The iPad is a great machine, but it's not a PC, and it's hard to get used to that fact. It's great for taking on vacation, but for every day use, it's mostly just a toy--as all tablets are.

I may be very late to the game but I have not been impressed with Windows lately and I have been a devotee for a very long time. Prior to owning this product I had bought a Apple iPod touch 8GB Black (4th Generation) and I really fell in love with the sleek design and smooth operation of the OS. I took it to Japan with me in February 2012 and was able to connect to Wi-Fi flawlessly and check email, connect socially without any hiccups. That spurred desire for more that Apple could do. For my birthday in April 2012 I was fortunate enough to get an iPad from my dad and I immediately fell in head over heels. The retina display is amazing and crisp, and the OS is sleek and flawless. I use my iPad on a daily basis for nearly everything. Instead of booting up my computer which is Windows 7 OS to look for something, I can go straight to my iPad and find what I need practically instantly. My boyfriend is in the military and living in another state and this has been extremely beneficial for both of us to keep in contact daily via FaceTime over Wi-Fi. I'm not a specs girl, I just like that it's a well made device that serves it's purpose for what I use it for. It's an excellent tablet and I have no complaints about it.

This nothing more to say for this because it speak for it self the apple iPad 4 god I'm glad I bought this baby for me for movies, games and music and I bought it for my mother for work and to keep in touch will all of us.

Got mine for 550. It works great! It's strange using this iPad then going to my iPhone.. It makes the iPhone look so small and I feel like I'm going blind when I look at my iPhone after using the iPad for a while. Great product!!

I had an original iPad - had to return the first one after a week but the free replacement worked fine. Bought an iPad 4. Had to return the first one because it would not connect to any projector. Took the replacement home and spent 6 hours trying to get everything to work correctly, mostly the email. I finally gave up on email and suddenly it began working 2 days later. Now I cannot get Bluetooth to work. I am stuck with the choice of living without it or going through the whole process again with a replacement. Also, battery life does not seem to be as good as my first generation.As far as Apple service, I cannot give enough praise. Technicians are great and appointments are kept on time. However there seems to be some bugs in the iPad 4 - at least the ones I get.

I love it. It's nice and fast and holds a lot of information. I'm still adding stuff but have transferred my Nook books and that took no time at all. Still adding features. Camera is GREAT and picture quality is so clear and color so vivid.

iPad Retina display is great but do NOT buy from iPadShop. Advertised as new but you actually get a refurbished one with expired or almost expired warranty. If you have already bought one from iPadShop, make sure to check its warranty with your device Serial Number.

The ipad is pretty cool but lack of a swype keyboard and serious apps to support heterogenous office productivity apps is a real problem. Great presentation but real productivity apps are still lacking. I use apple, Linux and Microsoft apps as part of my daily life.

Easy to use, i'am 66 years old and just love using the I-pad. The pictures you can take with it are super great. Very easy to type, no need for external key board.

Used an iPod for three years then went to an iPhone 5 before breaking down and spending the money for the iPad. I have a computer that hardly gets used anymore since this purchase. As long as there is a Wi-Fi close by it gets used.Even watch Netflix movies, text, play games, search web. This thing is really nice!

this is my first tablet and i and i love it! the picture is so unbelievably clear! now i don't have to be a prisoner to what my husband wants to watch on tv. he can watch what he wants on tv and i can sit next to him and watch what i want to on my i-pad.

I have read many good and bad reviews about this iPad. I decided to buy this iPad for which I have no regret. I have absolutely no problem. It works excellent. What I like about it is that it is so program that you have no problem getting your way around on it. I will recommend to everyone who has doubt about getting an iPad. Thumbs up!!!!

It is taking a little getting used to, but does what I had hoped. The speech app mimics a special purpose communication device that costs 20 times as much. I think we will like it even more as we learn to use it fully.

This is a wonderful tablet. It is extremely user friendly and I love the keyboard, especially in landscape view.Delivery time was excellent and I am giving it an all round 5 stars.Thanks Apple and Amazon for a great product.

I bought the first iPad when it debuted a few years ago and it has gotten heavy use by my wife and son ever since. A few things happened recently. I bought a 13" MacBook Pro, but I haven't completely transferred iTunes from my PC desktop to the MB. That said, when I received this iPad 4 as a gift, I let it sit in the box for a few days while I thought about how I would transfer iTunes to the MB and start the new iPad with a fresh sync. Well, I scrapped that idea and opened the unit anyway. To my surprise, the cloud service automatically copied the apps, calendar, contacts, bookmarks etc to the new unit. I can not describe clear enough what a relief the setup was.I am super happy with this product. The retina display is nice, the speed is very good. I'm happy that all of my computing is so much easier the more I have integrated my data into this Apple world. I have used PC's for over 20 years and have never particularly liked Apple. I only wished I had moved over sooner.

We ordered a used ipad and were a bit nervous about how the condition would be upon arrival. We were more than impressed with the quality if the iPad, it was better than we had hoped and looked brand new. The software was up to date and it even came with a screen cover. The iPad got to us in record time, taking only a few days to get here. The iPad is just as fast as my last one and works perfectly. I would highly recommend this company.

Was very nervous at first because I have never ordered anything over $50 for Amazon.To my surprise this ipad delivered and exceeded my expectations.After 5 months it works just as good as the day I bought it.I recommend this product to anyone.I am sold on Amazon as the number one online marketplace!!Oh an Amazon Prime is worth it!!

I have the first iPad and now the this one and really there isn't that much difference between the two except the retina display. Another thing, if you think you want to use the iPad for your PDF files, think again. It's a lot more trouble just to load the files, not worth it.

I love my iPad !! Other than my car, this has to be my favorite purchase EVER!! It is fun, easy to use, and extremely handy. It takes marvelous pictures and videos. It amazes me how much my iPad can do...
