only down side is location of the 2x4pins hard t install with an air cooler bcuz the back io shield is huge.
but work great i had better temp using this than Asrock extrem4 z390

Excellent mobo with two Thunderbolt 3 ports built in
Great mobo, steady and rock solid. Very fast with a 9900k and two sticks of Sabrent 1TB PCIe memory. Highly recommended. Used with Edius 9 for video editing.

overclock all the slots are labeled on the board has more than enough slots for everything no hassle at all overclock on i9 9900k to 5ghz on all cores with 100% turbo boost

Excellent for Hackintosh
This is a must have motherboard for a productivity hackintosh build. The thunderbolt is essential for the connectivity I require. It works well with my apollo! :)

Motherboard had no issues other than being loaded with an old BIOS. It caused my system to restart constantly due to my RAM being clocked at 2666MHz. Once I updated the BIOS to latest, works like a charm. The RGB lighting is fancy too! Definitely recommend but just take note you'll have to update the BIOS, its not difficult and there's plenty of easy tutorials on how to do it!

Like my previous ASUS motherboard, it doesn't use some stupid proprietary sensors chip, the BIOS is more useable, and it runs my i9-9900k beautifully. I'm pretty pleased overall.

Me llego practicamente sin nada de proteccion, ni burbujas y la caja de la motherboard como se ve en las fotos no tenia el tipico plastico protector que indica que es nuevo y sellado, le doy 3 estrellas porque apesar del mal envio la motherboard se ve en buenas condiciones y todavia no la e instalado(probablemente edite mi comentario en caso de que si me me halla fallado o algo por el estilo de lo contrario es que todo salio bien).

Board died after only one week. Other reviewers have had similar problems. Sad for such an expensive product
Update: Amazon was great and shipped out a new board over the weekend i got the new board put in and computer started up no problem. Lets see how long this board lasts

I got the Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Ultra for a Hackintosh, and after installing the right kexts and configuring the config.plist, it works great! Wifi and BT don’t work in macOS but they do in Windows 10 and Linux.
For anyone wondering, there is no difference between the Master and the Ultra, except that the Master has better VRM cooling.

As a first pc builder this was my first pc I built and everything functioned perfectly with this motherboard. I have had this for 3 months now and it goes great with my NZXT H710 fit perfect a lot of air flow and great case for the asthetic concept.

I received the MB quickly but on examination found thermal paste smeared near the CPU socket and found many pins on the CPU socket bent and damaged. Thus the MB was rendered useless. I returned it the same day and purchased a new one. Sometimes bargains aren't!!

Terrible software,UEFI is as ugly as it gets. Easy bios great board solid beautiful and functional.
Beautiful board and has a lot of features that only $500 boards have like dual TB3 Thunder Bolt3 and a USB-C header. It’s solodl built, only has 2 NVME slots and 3 PCIe full slots so not bad at all. It feels really solid. Terrible Gigabyte software I mean just down right worthless like the Fusion 2 RGB controller won’t even detect its own board, and its super glitchy it kept freezing and crashing while trying to use it to detect the board’s RGB.
Pros- Solid! Beautiful! Feature full!
Cons- Gigabyte software that doesn’t work with this board like Fusion 2 RGB. No board buttons like on off or an lcd display on board they could have added that for $270.
Overall I say if you’re looking for a board with dual TB3s that’s is solid and sort of reasonable this is you’re board. If your Hackintoshing this board can be useful but many boards can be used for a Hackintosh but this one has native TB3 so no brainer!

Not as good as it claim
I went with this board because I needed thunderbolt, and the dedicated dac port was icing on the cake. Well both those feature are a little troublesome. To use the thunderbolt as intended you'll need to connect a cable from your graphics card to the input on the board, the problem is, they give you a cable (mini display) that can't even connect to modern graphics card. NO recent graphics card has a mini display port, this mean you'll have to go buy an extra cable for this feature to work.
The dedicated usb dac port has lots of static and noise, it's just as useless as regular ports.
The worst part about this borad, it only has one usb header. If you're running AIO, and RGB fans, and other accessories, you'll have to buy a usb hub to connect them. My old cheap AM3 motherboard has three usb header, so I don't understand why this new and more advanced motherboard only has one.

Very good MB but...
Very good MB. Does everything it is designed to do. I am running Win10 on it and it runs smoothly. My only problem with it is the Bluetooth range is limited. I tried connecting my BT devices and my keyboard works, mouse doesnt, the echo dot doesnt, and my beats headphones work when they are less than one foot away from the MB. So I tried to fix the issue and after hours of research, I come to the conclusion that there is nothing wrong with it. The Bluetooth range on this MB is just garbage. Less than one foot. So I ordered a bluetooth receiver to see if that will solve my bluetooth issues with this MB...

Love this motherboard! Packing received was not that great.
OK. The motherboard came in a box that was not sealed at all and I was surprised that the motherboard worked when I installed it because there were a lot of scratches and bumps in the box (the actual box where the motherboard was in) which was inside another regular shipping box. I don't know if that was the shipper or the sellers issue (not even have a tape holding the flap of the box down was a turned of though). How do you know if the motherboard was actually new or used. I wouldn't be able to tell. The motherboard itself is AMAZING! I do a lot of video editing and regular work for my job as a faculty member. I went all in and paired it with the best processor I9 9900K and is really fast. I do not like the bios menu and look (I don't care about red and it looks old), that said all the ports available in this motherboard work great and they are fast. The WIFI built is solid and fast. I would not use the drivers from the disk (they are old), but I would go instead to the gigabyte website and look for the new ones. Be aware that the storage on this motherboard has its limitations if you use internal SSD sticks rather than the traditional SSDS or HDS.
