Da wir uns eine Bandbreitenerhöhung von 32 MBit/s auf 100 MBit/s für lediglich 5,- Euro zusätzlich gegönnt hatten, wurde nun auch ein Routeraustausch des vorhandenen nicht WLAN-tauglichen "DIR-100" erforderlich.
Durch die langjährigen Erfahrungen mit dem guten alten "DIR-100" stand für mich als IT-Spezi und Familienoberhaupt fest, dass es wieder ein Gerät von D-Link sein musste.
Somit hatte ich mir den "DIR-842" ausgeguckt, der hier im Oktober 2016 gerade mal 43,- Euro kostete.
Die Installation war kinderleicht, da selbsterklärend, und die Weboberfläche vollständig in deutsch umzustellen geht.
Per LAN angeschlossene Gerät erhalten die volle gebuchte Bandbreite (100 Down / 6 Upstream) sowie im internen LAN volle Gigabit-Unterstützung. Auch der WLAN-Durchsatz war mit beiden verfügbaren WLAN-Netzen im Nachbarraum voll gegeben.

Ich kann diesen WLAN-Router somit uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Hinweis am Rande: Für die Umstellung auf die höhere Bandbreite schickt euch Vodafone bei Vorhandensein eines alten z.B. "Motorola-Kabelmodems" gern einen neuen ROUTER zu. Dieser soll zwar auch als Modem konfigurierbar sein, stellt jedoch nur noch eine (!) der beiden gebuchten analogen Telefonleitungen zur Verfügung. Was die Fritz!-Kabelboxen übrigens auch nur machen.
Besteht einfach auf die Zusendung eines reinen Kabel-MODEMS "Cisco EPC3212". Dort könnt Ihr beide Telefonleitungen gleichzeitig nutzen und lasst euch nicht die Bandbreite klauen, denn: Die aktuell von Vodafone versendeten Router sind alle offene WLAN- Hot-Spots !
Nachtrag April 2017:
Ich hatte jetzt die Möglichkeit einen anderen DIR-842 Router mit der Revision "B" zu testen.
Der Unterschied zu meinem Gerät mit der Revision "A" ist äußerlich ein eigener Reset-Taster auf der Unterseite des Routers.
Zusätzlich ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Firmware der Revision "B" bis zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt (April 2017) seit 2016 nicht aktualisiert wurde.
Im Programm Acrylic Wi-Fi Home wird unter "Vendor" kein Hersteller angegeben. Bei Revision "A" steht dort jeweils "D-Link International".
In den 3 Tagen, wo ich das eigentlich identische Gerät der Revision "B" testen konnte, gab es unglaublich viele WLAN-Unterbrechungen.
Das bestätigen hier bereits mehrere andere Rezensenten. Somit kann ich meine 5-Sterne-Empfehlung lediglich für den DIR-842 mit der Revision "A1" geben. Sofern für die Revision "B" hier nicht kurzfristig mit einem Firmware-Upgrade nachgebessert wird, ist diese Variante leider nicht zu gebrauchen. (Beide Firmware-Versionen sehen zwar über das Web-Interface identisch aus, sind jedoch untereinander nicht kompatibel !)

Installation and setup is really good and easy. Even with no technical know how you must be able to do it.
After setup you can run a wired network with no problems it is as fast as it can be.

The problems are there when using the WiFi the signal is not even 50% when standing next to it. Go over a few rooms and it drops to non existent.
5G is less powerful as the 2.4G signal.

Overall not the right product for me.

This product is buggy, don't buy it. It's freezing all the time.. 5G channel is weak and slower thant the normal channel..

Leider für ein anderes Gerät entschieden. Versand und Kundensupport spitze gab es wirklich nicht zu meckern und auch die Verpackung war klasse
Aufgrund eines Defekts müsste das Gerät leider zurückgeschickt werden aber dies würde ohne Schwierigkeiten erledigt und auch sonst gab es keine Probleme.

