Product is not Windows 7 compatible. Amazon should know better than to list this item without specifically mentioning this. I don't care what Windows 7 comatibility website says, there is no Win7 driver available anywhere and the Vista one doesn't load- specifically says Vista driver not compatible.

This card is awesome! I bought 3 of these for a pfSense box. All 3 work flawlessly. I was skeptical as I am familiar with Linksys and Netgear. I've had issues with both due to the various chips used sometimes within the same model. These Trendnet cards have given me no issues. I highly recommend these cards, bsd, linux, windows... whatever. They work well.

I used this adapter for a Series 2 Tivo which had free basic Tivo service. I really needed this adapter once I bought my Trendnet 802.11n router and my Tivo was running the legacy wireless 802.11b ultimately keeping me from running 802.11n. I wished I had thought of this before since I have plenty of extra ethernet cables. I do keep my router close to my other wired devices which helps keep all my electronics in one place. I have not noticed any difference between being wired or wireless other than having one less device using a wireless signal which I have many of. It was easy to install and the Tivo recognized it right away. It took longer to move units around and feed the cables through the back of the unit than it took to setup. It has been running non stop for months and I have had no problems at all.

I apparently have had better luck with this product than some others on this site. After reading many reviews on numerous sites, I decided to take a chance. Result, complete success. After simple installation, plug it in and away it went. Instant communication with my modem. Highly pleased.

Used on spare laptop to connect to home Ethernet. Inserted into laptop and off it went. Also use this spare laptop on Wi-fi at another location...no conflicts...

This adapter is brilliant. I was forced to improvise when the network limitations at college would not allow Xbox LIVE to connect through the wall's ethernet port (while my laptop still could connect easily for some reason). Additionally, the wifi was too poor to use my laptop as a wireless router for the Xbox 360. Hence, having only a single hardwired ethernet port, I felt out of luck. This product salvaged that. It adds another fast ethernet port to my laptop, allowing me to run high speed internet through the built in ethernet port on my laptop, and then run another ethernet cable from the USB adapter to my Xbox. Within minutes of opening the TU2-ET100's box I had high speed internet flowing seamlessly to the 360 as well as my laptop. No problems whatsoever.Pro:- Very fast- Slick design- Solid construction- Indicator LEDs are useful- Perfect solution for Xbox LIVE's connectivity criteriaCons:- More expensive than the cheapo adapters (but this one works... well!)

Very, Very simple and easy to use - basically you load the software drivers - plug in the device and it just works... it auto-negotiated with the rest of my network and sensed 100mb and I didn't have to change anything after that... Excellent product...

I use this adapter with my Viliv X70 ultra mobile PC, which has no ethernet port. The adapter works fine. It also is very light weight so that taking it on trips adds nothing to my load. My only complaint is that it is a bit bulky for its function. The adapter measures 1.75"x1"x3", not including the cable. The ethernet socket contained in the adapter is less than 1"x0.75"x0.75", so I am sure the adapter could be smaller.

This thing works fine. Plug it in and install driver. I thought my Asus mobo built-in Ethernet port went out. All I had to do was reinstall Vista and it works, so now I have an extra Ethernet card. I decide to keep it. Performance wise it was similar to my mobo port. I have vista network meter gadget on and the only thing I see different is the download speed. I got 7mb DSL so the mobo fluctuate between 6.5 to 4 mbps during Netflix's streaming, and this device is more consist at 5.5 to 5 mbps. All other website I see no difference.So it is no better or worse then most gigabit port. It was cheaper then D-link, netgear and cisco brand with the same specs.

Used with older Tivo (Series 2) and it works great. Just plugged it in and that was all I needed to do. Was up and running within seconds. It has been working for more than 6 months without a hiccup.

Got hit by lightning and blew out the ethernet port in 2 desktops. Got this product, followed the simple instructions and they both work perfectly. One is on XP Pro and the other is on Vista Home Premium 64bit.Very satisfied with the product...

