I mean, this motherboard is AMAZING. Has all the pmw fan settings in the bio, strong board, and it looks amazing. Although I just started gaming, I literally pieced everything together. And I went used for a gpu cpu and ram just to get it going faster. This thing is a beast. Paired with a 980 ti (for now) (cheap deal) it’s simply playing everything on max at 1080p. Overclocking is easy done through the bios, but remember you have to download all the drivers from gigabytes website. I’ll buy again for sure. Wireless internet and wireless Bluetooth. I can connect my Ethernet cord to my computer lan and then use that computer as a hotspot/router for all my other devices. Up to 8. It’s not the best speed but my router bit the dust and I was stuck almost not playing my computer and having internet on my phone at the same time( no service on the farm) also the audio that comes out of this board is AMAZING. I had to re tune my audio video home theatre receiver cause it has SOOOO MUCH more low end bass. Fantastic quality.

Excelente tarjeta, muy capaz, potente y preconfigurada con muchos drivers, casi obvio es que sí necesitas actualizar tanto los drivers como la misma bios de la tarjeta, lo que más me gusta es que tiene 2 bios para en caso de que falle algo, tiene una segunda sin pagar por otra.
La luz rgb está agradable, y la tarjeta se siente firme aunque creo que la pudieron haber hecho más resistente ya que se curvea ligeramente al momento de conectar pero nada de qué alarmarse
La bios es algo sencilla, lo cual te muestra lo necesario e indispensable, si valoras lo sencillo es perfecta porque te muestra lo que quieres ver y configurar de una manera rápida
Lo que no me gustó es que el empaque no trae sellos de seguridad y me llegó con un golpe en una esquina que alcanzó una conexión para sata, algo que no he probado aún si funciona

Defective Motherboard
Would not boot, only the lights came on. Basically a very expensive night light. I work in IT and I know quite a bit about computers. it was put together right and all my parts were compatible with it. After swapping back to my old motherboard everything worked flawlessly. This kind of thing should not happen for an expensive motherboard that claims to be super durable and tough.

I decided a while back that i wanted to try and build myself my own gaming pc. I looked at a few boards, i fell on this one because of the price and the chip set will enable me to upgrade later the way i want. So for my first attempt at building, this board was very easy to connect to, looks nice, not too flashy though. I Would recommend it, and would buy again!

Burned up
After 5 months, went to turn on the computer and heard a pop sound. Now the computer won't boot up. When I push the power button, I see flashing lights and fans spin for a second then it all goes dead. It takes 3 weeks for the warranty process so I have to figure how to replace that computer for several weeks.

La instale con un i5 9600k, un sistema de enfriamiento por agua, una 2070 super y hasta el momento me ha trabajado muy bien, con el final fantasy xv a 1080p todo a tope a 80fps a temperaturas de 20 grados centigrados

It just works as intended and it looks great!
Running my Core i9 like nothing. Temps are great when overclocking and a stock speeds. Zero issues, solid board. Also, thunderbolt is a huge plus!

Solid, wifi works well on my model. Instructions manual is really useful. RGB is pretty, software for it is pretty bad though. Lots of IO connectivity, all types of USB ports available. Nice NVMe selection. Some of the connectors, like the cpu fan connector, are in hard-to-reach spots, but doable with smaller hands or the help of a screwdriver to push it in.
Only issue I noticed is the soundboard, when the PC is running intense tasks (say playing a game) probably from the graphics card work, I hear whining or buzzing from my headphones (connected to the motherboard via the headphone jack), I am guessing the soundboard isn't shielded well enough. Their whole marketing about "ALC1220-VB Immersive Gaming ViBes" is a lie, I can clearly hear buzzing from my headphones whenever an intensive task begins.

Looks and works as it should, unless you want rgb.
It works fantastic and also looks pretty on top of that. But! The program to allow rgb control is different from the usual gigabyte software. It was also a pain to find. So if rgb is a top priority for you in a motherboard, just be aware that you’ll be downloading yet another rgb software, as it is not compatible with rgb fusion. It uses one called ambient LED.