Nicht zu empfehlen. Wenn mein linux hochfährt bricht die Internetverbindung am dlink ab.
Als ich mir den genauer angeschaut hatte fand ich herraus das dieses gerät einfach veraltet ist und habe mir dann wieder einen tplink angelegt.
Man kann mit dem smartphone nicht auf den dlink zugreifen.
Fazit von mir ist dass es nicht verlässlich ist und dazu veraltet

Alle Zimmer und Balkon.Kinderleichte Schnellinstallation über die Browseroberfläche.Firmware Update und fertig.

The D-Link COVR-C1102 AC1200 is a decent Mesh Wifi system.
The 1st unit must be connected via WAN and the second via LAN, when you connect the second unit by WAN, this unit goes down.
The system has been working stable (in bridge mode) for several weeks, however the speed is slow.
I have a 50 Mb/s internet connection, and I get only 30 - 40 Mb/s depending how close I am to the unit.
Noticed however that the first unit more often is around 30 Mb/s and the second around 40 Mb/s.
While testing I max 10 meters from the units.
I have tested several other Mesh accesspoints and with Zyxel Multi U, I was getting my full internet speed where ever I was in the house (alas the Zyxel was over 40 degrees Celsius when on).

Das Gerät entspricht einem günstigen WLan Router. Sendeleistung ist befriedigend. Einstellmöglichkeiten ziemlich eingeschränkt, dadurch aber auch einfach. Absolut unbefriedigend ist der Firmware Support durch D-Link. Es wurden Funktionen lt. Datenblatt nie implementiert.
Da es schon "Nachfolger" gibt, wird bestimmt nichts mehr für den Dir-882 kommen. Schade.

Sehr gutes Gerät....Kinderleichte Installation

Durch die 3 Antennen, welche in jede Richtung gedreht werden konnen, ist eine lückenlose Funknetzabdeckung möglich.

Kann den Unmut einiger anderer absolut nicht verstehen! Das ist ein super Router und das Internet rennt wie nie zuvor. Davor hatte ich die aktuellste AirPort Extreme und weder so schnelles Internet noch war das WLAN in der ganzen Wohnung verfügbar. Jetzt bis in die hinterste Ecke. Für den Preis absolutes TOP Produkt mit allen aktuellen Features eines Routers für 2018.

Allerdings ist in meiner häuslichen Umgebung mit zahlreichen benachbarten W-LAN-Netzwerken die aufwendige Konstruktion des D-Link DIR-882 mit 4 schwenkbaren Außenantennen, MU-MIMO und Beamforming nicht praxistauglich.
Tagelang habe ich den Router an verschiedenen Orten platziert und die Antennen in unterschiedlichster Weise ausgerichtet. Das Ergebnis war nie überzeugend. Eine stabile W-LAN - Versorgung durch mehr als eine Wand ist bei mir weder auf 2,4 GHZ, noch auf 5 GHz möglich.
Das erledigt die viel einfacher konstruierte Fritz!Box 7412 auf 2,4 GHz deutlich besser.
Gleichzeitig stört ein angeschlossenes USB-3-Gerät das 5GHz-W-LAN, so dass diese Kombination nicht nutzbar ist.
Damit ist das Gerät für mich unbrauchbar.

Firmware war vom Jahr 2018 bei Auslieferung. WAN-Port auf DHCP gestellt. Nimmt IP vom Provider nicht an.
Firmwareupdate auf 2019 gemacht. Nimmt IP vom Provider wieder nicht an.
IP auf fix gestellt und alle Einträge gemacht. Siehe da Internet. Aber so kann man diesen Router nicht brauchen. Wenn der Provider einmal umstellt ist das Internet weg und man muss die IP ändern.
Das Gerät geht zurück.

