I purchased the black 64 gig model.It is very nice! Amazing resolution. Very fast and smooth video playback.As a systems engineer, I must say, this is the state of the art machine.No problems with over heating.Very fast and responsive.Blows my other devices out of the water.iPhone 4 & 5, both my Kindles...Still like my Kindle Fire HD for reading though...So, buy one, you will not be sorry!I'm glad I waited for this deal, oh, I also signed up for an Amazon Rewards card and got $50 off. Yes!!!

Does what you expect with min fuss. Its Apple after all. Many other have written about issues and features etc. I am only saying that on Prime delivery and when it was Tax free - This was a cost effective way to purchase - Now Amazon are playing on a level field, they are not lower cost anymore!

Pretty pricey, but it's such a nice device to have around. I do my photography on it, watch movies, play games and more. Hopefully it'll last for years to come.

Bought mainly for spouse, who has become a regular user, liking the touch screen methods. But sometimes too responsive if fingers or stylus get too near.(without touching) But, overall, very good experience!

For those that don't know: microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. are all avaiable for FREE at the apple App Store. The name of the program is OnLive Desktop. No issue with product however I found out I could not get a warranty through apple after I pourchased off of Amazon. I was told by apple after I took the ipad to the apple store that they would not warranty the ipad because the 30 day grace period had expired. I showed them my amazon receipt and told them I purchased the item just two days prior however after they ran the serial number I was advised that the ipad had been purchased by a company months before, voiding the warranty. I did not buy from this specific seller however beware that if you purchase off of amazon from a third party seller you may be voiding the chance of warranty..

I bought this iPad as a refurb. I was a bit concerned as to what I was going to receive. The description said it had a screen protector and that it was like new. When I received it, it did have a factory like screen cover and the iPad itself was immaculate (just as if I purchased a new one). The price was excelled too.

This is a nice piece of kit, the screen is amazing and photos and videos look really crisp, the OS seems stable and there are countless good apps and games in the appstore to keep you busy and entertained. Email works great and internet is great on a tablet. Bit of a hefty price tag tho. I found a great book on getting started with iPads Using iPad (Computer Training)

At this point, does anyone even read reviews for the iPad? I'm an Android fan. I love that I can customize everything and that it's an open system, but when it comes to tablets, iPad is still king as far as I'm concerned. The device is VERY fast, the screen is stunning and the battery lasts forever. Personally, I also LOVE that it's NOT 16x9. Almost every Android tablet has a 16x9 screen, and that makes the landscape mode just about useless. iPad retains a 4x3 aspect ratio so is useful in either orientation. Can't go wrong.

The iPad for is a great product for college, it is very convenient to have your books right on your tablet. Not having to carry a huge book to class is amazing. Great features and games from the store is also available. I love my iPad.
