a A+++ to Amazon shipping. I ordered the webcam on 4pm, and had it by 10:30 the next morning with my Prime membership - awesome!This webcam has been great. I bought it to replace the built in webcam on my laptop, and for what I use it for, it is great. I use it for work meetings, Skype calls, etc..For the price, I think it is hard to beat. I would definitely recommend it.

Great camera and quality for the price! Very easy to set up and installed the driver easily. It works great with my Windows 8 programs, including Skype and TeamViewer.

This product delivers great quality for the price. We use it for Skype, and use it several times a day. The people on the other side have said several times that they love how great the sound and image is. We look very clear! No distortions with the picture or sound. We are very satisfied.

I bought this web cam in conjunction with a full blown microphone originally. I recieved everything good and so far it works well. The thing that surprised me the most was the microphone. Originally I had hooked this and the new mic up, and for awhile the computer accidentally defaulted to this for the mic instead of the stand alone one. The camera was also poorly positioned to pick up sound. When I played back my videos I noticed the sound was good, but not great - and eventually figured out the sound was coming from the web cam, so I flipped to the full blown mic and ended up with a bunch of static I didn't want.After this I tried the web cam mic again, but properly positioned to pick up my voice and WOW does it work well. No static from the room, but perfectly clear pick up of my voice. The video features are great as well and it works excellent for skype calls. No more headset!All in all its a great value and the quality of both the mic and camera will astound you. This thing is a gem for the pricetag.

I am using this on a desktop and it works great! The picture and sound are both very clear. It is small enough to throw in a laptop bag for portability. It also sets nicely on the top of the monitor without alot of adjustment needed. I recommend to anyone shopping for a webcam.

My girlfriend just bought this camera for me because we are doing long-distance for a few more months. For the price, the quality is excellent, and it just works when you plug it in. I use it with Skype!

This is easy to use/setup and has great mic and picture. I use it for web chat on Google Hangouts and Skype. Everyone always comments on how clear the picture is and I don't get the "echo" that most people get. I would definitely get another one if I needed another one for another computer.

While installing the software, my computer crashed so bad I had to boot in safe mode and use the recovery disk to get it running again. It has not been worth retrying to install it at the risk of my whole system.

The picture quality is great, especially in daylight. It can be used for facetime, taking pictures, and recording videos. It has a built in microphone. A CD comes with it and it's easy to set up.

The installation was easy. Within five minutes, I have HD video and audio on my two -year old desk top. Would recommend to anyone who wants to buy a relatively cheap and high quality webcam.