Ich wollte nun endlich einen zweiten AC Router anschaffen und habe mir dieses Modell hier ausgesucht. Meine Kriterien waren die folgenden:
-Mu-MIMO Unterstützung
-4x4 Quadstream
-Geschwindigkeitsklasse AC2600, also 800Mbit auf 2,4Ghz und 1733Mbit auf 5Ghz
- und natürlich Dualband
Das sind so die aktuellen Sachen, die man beachten sollte.
Nach langer Suche fällt einem dann auf das der Markt mit all den Kriterien sehr klein ist. Entweder sind die Geräte langsamer, haben mein Mu-MIMO oder unterstützen nur 3x3.
Ein anderes Gerät von Linksys liegt aktuell bei 150€. Die meisten anderen eher bei 250€ aufwärts.
Ich habe dann den Dir 882 von D-Link im Angebot für sage und schreibe 75€ bei einem anderen Händler gekauft und war sehr zufrieden. Für den Preis bekommt man aktuell kein Gerät dieser Klasse. Damit ist der Dir 882 definitiv der "biggest bang for the buck" und die günstigste Möglichkeit für aktuelles Wlan der AC Wave 2 Klasse.
Die Software auf dem Gerät ist zwar nicht der Hit aber er sollte eh nur als AP dienen. Als Router arbeitet hier eine Fritzbox 6590 Cable, also das aktuelle Cable Flagschiff, die auch zur AC2600 Wave 2 Klasse gehört.
Nach einem etwas langwierigen Konfigurationsprozess läuft bisher alles gut, aber.....Die Geschwindigkeit ist grottig!
Die Fritzbox liefert ohne Probleme Übertragungsraten von über 400Mbit auf 5Ghz mit iPhone 7 und iPad Pro (beide unterstützten 2x2 Mimo).
Den D-Link bekomme ich auf 2,4Ghz nicht über 40Mbit und auf 5Ghz nicht über 60Mbit! Das kann es einfach nicht sein. Da ich den direkten Vergleich mit der Fritzbox der selben Wlan Klasse habe, weiß ich ja das es möglich ist! Mein alter AirPort Extreme der 2. Generation hat auf 2,4 GHz die selben Raten geschafft!
Selbst mit DD-WRT hat sich nichts an den Raten geändert. Ich bin aktuell echt sauer und werde das Teil wohl zurückschicken....Auch wenn es mich ärgert da ich es so günstig bekommen habe.
Der Router liefert die selben Raten wie 5-8 Jahre alte g/n Geräte.

Mit den 5ghz könnte sich mein Handy zwar verbinden, aber beim Abrufen der ip scheiterte es. Mit dem 2,4ghz Netz ging es, aber sowohl mein Handy, als auch mein Firetv Stick verlieren regelmäßig die Verbindung.

Das Gerät ist Simi unbrauchbar. Hab dann ein Gerät von TP Link gekauft und keine Probleme mehr.

Review is for DIR-878 AC1900 Version.

So I'm a fan of DLINK gear. Full disclosure - used to work for them some 10 years back, so I know they're generally good quality and I know how the technology works. However, although the router on the surface seems to offer lightning quick speeds and really strong coverage, there are some significant flaws with this particular router that can catch you out.
*Update* - I have now fixed the issues with the help of DLINK support. the issue related to a corrupt QoS buffer, which was throttling the bandwidth throughput. so I have now upgraded the review appropriately. However, turning on any QOS still causes significant throttling across the router.

GOOD:
- Really fast speeds and strong coverage: better than my older Plusnet HubOne/BT Homehub 6.
- good value for the price
- easy to set up, and the UI has been made very simple if you''re not too technically minded
- DLink are always decent quality products & do last well. Still using my previous routers from the last decade!

BAD:
- PS4 won't connect: you need to upgrade the firmware (Ok as of firmware 1.12, I can confirm)
- too simplified for some looking for a more technical configuration capability - DLINK has dumbed down the interface and feature content a bit too much. Whilst it's now easy to set up, it's not got half the flexibility or functionality of older routers in their range. Plus, for those features it does have (eg VLAN, EasyVPN) it doesn't do a good job of explaining how to set them up and use them
- doesn't have DLNA or USB support - so it's worth paying the bit extra for the AC2600 version.

