I bought this for my wife who has been having more problems with arthritis as she ages and would not come easily to the computer to look at her emails. Now I send them to her iPad and she looks at them in her chair and she is saying she wants to do other computer things with her iPad. I am happy for her and glad to see her showing more interest in keeping up and learning new things.

My only comment about all tech things, ie. tablets, smart phones etc. is that the manufacturers assume that the only people who buy these things are the 10 year old to 30 something year old set who were raised on computers and tech gadgets. The user guide is pretty much worthless to the rest of us. I haven't been able to even connect the blasted thing properly to my computer thus have been unable to use it. I was hoping to become more up to date...it seemed the whole world owned a tablet except me. I know that once I get it all figured out it will be cool...but getting there is the hard part. Today I go to visit my 14 year old neice...she will get it up and running. I feel so dumb when it comes to tech stuff...and even dumber when I can't understand the user guide - which by the way is so small it fits into the palm of your hand, meaning that the type needs to be read with a magnifying glass.....and I'm hardly old at 53...or am I? Again, once it all gets figured out I'm sure I'm going to like it a lot.

Can't believe the price offered on this iPad. Received the unit within a week and was packaged well. Very east to set up and all my purchased items were stored on the cloud and downloaded easily. Very happy with the iPad 4

Like the iPad3. Lots of apps. Easy to use. 4glte is a nice addon as backup to wifi. Cellular antenna gets more bars than my phone.

My only problem with it is that Safari doesn't work. I can never connect to Wifi with it. I have to go into settings; click other; etc. sometimes I connect, sometimes not.

This is an iPad. It works wonderfully as such. It makes for a lousy Android tablet. It has good battery life, but is not a good replacement for batteries generally. The retina display is crisp, but compares unfavorably with a frosty autumn morning. It's too heavy too be a replacement for your kindle, but would be a wonderful alternative to avoid carrying around a complete encyclopedia. If you like Apple products you will love it. However, I do not recommend baking it into a pie.

I love my ipad. I hardly ever use my laptop anymore. It is a wonderful device, but that is coming from someone who likes apple products. Seriously, if you are considering getting an ipad go for it!! They are fun and offer a lot of great apps that I plan on using for my classes when I start school in the fall.

For the price you can't beat it. It's nearly 1/2 the cost of the apple ones and includes protection for the back of the iPad as well. It's not perfect, and I'm sure it'll wear out faster than the apple ones, but for 25-30 you can't beat it.

I never thought I could be "hooked" so quickly. The ease of retrieving email, sending messages, ordering books for my Kindle, searching for info from wherever I happen to be has been so much fun.

Light reflects on screen when using a stand making it difficult to see. It becomes heavy when holding it for long periods. When tapping a highlighted area to open another screen, the screen asks if you want to copy, instead of opening the tab.

For that I haven't used a lot, it could feel that it was in a quite good condition. I felt like I got a new one. I'll have to see with more time and use, but so far, no problem.

So I've heard they stopped making the ipad 3 within the first year of its release in attempts to release the ipad 4 and make more money which is just horrible because I absolutely love my ipad 3. I wish they didn't just stop producing it so fast and am happy to have gotten one before they did.

The touch screen of the iPad does not work well using a finger, so a capacitive stylus is a must have and Apple does not provide one with the iPad. Battery operating time on a single charge is extraordinary! Manual switches on the sides of the iPad are difficult to operate, especially with a cover on the iPad. The cost of a cover for the iPad is extremely high, and they are not well thought out designs. The iPad is not a replacement for a laptop, but it is very convenient for travel. I like the big screen. Safari, an app, is clumsy to use. Google history is much more convenient. The History app gives you excellent TV programing.

I'm a "Mac Guy", so slipping into this was beyond easy! Coupled with my Snugg leather cover, it's a great "go-between" from my ipod and Mac Book. I wouldn't hesitate recommending it to anyone, and especially through Amazon!

Love our I pad and thought it would be a great gift for our nieces husband. He drives a truck and sometimes he has to stay over night. A great gift for him. He loves it!!!!It was delivered earlier than expected, which was great. Would recommend it to everyone.

I liked a lot. The battery works well. It is a little bit heavy. Now I think I should have bought the small one. But the ipad is great for the ones used to itunes.

I am a newcomer to iPad. I have a Nook, and love it, and didn't think I would have any real need or use for an iPad. However, I am loving it because there are so many more Apps for iPad than for other tablets. I went with the "lots of memory" one because for the price difference between it and its lesser cousin (64 GB) it is worth going for the one with more memory. Highly recommend.
