Pros: excellent color. Lighter than a desktop or notebook.Cons: Cannot print except to limited number of printers (no lasers). Does not support Adobe Flash - forget most videos. Software different than regular computer. i.e. on Amazon less choices when checking out and less info about products. Touching screen does not always work and ofter works when you do not want it to. Mouse is more accurate and less mistakes. Still better than Kindle Fire but more expensive.

This IPAD 3 is breathe taking!Photos look so amazing on this screen. The only bad thing is once you put photos on you can't get them off to a memory card. This is a great product and I will get another one.

My ipad is coming today, i havent used it yet. but last christmas i thought that a nook tablet was a cheaper version of this, HELL NO. I used to friends ipad 2, 10,000x more apps. Nook and kindle fire dont even have a camera... most of the apps cost money and are a rip off... :/

This is the iPad to get. If you have never owned an iPad before or are still using your 1st generation iPad, it is time to give in and buy one of these babies. The screen is beautiful. You know your nice HD tv at home? This has 1 million MORE pixels than that TV! It's got 1GB of ram, a faster A5X processor, and still manages to keep the 10 hour battery life! What more can you ask for?This is one of the best travel devices ever. Load it up with some games, movies, music, magazines and even books! You can travel internationally and not have to worry about running out of battery mid flight. I love my iPad and it will continue to go with me on every flight I make to keep me entertained.

Waited until the new ipad came out and really pleased with the great things it can do. No more carrying piles of paper to meetings as all files, emails and attachments can be stored on ipad. Getting to internet is easy and photos look great.

Hello, I am a professional singer and I am very happy with my new IPAD. I think that it is all that I need to keep my music, my videos, lyrics and I am about to buy an IRIG PRE to make my own sound in my venues.I think that was a good decision to buy the NEW IPAD.

This little gadget is extremely powerful. The 32GB version is all the memory that I will ever need. I like the feature that enables me to access my email from Outlook through our internet provider. The camera is awesome too.

I have had iPads for about a year now. I knew the moment I read all of the updates for the new iPad that I had to have it! I am not disappointed in the least! The retina display alone is worth the price! Pictures and text just literally jump off the screen at you! I have had no issues whatsoever with any part of it. I cannot imagine my life without it! I use it almost as much as I do my iMac! The CLOUD! If you can afford one, GET ONE!I was very pleased with the dealer that I purchased it from as well. Fast shipping! Perfect packaging! YAY AMAZON!

The new screen is great. It is vibrant and has such high resolution. Also, the processor is much better. Apart from that, I am very disappointed with the Ipad 3. I have programmed ~700 of these things for my job at a local high school. The UX is sub-par. The touch-screen doesn't work well at all. There's my two cents.

I didn't buy the first and second generation iPads because I didn't like the resolution. I opted for the Kindle DX instead which is more suitable for reading. But the newest generation iPad has a better resolution and smoothness of text compared to the first and second generation iPads and it's much better than the Kindle DX reading device. The only issue is the screen glaring which is not comfortable if sitting nearby the light source.IMHO it's worth to upgrade from iPad two if you read a lot of text and watch HD videos on netflix. For other uses like occasional browsing, reading emails and gaming: The iPad 2 is a good option for a lower price.

This a Great product, the retina display is simple great, much more stable because of the memory and the graphics in games are much better. The battery size is perfect for it.

I love my ipad3 it is bad too the bone,does all I need and more.playing with the camera is very fun and the games are way better than on iPod writing this review on it as a matter of fact if u have one or are getting one play tribes for iPad it rocks and it's free!!!!!!!!

I-Pad arrived early and was in great condition. Love the typing feature the best. Very improved. Nothing to compare it to as it is in a class by itself.

Takes beatiful picture and videos,great for reading books magazine articles,viewing pictures,amazing picture clarity,couldnt get any better than this,quite easy to use,has some quirky issues,on the whole a great product yhough a bit expensive,compared to other great similar products.treasure island

Upgraded from iPad 2. The new iPad has a noticeably better display. Important to me because of my photo hobby. Disappointed in the very slow recharge cycle and I don't notice any appreciable improvement in battery life between this iPad and my iPad 2. I do have issues with the iPad getting pretty hot during use. Since apple claims this is normal I'm willing to live with it but am not thrilled about how hot it gets either. I'm not sorry I upgraded but at the same time I'm not sure it was a necessary upgrade. I'm aware that I suffer from upgradeitous!

I bought the new IPAD for my wife. She is technology challenged, but not with the new IPAD. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan and of course couldn't be there to show her how to set it up. No need. Upon receiving it, we were Skyping in no time. Thank you!

This came as good as or better than expected. Received it quickly and in the condition that it was advertised. Love it. I have a hard time putting a book down and am happy to be able to buy the sequel on the fly.

I could not believe that Apple was censored and shut down until i received my ipad as was forced to join the apple club to do anything. you could not use the system at all without being forced to give apple personal information. just like something out of an Orwell novel. i will do android stuff from now on where i am not pushed into things against my will.

This is my first IPAD, I went ahead and purchased IPAD3. No problems with unit overheating like some of the reviewers. Easy to use. Love it!