UGLY:
- On my router, some client devices have their throughput throttled because of the QOS feature. This was down to an issue with starting to use the QoS feature. DLink support helped me to fix it, but it wasn't easy. and it reoccurred as soon as I datafilled the QoS again. So IMHO I would NOT touch the QoS feature on this router, if you do make sure you do a bandwidth speed test on the devices attached to it to make sure you don't have throttling issues (you can do this by typing "speed test" into Google).
The problem was this: On some of my older tablets & some phones, the throughput is limited to less than10Mbps on 5GHz bands, and less than 2Mbps on 2.4GHz bands.. i thought this may be an issue with the devices, but they are fine on the other routers and get full throughput, even on 802.11ac - so somehow this router is throttling throughput on them, I don't know why. It's as if it is applying some form of auto-QOS on certain devices.

Summary - decent router for the price (les than sixty quid) if you need a basic but high speed functionality. Reliable and easy to set up. But over-simplified functions for the more technical minded, and worth paying a bit extra for the AC2600 version.

It didn't set up correctly using the wizard and had to contact customer services. The Dlink online chat service was excellent. Switched it off for 10 seconds and back on again and it was up and running. However, most web pages didn't open. Instructions on how to fix this were far too complicated for me so I used a lead from my router to my laptop. No wifi basically for important internet tasks. After literally a handful of days the internet light went red. First time this happened I switched it off and on and it worked.

Second time it happened and there is nothing I can do. There is no help using Google to fix the problem either. I did notice that the date and time had stopped working automatically. So I looked at the online manual (using hardwire ethernet from my modem to my laptop (and on here as well) and learned how to fix that. I switched the entire thing off and gave it a rest as this did not resolve the problem. Turned it all back on again, reset it and started again. No joy. Still a red internet light. It's sitting on an open surface, not near anything in the way to interfere with it, tried ethernet linkup to go through the wizard instead of wifi additionally. Still no joy. I'm totally unimpressed.

Note to all reading this as well, even when it was all up and running after initial set up problems, the packet data is abysmal. Photos and files from my mobile phone take longer to upload than they did when there was no broadband and old fashioned dialup was the only service. It was like a time warp back to those days only worse. Only had my Laptop, TV and Mobile connected to it - I don't have loads of gadgets - it's just me here with the minimal and it's a really poor piece of kit. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I wonder how many people actually have this thing set up and wonder why web pages aren't opening, mainstream ones. It's similar to a timeout when web pages are loading, leaving many less techy people wondering if they need to upgrade their laptop or if there is a problem with their web browser. Etc.

I'm sending it straight back and getting a refund to spend on something better. It's cheap price but not worth the cheap price.

D Link DIR-882 AC2600 EXO MU-MIMO Wi-Fi Router

I got this router as I needed to replace one which I was using to separate my own setup from the rest of the house. My previous one did not have WiFi and having WiFi was not a priority as I am using wired connections, but is a nice to have for the future.

Ok I have to admit I did not download the user manual before purchase, I always recommend to everyone to do this, but on this occasion I didn't. If I did I probably would not have got this router.

Unpacking, you have the router, power supply, with interchangeable pins for Europe and the UK, a patch cable and a quick start guide.

First impressions:

1. The router is a plastic wedge shape, which all routers seem to be now (not sure why). The plastic does seem a bit cheap, my previous router, was all metal and roughly the same price (adjusted for today's prices), so not sure how long this router will last.
2. Fairly big in size for what it actually is and takes a fair amount of space.
3. As others have stated the power cable it woefully short, which meant that the DLink is half sitting on the edge of my desk. Rather than in my preferred place where the old router was located So extension cable is needed.
4. As I was not going to use WiFi the aerials were not needed, so went to see if I can remove them (on some routers you can), don't seem to be able to. So the aerials have be extended up in order to access the Ethernet ports on the back, so taking up more space and requiring more rearrangement of my desk.
5. Four lights on the front but no indicators for which port on the back is being used and the activity, so lacks some of the basics that my old router had.