My father's computer is old enough to where it doesn't have any Ethernet ports. While upgrading to a new router, the new router would not have any USB ports on the back of it to connect to a computer. So i decided to invest in a short Ethernet cable and the TrendNet USB adapter. The device arrived before the upgrade router and i set up the USB device so it would be ready to go for my father. Setup was a breeze, after putting the CD in, and it was done in about 3 minutes. The router came later that evening and i set it up, and made sure it worked with the router and everything, well it did. The next day, my father didn't even notice that i had switched out the old router and connected this device to his computer. After i told him, he noticed a little bit of a speed hop. I guess it increased the speed a little bit, and all is good. I recommend this product if your computer does not have any Ethernet ports or if your Ethernet port has died.

The TRENDnet USB to 10/100Mbps Adapter works precisely as described. I plugged it in, the drivers were automatically found and loaded, and network performance was equivalent to a direct RJ45 connection. The adapter is compact, which is important for how I use it. I have a Dell Studio 1555 laptop that I dock at the office, but the Studio does not have a docking station option. So by putting ALL my peripherals on a USB 2 hub I can plug in three connectors (power, HDMI external video, and one USB cable) to have everthing connected. I also run my audio through a Syba SD-CM-UAUD USB Stereo Audio Adapter. I have never had any performance problems. It's simple, and I won't buy a docking station again.

I bought a TRENDnet USB TU2-ET100 for my Dell Studio Vista laptop.I had some trouble installing the drivers until I used compatability mode. I got a blue screen when I first used it, so I immediately went online and downloaded the latest driver updates. The adapter works perfectly now.

I had much difficulty installing this card to my Windows XP system. It took a lot of manual driver installing to get it to work. The worst part is that once correctly installed it had resource conflicts with my display adapter and my printer. I was unable to resolve either of these conflicts with this card installed. When I had this card installed my display would only work at its lowest resolution size and on only 4 colors. The printer was also completely non-functional with this card installed. Once I removed this card and its drivers, I was able to restore my PC back to it's previous functionality, but a frustrating experience for sure.Since I was unable to use this card in my Windows PC, I thought I'd try it in my SUSE Linux machine, but was unable to get it installed and working in that system. So final conclusion is that this card has been totally useless to me.

Connected to my Wii usb port, enabled wired connection under internet settings and Wii recognized it and installed it fine. Works great. It uses the same chipset as Nintendo's version, but its a lot cheaper.

The network adapter (wired and wireless) quit on my computer so I was stuck with no internet. I decided to order this product and it works great. Arrived in just 3 days. Just put the disk in, follow the instructions, and you're done.

I have the rev. 3.0R of this adapter. At first when I plug it into my macbook air it wouldnt detect the adapter. Only after I installed the drivers from their website which is suppose to be for mac 10.4 did it detect it and started working. So far I am having no problems on my Macbook Air running Mac 10.6.2 I just installed the drivers which are on the trendnet website which is labeled for Mac 10.4 osx. Hope this helps anybody looking to get this adaptor for their macbook air.

I was looking to purchase a USB>Ethernet adapter for my Series2 Tivo. Since the Tivos are known to be a little picky about the adapter used, I did a lot of research to find out what was out there. This adapter kept popping up, so even though it's not listed on Tivo's website (http://tivo.com/adapters), I decided it was worth a shot. It had gotten great reviews pretty much everywhere.The adapter (TU2-ET100) arrived yesterday. The USPS shipping was a bit slow, having actually PASSED my house in route to another hub before coming to me. But the packing was good, and it was in a nice box with a CD and fairly basic instruction book. I did not need either. The adapter itself is pretty light weight, but not fragile. It's a little boxy, but that actually is a good thing as I want it to sit flat.Within a second of plugging this in to my Tivo, it had obtained an IP address from my router and was churning away with full-duplex speed! The world of networked Tivo has opened lots of cool doors, thanks to this simple little adapter! According to the box, this adapter WILL work with the Nintendo Wii, as well.Note to those looking... BE CAREFUL not to mistake this with the TRENDnet USB to 10/100Mbps Adapter (TU-ET100C) adapter, which sells for a similar price (slightly cheaper) and looks more "modern", but only operates on the USB 1.1 specification.Also note... don't waste your time going to Best Buy. They don't sell these, and the guy who offered to help me find it told me matter-of-factly that "there is no such thing as a USB>Ethernet adapter." Sure thing, buddy.
