I purchased my iPad 3rd Gen last year in July and I haven't had a problem with it ever since. I would recommend buying your iPad here. I bought mine for $700+ and I saw that it's for $500+ now. Wow! That's really a great deal! Of course with high tech gadgets, when you wait a year or so the price decreases dramatically. Who waits that long to buy a new toy to play with? It's still cheaper than buying it on apple.com though.

Great product. After reviewing and waiting to make a tablet purchase, I decided to purchase iPad. And I Am please to say that I made a great choice.

Pros: Excellent battery life and incredible screen. Great sound quality.Cons: could benefit with a mini-usb port and a larger hard drive

I really enjoy my iPAD. So glad I bought it with the wi fi.Love the white color matches mi iPhone 5.Set them both up on my Version account linked them together.

The price point is the only part that stings, other than that Apple has the best tablets on the market. Since we already have several apple devices and lots of apps and media purchased through itunes, this tablet made the most sense for our family. Sharp display, snappy operating system, I'm very happy with it.

Apple decided to change the standard 30-pin connector to an 8-pin connector for some reason, so my new iPad is not compatible with the devices I used to use in conjunction with it. The speed is good, the display is nice, the camera is better, but there's not enough of an improvement to put up with the hassle of the new connector. I'm going to go back to the iPad 3.

I'm in Canada so purchasing this used and having it shipped to Washington saved me a lot of money! I will be using it for my store cash register. I also use it for skype to do calls to my clients and manufacturers. I'm not good with gadgets but I'm figuring it out more and more all the time. I love it!

Just stopped working, nothing on screen, even when plugged into computer, blank screen. Very disappointed as it was working fine for 3 weeks. This was sold as a brand new IPad, but I have to think it was a refurbished one. There was no cleaning rag or warranty paperwork in the box. When I bought my first generation IPad from Apple all of that was included. Not a big deal, but I think we deserve what we order, if it says brand new, get a new one. Sent it back to Amazon, now waiting to see that I get the refund they promise.

I previously had the IPad 1 and liked it so much that I wanted to upgrade to this Ipad 4....... I'm so glad I did! This has the cameras and the capability of talking live while seeing who I'm talking to plus instant messaging. I also have a printer that is compatible with this Ipad 4. Being wireless I can carry it all over my house but I mostly use it while lying in my bed as I'm handicapped. I just love my new toy!

I am still in the learning curve but I think I will love it. The Kindle Fire had been adequate until I lost Wi-Fi access at a place where I spend a lot of time. I needed to be able to buy my own data time, which this iPad does. I have had some trouble finding some apps I want in the App store, even though I know they exist (my friend has them)..

Lightweight, intuitive, and well designed. The Retina display is stunning. You'll want a protective case and some screen protectors to keep your iPad looking fresh.

Tablets are, arguably, luxury toys for rich people. They are cool toys, but the truth is tablets aren't yet QUITE as amazing as they need to be to fully justify their price and status.The screen. Let's take the glass half empty view. A 9.7 inch screen is still a small screen compared with a laptop or desktop. Only the prevalence of smarphones allows us to perceive it as big. Ten years ago what would people have said about an amazing computer---with a big 9.7 inch screen! And it costs more than many desktops! And 264 pixels per inch is record breaking for a medium/small screen screen but it's still low compared with almost all modern smartphones. So its screen lacks the size of a desktop or laptop screen and it lacks the extreme clarity of a smartphone screen. You COULD argue it's the worst of both worlds.If and when tablets move to 300 pixels per inch, they will be truly amazing, mind blowing, earth shattering devices. Ultra clarity like a smartphone but much more size! Such devices might be so amazing that they cause smartphones to go extinct.In the meantime, while the new iPad is a major step in the right direction, it's still not quite ready--like a Thanksgiving turkey that was taken out of the oven just a bit too early.

This is my third iPad and it has been great. I passed on my other iPads to my kids and bought this unit for myself.Outstanding visuals, the retina display is amazing. The iTunes store is still the best for apps.

I continue to be amazed. I did have an ASUS Transformer Prime TF201. Apple is clearly a better tablet. It is so smooth and well designed. I now plan to purchase my next phone from Apple.

I had been thinking about buying and Ipad for about a year, and finally purchased this one about two months ago. I'm so glad I did! Some of my friends have various tablets (Kindle Fire HD, Samsung, etc), and they just don't stand up to the Ipad. The touch-sensitivity response is so smooth and immediate, and the operating system is the most stable and easist to use. I can't get over the clarity of the Retina Display, and I easilty get 10 hours of use on each charge. I have noticed that it is a bit heavier than previous versions and other tablets, but honestly, I like the sturdy feel of metal and glass vs plastic. Wi-fi is very fast, and the selection of apps is incredible. If you're in the market for a tablet, this is the one!

When I first got it my music wouldn't download from the cloud. Went to local apple store reset the iPad and it was perfect. The iPad is wonderful,I take it with me everywhere. It's really fast the retina display makes pics vivid.