So no show stoppers, but not great first impressions.

So plugged it (using an extension power cord) all directly to my laptop off the Internet to configure it. The first thing I wanted to do is turn off the WiFi, there is a button for that on the back of the device. Great, but it didn't seem to do anything WiFi seem to remain on. Had to manually turn it off from the management console (both frequencies) to be sure, then WiFi lights went out.

To set it up there is a wizard you can use, but for my purpose I configured it manually. It did not take too long to get on line and performance over my old router was much better.

I started to look at the more detailed configurations to set it up how I wanted and this is where things do not go so well.

1. There is no indication that the firewall is on by default, there is no default rule visible to deny all incoming connections as most firewalls and routers would have. By default, Enable SPI IPv4, Enable Anti-spoof Checking and the other settings are all disabled, I turned them on, but there is no indication that the the firewall is on. I could not find a switch that states the firewall is on, there is title banner that says "Your router's high-performance firewall feature continuously monitors Internet traffic" but it did not really fill me with confidence and the instructions (after downloading) really do not indicate if firewall is on and if a default rule is in place.

2. The log file (which would indicate if the firewall was doing something) cannot be viewed in the console, needs to be downloaded and then opened in Excel or in my case Notepad++ (not standard Windows Notepad). Both my Sky router and old router allows me to view the log in the console. Just another faff

3. The firmware was from July 2017, it stated that it was the latest version, but there seem to be a new version from October 2018 on the DLink site for this router. Manually downloaded the file and tried to upgrade and it won't upgrade.

4. Was having a lot of problems connecting my HP network printer up to the router, no problems with previous router which was a case of plugging in and away you go.

5. Any changes to the router takes anything from 30 - 80 seconds to apply, which is just plain annoying if you need to make lots of changes on different pages of the console.

So this router does not fill me huge amount of confidence that it will securely separate my network from the rest of the house. I know you get what you pay for, to be honest my old router cost about the same (adjusted for today's prices) and is a lot more powerful from a security and management perspective.

Sending it back and looking for a new one, and downloading the manual first before ordering. If you want a basic router then this may work for you but would suggest that you look somewhere else.

Dopo aver collegato DIR-842 a un PC e a una fonte Internet (nel mio caso un Tim Hub), il router avvia automaticamente la procedura guidata di configurazione Web-based, che consente di configurare le impostazioni di rete e Wi-Fi e impostare una password del router. L'intero processo dura meno di 5 minuti ed è molto intuitivo.

È possibile modificare le impostazioni del DIR-842 utilizzando la console di gestione da browser o scaricare l'app iOS o Android e gestire tutto utilizzando il telefono o il tablet. La console di gestione offre numerose impostazioni di base e avanzate ed è facile da navigare.
La schermata principale visualizza una semplice mappa di rete dei client collegati e l'indirizzo IP, la subnet mask e il gateway predefinito del router.
C'è un'intuitiva procedura guidata di installazione, nonché le impostazioni wireless, Internet e di rete. Le impostazioni wireless di base consentono di abilitare o disabilitare ciascuna banda, denominare il proprio SSID e modificare le password. Le impostazioni wireless avanzate includono le impostazioni della modalità di sicurezza (WEP e WPA-Personal), le impostazioni della modalità 802.11, la selezione del canale Wi-Fi, la larghezza del canale e le impostazioni di potenza di trasmissione. Qui è anche possibile impostare programmi di accesso e reti ospiti.

Le impostazioni avanzate includono il motore QoS di D-Link, che utilizza un semplice metodo di trascinamento della selezione per assegnare la priorità di rete a vari client, le impostazioni del firewall IPv4 e IPv6, le impostazioni di Port Forwarding e Filtro siti Web e le route statiche. La schermata Gestione offre le impostazioni di Registri di sistema, Aggiornamenti del firmware, Statistiche di rete (monitoraggio del traffico) e Amministrazione password.

