I love my iPad !! Other than my car, this has to be my favorite purchase EVER!! It is fun, easy to use, and extremely handy. It takes marvelous pictures and videos. It amazes me how much my iPad can do...

Superb in every respect. Best thing I ever brought. Sold my iPod touch 5g and Sony 42 inch led tv to justify cost and feel I came out ahead. I like this thing a lot. Had it a month now. Likin it more than ever. Once you go Retina, you can Never go back. Far as I am concerned, my laptop can sit in that pawnshop til it rots away to nothing. I'm not sure i can or will eer back to that hunk of garbage. A 350 dollar hp I bought brand new in auGust 2011, and eighteen months later, one hour of use and it gets hot enough to fry bacon on. Piece of junk. Ad I believe it's truly the only time in life I had a problem with electronic item. Cuz I don't use them too much. Te ipad has been awesome.

I love Apple! I have the iPhone 5 and the iPod touch 4th gen, and this was something missing. Ccertainly the iPad with retina display is awesome!

I had been wanting an iPad since it is smaller than a laptop and easier to take everywhere. I still use my laptop the most but once I get used to the iPad that will probably change. I do wish there had been an owners manual with it (paper version) and I'm sure there are a lot of things I could be doing with it that I don't know how. I will learn in time though.

I have wanted one of these I-pads since they came out, but was finally able to get one. It is so versatile and useful in many situations where using my lap-top would be difficult. I love it!

sense i got the iPad until now it does not work good specially battery it takes more than 20 hours to charge. Also, when i use it it get very hot i cant hold it. So, I contact with the seller and he didnt response at all.

It is so much easier than a laptop to tote and use when traveling. The thing that I don't like is that it doesn't work with adobe flash player, though I have been able to live without it. I use it practically every day in some form, if just listening to the music that is stored on it or an internet radio app. There are plenty of apps to choose from both free and pay for. The battery life is amazing. I can use it for short periods of times throughout the day and not have to recharge for days. The picture quality is excellent, but I would have liked stereo speakers over the mono speaker.

FYI to potential buyer: I needed to install iOs 6 update in order to install certain apps. The Apple store which did it for me with their software searched the registration and found that this iPad was two years old from the time of manufacture. (Hence, I'm sure, the discounted price.) Nothing wrong with the unit, it is brand new, just that it had the old iOS.5. I believe seller should disclose provenance and date of manufacture.

I got this because I was bored but have always felt turned off and intimidated by technology. So when it arrived I did not open the box for weeks until a friend came to visit and set the whole thing up for me. Now I use it all the time and really love it.

It's much more expensive than a laptop, probably has more graphics power and more reliable, but besides that it's not there yet. Even with the supercharged Apple A6X dual core processor CPU it's still not enough to get rid of the laggggg that I get when I go to different websites and besides that the other issue is that it doesn't do flash, but that's not much of an issue with HTML 5 I can do almost everything a laptop can. I'm using the iPad with a keyboard and it feels almost like a laptop.Not exactly 5 stars, but close, it's a very very very good substitute and the battery life is much better than a laptop/s.

We love our iPads not sure what we did before them. I went with the 3rd generation because I heard the new ipad has a different charger than the 3rd and we already had a 3rd an wanted to be able to interchange them.

Since i bought the ipad for $100 below retail I was very nervous that I'd bring the iPad to Verizon and it would be defective or incompatible with their network but everything was perfect. For some reason it didn't have a SIM card but they gave me one for free.So glad I went to Verizon before I bought the iPad to ask about locked vs unlocked iPads etc.I was also nervous we wouldn't get service at our cottage in the boonies but using my iPhone as a personal hotspot worked well...as well as the spotty reception amongst the trees could be expected to work anyhow. My wife loves it for Pinterest and the kids love games on it. I love the picture and video quality and I can watch MLB game on it wherever I want!

Magnificient! This is the second iPad I buy. Compared to the standard screen, the large retina retina display is truly stunning, especially for reading. I know it is expensive, but we only live once....

As a previous android user, I was against apple products. BUT I am so very glad I made the switch!!! I couldn't be happier with the IPad and Iphone products. They are very user friendly and super convienent.I purchased the IPad through Amazon and am very very happy about it. It arrived quickly and was packed securely. It is also very easy to set up myself

LOVE my new iPad. I've become so addicted that I carry it everwhere (fits in a medium-sized messenger bag with no problem). I back up to iCloud so I can share ALL my necessary info between my iPhone and my iPad. I've installed several productivity apps that come very close to replacing the Microsoft products I used on my laptop - and what a difference to routinely carry approximately 2 lbs of technology to and from work instead of the 7.5 lbs of my (13" screen) laptop.
