This camera works great for normal use. We primarily use it for skype from Philly to Cali and it has great resolution for what we are using it for. I would recommend it for others for the price and what it does display. The clarity is there.

I haven't used the webcam extensively, but it works pretty well to plug and play with Skype. I also installed the CD software so that I could use the webcam to record a short video, and that worked well also. Skype worked fine before and after installing the CD. No complaints!

Bought this camera on a tight budget to use with Skype and was surprised about the great picture quality. I've always liked the quality of Logitech products and have not been disappointed with this camera either.

Not sure what people are complaining about. this camera has great quality images. perfect for skyping. brother said everything on his end looked crystal clear in HD quality. it doesnt have a light but it does well even in dim lit areas. Thats not my opinion, thats the observation of the person on the other end. Cant expect to see in the dark. that's not what its designed for. Turn on a lamp and you are good to go.

The cam plugs in and works great out of the box. Good picture quality. For some reason, the mic didn't work on the call that I did, which was the other party's problem, not mine. I've always had good experiences with Logitech products, and this is no different.

I was so happy that I located this item and since then I have purchased three for my own personal use and two for other clients. I plan on treating everyone I know, who does not have a Web-cam, to this item. Easy to use and soft on the eyes... (even though you can see on the wrinkles on the folks you are talking to, now)...

set this up for a friend and it was working in minutes. it automatically just worked with oovoo and skype with relatively no setup. I just plugged it in and bam. It was awesome.

Easy to install, works well with Skype, and has a nice sharp picture quality. The default colors, however, are pretty bad and you have to fool with it (under Advanced Settings) to get it right.

Great little webcam. Easy setup and great picture. I don't think I'll find myself directing summer blockbusters with it, but maybe low budget porn if I can get the girlfriend and her friends on board.

I bought this webcam to connect to a hackintosh/customac that I'd recently built as I wanted to be able to use facetime. Video quality is great, but most importantly, it just worked - connected it to a USB port, no drive installation required and I was up and running with it after I'd crawled out from the dark and dusty space filled with spiders and random cables under my desk.

When Skipping, the webcam software pops up repeatedly & annoyingly. Perhaps this is just me needing to set up the software properly. The other gripe is that the attachment clamp isn't big enough to attach to my 3-inch thick monitor.

"I bought this as a gift and they love it, the only thing weird about it is the face recognition which is really just a periodic zooming feature, a little annoying. Otherwise a good product."

I feel like a little kid again with this little friend....I can do the next best thing to hopping on an expensive jet plane (that might burn up on me)....and see and talk with friends clear across the other side of the world or country. I love it. It works quite well.

The Logitech is a good web cam for Skype, Facebook, MS Messenger, etc. It seems well made and has an attractive design. Setup was easy via USB and the included installation CD. Colors are accurate and there are many 'enhanced' features to play with. Social networking sites detected the camera and they all worked flawlessly with video chats.

I purchased this as an upgrade to my built in webcam in my netbook - which works but tended to be grainy and pixelated. Installation was easy - just a few minutes to install the drivers and it was up and running. I am very pleased with this purchase for what i paid for the product.

This inexpensive webcam supports the standard USB video profile, so it will work and be recognized by most computers without even having to install a driver. Logitech supplies drivers and software for Windows which let it perform a few fun tricks, such as digital pan-zoom to follow your face, a feature I was quite skeptical about but that works quite well.Of course, at this price the camera has fixed focus. The rear of the camera is hinged and features an articulated L shaped support that you can attach to the top of your laptop or desktop monitor. This is the weakest feature of this camera: it will fall off its perch at the first tug on the (thick) cord.The C310 works perfectly on a Mac as well (you will need at least 10.4.3, 10.4.9 for iChat support -- these are fairly ancient OSX versions released in October 2005 and March 2007, respectively)Image quality is excellent, and the C310 performs particularly well in low light conditions, very important for a webcam.Don't let its low price fool you: this is a serious, high quality webcam that is a huge improvement over the built-in camera of most laptops. If you need a quality webcam but don't want to spend a fortune, you couldn't make a better choice.