Per concludere, grazie al router Wi-Fi D-Link AC1200 (DIR-842), non devi spendere molto per coprire la tua casa con un'efficace rete wireless a doppia banda.
Un contro è sicuramente la mancanza di una porta USB, che farebbe comodo a molti.
Certo, non è convenientissimo ma con meno di 50 euro ottieni la tecnologia 802.11ac, 4 porte LAN e prestazioni veloci a 5GHz.
Di conseguenza, DIR-842 è il mio nuovo punto d'accesso preferito in casa, distruggendo il Modem del gestore, acerbo in tanti aspetti, Hardware e Software.

I bought one of these last week at £79 to replace my asus rt-ac66u. To put it bluntly it went back the same day! What a total load of rubbish this router is. I have 20+ devices on my network plus phones and tablets etc. This thing would only find 10 of them occasionally a few more, my wireless printer was lost too. I could ping some of them over the network but the router would not display them in the setup pages. I was going to put ddwrt on it but decided against it. as I was so unimpressed by the whole thing. If your not bothered about managing your network or just want something for a few devices then maybe it's for you. Another problem I had was the supposedly amazing Qos I'm on 350mb from virgin and if I tried to use the Qos my speed would drop to around 150mb no matter what I tried. Be Warned!

AC1200 review
This seems to have been made for when ISP's modems were separate from their routers. In which case the instructions are probably fine. However if your ISP's router has the modem built in, as most, if not all, have these days the included instructions aren't going to work. Or maybe cable modems are still separate but I don’t have cable so I can’t comment on that.
I'm using a SKY router with a built in ADSL modem, I've turned off the wireless on that (it’s really very bad) and am using the D-link to provide the wireless and as an extra 3 LAN ports (3 because the sky router is plugged into one of them) If you intend to use your ISP's router/modem combo you need to ignore the instructions and plug the cable into one of the LAN ports, not the yellow internet port.
You also need to ignore the warning on the router management configuration page that you don't have it set up correctly.
If you don’t want to use it as a DCHP server either (which you won’t in the above scenario) you have to turn a lot of things off in the config.
You need to give it an IP address in the same range as your main router.
Turn off the internet settings
Turn off the firewall
Turn off UPnP
Turn off the DCHP server (do this last or you won’t be able to log back in to the config page)

It’s all a bit of a pain to get working properly. Once all that is done though it seems to work fine. I only just plumbed it all in so I won't review its features or durability.

The router access point combo allows for easy setup and has an extensive array of features. This includes 4 separate SSIS's 2x 5 GHz 2x 2.4 GHz. The wireless encryption settings do not give an option however, so I assume they default to the most secure as of now (WPA2 PSK).

The GUI on the web setup and on the app was clean and 'intuitive'. Raising the router slightly had a huge beneficial impact on the range.

Tips:
-To make an SSID open you just have to remove all the characters in the password.
-I made the mistake of not pushing the Ethernet cable the whole way in during testing. The port was tight (this is always a pro).
-For initial setup if you want more granular control, do not connect it to the modem immediately. Otherwise it will automatically pass-through the modems setup

Bought as we have an old free modem from broadband provider and I am experiencing lag while using ps4 on fifa19 to keep in touch with my brother in South America (his broadband is fine). Speed test shows no improvement and actually the online experience is worse. Before the game used to buffer if lots of devices were also online, now the game quits and says I left. Speed test says 37 download 7 upload but it’s not coping.

Update after a month. Much much worse speeds than my older router, sometimes there is no internet, sometimes doesn't work its user set password and needs to have the password it came with put in but will then need the user password when connecting another day. Have gone back to using my old router.

