Struggling with battery life. Trying to figure out why battery dies quickly. Otherwise like it a lot!!! Reading reviews & trying various ideas.

This is my first iPad. I use an android smartphone, so you can say Apple products are new and "fresh" to me ! I learned quite a lot on how to use my iPad, my 17 year old daughter helped me too. I absolutely love my iPad and am amazed by how much I can do with it. I will never be without one from here on. Great product. The Apple company is fantastic, great apps too !

Absolutely amazing! The Retina display is clear and crisp, the battery holds a charge for days even with prolonged use, and iOS is a solid operating system! I use mine for work and play and it has yet to let me down once. Very, very satisfied!

I'm very happy with the retina display and my new iPad. I am surprised at the reaction of so many that say thicker and heavier. I hadn't noticed until I read it LOL I looked it up and here are the specsThe new hew Third Generation iPad isDepth: 0.37 inch (9.4 mm)Weight: 1.44 pounds (652 g)The iPad2 isDepth: 0.34 inch (8.8 mm)Weight: 1.33 pounds (601 g) .11 of an ounce heavier in weight and .03 of an inch in thickness are microtads. I didn't even notice it!The performance is much better than that of my iPad 2, when you look at the new iPad then the iPad 2 next to it, the high quality of the new display it is very apparent. That on the iPad 2 looks more pixelated and washed out next to it. It has more memory than the iPad 2 did, and I'm very pleased with the updated camera, the dictation feature, more memory and mine does not get hot.If you are hot happy they let you return it for 30 days no questions asked. The Wi-fi connection is great, I did not want to be tempted by the LTE connection I do not need more bills with a carrier for data, my smartphone is enough for me there. I highly recommend the new iPad. The display alone and the 4 quad core graphics capabilities from the new larger battery, camera and dictation features are well worth the upgrade. If you only browse the web or read email etc you're probably better suited to the iPad 2 or first generation iPad. I also picked the 64 gb this time being it's only $100 to double the size of the 32gb so I would not regret it later. Why does Amazon and the sellers have the price 50 to 100 dollars and higher for the cost of the iPad than it actually is? You might want to try Apple online or an Apple store for the actual price.

To print from an Ipad you need a special printer as most printers are incompatible. You must have an air printer and that usually means buying another printer. I would make sure I could print before buying an Ipad and compare it to the printing capabilities of other pads. Also you cannot add memory to the Ipad.For me the Ipad ended up being a game tablet and a device to use for face time only.Many other pads will allow additional memory and printing.

Two Kindles later I finally got an iPad. There isn't any comparison ..... The iPad is lightning fast, and the Wireless network connection was incredibly easy to set up. The Kindle Fire can't even access the google play store.

I only wish you could expand the memory. I also hate iTunes. I would rather be able to access it as if it were a hard disk (like for most Android tablets.)

I bought this to use Over Ther Road and love it. So far I've been to the north east states and have gotten very good reception. I have 4g and Wifi and I use both. Its worth every dollar.

The ipad arrived before the expected date. The conditions were great, the product was exactly what I was expecting and it really met all my needs. The only thing is that I wish the ipad 4 was not that heavy, but ok, I'm happy with it anyway.

My iPad delivers everything it promised. I take it with me wherever I go and often use it to tutor literacy students. I still use my Kindle for reading books but the iPad screen is so much better for exploring the web.I so wish Apple would consider manufacture in good old USA which is why it took me this long to purchase one. I love it.

Purchased to replace a ASUS TF 101. The ASUS had become very aggravating, with freezing up, restarts, and inconsistent operation. The iPad operates pretty much flawlessly. We are very impressed with it. This is our first but probably not our last Apple product!

Was debating whether to get ipad with phone plan, but glad we got just the wifi ipad. Most places now have wifi, the service plans for iPads are soooo expensive (and of course most wifi is free), and u can download or rent movies that can be watched when no wifi is available (i.e car). Plus u can download a wifi finder so u don't have to HAVE wifi to find places where wifi can be accessed.

Ipad is great. It is very light weight and does most of the functions of a laptop. It also holds a charge for about 10 hours.

Had Generation 3. 4 is more of the same, but better. Completely satisfied and recommend the product. Believe the black is more business like appearing than the white.