Love this motherboard. I put. I9 9900k and updated the bios and it runs like a champ. Bios is pretty easy to use once you watch a quick 2 min video and bio is easy to update as well. Only thing I dislike is the rgb lighting it uses and the program they suggest. I ended up deleteing it because I could get my rams to go back to the original setting it had for colour. Otherwise great motherboard for gaming and great for over clocking the cpu’s To 5.0ghz. Takes way less volts then I’ve seen with other motherboards to achieve 5.0ghz

Great Space For Dual GPU - Best MOBO for Hackintosh
Great space for dual GPU. Great features. There is a Thunderbolt 3 port which is perfect in case you want to build a Hackintosh. Did some overclocking and keep perfect stable. Recommended.

The box says it supports 8th gen Intel processors, but on the board and online it says 8&9, so don't worry if you have a 9th gen processor. Works perfect with a 9600kf. Good black finish kinda looks like an asrock pro4. Not the most features, but will do as a cheap z390 board. Wouldn't put anything with a draw of over 100w in it like a 9700k or 9900k though, VRMs might not be ready for it, there's no heatsink on them

Llegó en tiempo y forma, pero la salida de altavoces no funciona, y el conector para el panel frontal de audio además que no funciona, suena con mucha interferencia, desgraciadamente me vine a dar cuenta ya semanas después que pude armar la computadora

VRMは何人もの方が話題になさっている通りすごく冷えます。
OCしてCPUクロック数だけを気にする方はこのような冷えるマザボが良いと思います。
しかし、クロック数ではなく、あくまでもベンチマークスコアを気にする方は考えものです。
マザボだけを変更してのCPU PassMarkの比較は大手メーカーのZ390マザボの中で下位レベルです。
同じCPUクロック数、同設定で計測すると他のマザボに比べてスコアはかなり低い。
GIGABYTE Z390 AORUS MASTERはVRM周りの冷却を色々工夫してあるようですが、デフォルト設定だと高負荷時の消費電力も他と比べて低いようなので、わざとスペックを抑えて発熱量も抑えているのでしょうか。たまたまそうなったのか。
だとしてもサーマルスロットリングが発動したら元も子もないので満足しています。
長時間の高負荷での使用や、夏での使用に本領発揮するかもしれません。

Perfecto para Hackintosh y la interfaz Slate Digital VRS8
Trabajo en audio y recientemente adquiri la interfaz VRS8 de Slate Digital, al no ser del todo compatible con windows aun, decidi armar un hackintosh y esta placa fue la mejor opcion para hacerlo, completamente estable despues de un mes de uso.

Living in Australia, I purchased this gigabyte motherboard at (full retail price) from amazon US retailer.
I don’t mess around with amazon third party businesses but in the past I have had good experience with amazon AU store.
This was a disaster. I would recommend all my Aussie mates to reconsider and purchase from a different supplier, because if it arrives in the state mine did, you are stuck for options.
With my amazon prime membership, it received free shipping and that just ended up being a pain. Whilst it arrived and cleared AU customs in record time of 7 days, it sat at the fastway courier centre for about 20 days doing nothing. Search fastway couriers .. avoid this courier service.
But the biggest disaster was the arrival of the motherboard itself. Received unsealed, clearly refurbished looking like it has seen several homes. Someone’s masking tape in the bag. Total and utter disappointment. This is not a brand new card. I have been duped and my options are limited. I can wait another month I suppose to return it and another month to receive a new one.
I made a mistake. My options are limited but I know now never to buy anything from amazon US and their fastway couriers.
How on earth does gigabyte expect this card to survive transport in a completely unpadded box. This product and it’s suppliers deserve zero stars all round.
Literally the courier dropped this at the front reception and the whole office was amazed this was a package from US. My receptionist flipped the box open with her finger and we all looked inside.

Watch YouTube vids for overclocking.
The mobo is easy to install, but had to do some things in a different order than the manual when installing a liquid cooler.
I love this mobo, CPU stays cool and there's plenty of room.
CPU power plugs must be installed before liquid cooler when using a smaller case.

Works well, but if you are planning to use it with a 9th gen processor you will need to flash the bios first. Download the firmware from the gigabyte website and load it into a usb drive. With the 9th gen processor installed you will be able to use the bios utility to flash it, but you will not be able to run an operating system before flashing.