Ich habe dieses Produkt gekauft, da mein ursprünglicher D-Link Router nach 8 Jahren kaputt gegangen ist. Die Installation war sehr einfach über die App meines Smartphones. Alle relevanten Einstellungen konnten problemlos eingerichtet und auf den Router gespeichert werden. Das Gerät wird im Betrieb auch nicht so warm und ist absolut leise. Die WLAN stärke auch durch mehrere Türen und Wänden ist akzeptabel auch für das IPAD. Zu dem Preis ist das Gerät auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert und absolut ausreichend.

Интернет у нас дома часто стал работать нестабильно, и я решил, что пора обновить роутер. Этот привлек меня своими характеристиками и положительными отзывами. После настройки нового роутера интернет заработал намного стабильнее. Сигнал сильный и устойчивый, покрывает всю квартиру без проблем. Настройка прошла быстро и легко, даже без помощи специалиста. Теперь все устройства дома подключены к стабильному интернету, и мы можем спокойно работать и отдыхать в сети. Роутер оправдал все мои ожидания и стал отличным решением для нашего дома.

Как говорится, скупой платит дважды. Купил совсем дешевый роутер, он сломался наверное за месяц где-то и решил что-то получше все таки взять. Купил этот, потому что с производителем уже был знаком. Почему сразу такой не взял не знаю, потому что работает он как надо. И цена еще в целом приемлимая вполне, за такое качество так вообще мало. Покрытие идет хорошее и на всю квартиру распределяется отлично. Сбоев в работе не замечал, настраивается все легко и стандратно, так что я доволен остался, рекомендую.

Приобрели D link dir 620s , взамен окончательно устаревшего dir300. Настроили сами, хоть и пришлось по возиться. Отношения к айти на какого не имеем, максимум, это уверенный пользователь. Роутер работает. В четырех комнатной квартире (70+) м ², уверенный сигнал везде. Покупкой довольны. У нас скорость 2,4 ггц

Недавно я организовывала вечеринку на открытом воздухе и решила установить временный Wi-Fi для гостей. Этот роутер отлично справился с задачей, обеспечив стабильный и быстрый интернет в течение всего вечера. Гости были в восторге, и мероприятие прошло на ура!

Установил как мост. Оказывается для этого нужно вдеть провод, если не вдеть то не работает. По моему может работать и как мост по Вайфаю, но это не точно.

Где то 2 года пользовался. Дома и на работе такие были. Дома пошли проблемы с вайфаем. На работе с раздачей интернета на LAN. Где то пол года ругал провайдеров когда инет пропадал а дело было в этом чудо-аппарате! Они как бы работают и как бы не работают, по желанию короче. Прошивки ничем не помогли.

Отличный товар. Замечательный продавец. Коробка обмотана упаковочной пленкой с пузырьками в несколько слоев, что исключает повреждения. Наклеили наклейку "ХРУПКОЕ". В общем получил отличный роутер в целости и сохранности. Быстро настроил и пользуюсь с удовольствием.

На даче приклеил к стене двусторонним скотчем, работает в паре с 4G модемом, никаких нареканий нет. Напряжение питания стандартное — 12В, то есть при необходимости можно запитывать от автомобильного аккумулятора.

Купили роутер для настройки на нём принт-сервера. Работает отлично! Теперь принтер подключён по USB к роутеру, роутер в режиме клиента подключён по WiFi к главному интернет роутеру. Получилось без проводов поставить принтер в любое место в квартире.

Зря потраченное время... Придется нести обратно..

У кого есть 4g usb свисток и нужно организовать какой-нибудь Wi-Fi, то норм. Камеры поставить на удаленке или инет в огороде. Если что посерьёзнее, то ищите другой аппарат.

Покупал для офиса специально с USB портом чтобы воткнуть в роутер Yota-й модем и раздавать интернет по WiFi на 3 компьютера. Роутер подхватил модем на ура специальных настроек никаких не делал. Я очень доволен. Сейчас у меня в офисной сети WiFi 3 компьютера и два беспроводных принтера цветной лазерный Pantum 1100DW и ч/б лазерный МФУ Pantum 7100DW.
