I purchased this router after I knocked one of the stand-up type off my desk and broke it. It is not bulky, therefore it does not take up much space - lies flat on the desk, so less chance of me knocking it off. Has a nice range and is easy to setup. Have been well pleased thus far.

11/8/10 Bought this router from Amazon on 11/1. Checked prices of Linksys, Belkin & others. This seemed to be a bargain. I set it up on afternoon of 11/4. Worked beautifully right out of the box. They request that you run the set up CD before plugging it in. The CD wasn't much help unless you have a hard wire connection between your computer and the router. If you're running XP or above, simply let your wireless wizard seek out the signal. That is assuming that you have already installed a PCI wireless card in your computer. If you have, the wizard will recognize the signal and off you go! This sends out a much stronger signal than my old Linksys G system. You have to get onto TP-Link's web page to set the name of your system and the password. Easy to do with their instructions. READ the Quick Set Up Guide before you start and while you're setting up your system and you won't have any trouble. Good router!

Do not get this router. Just go spend a little more and get a linksys or netgear router. I saw the good reviews and decided to give it a try, but I really regret that. Every few pages, I get the "problem loading page" message. Also, wifi is very slow. I really don't know what else I can do. It works sometimes, and sometimes it doesn't.

The place we are staying for a month in the warm didn't have wireless. As a two laptop couple, that just would not do. Bought this because it got some good reviews and was inexpensive.Took ten minutes to set up. It was great. Could have been faster if I had booted both devices at the same time. Plug everything in, boot the modem and the router, go through the simple set up CD, it is done. Tray CD only though, it is a little guy. Will not work with a slot load.And fast and has great range. Connected by the pool this afternoon.

I bought this because of the good reviews and the cheap price. I didn't need a super fast wireless modem but wanted something that could speed my 2 iphones, 2 laptops and a desktop. I was impressed how easy this was to set up and also how fast all my stuff got online after the setup. I have not experienced any problems with this product so I feel the positive rating was on target. I love this product and I am sure others will too.

My router crashed every 20 minutes(no response from 192.168.1.1, only power cycle helps)I flashed newer firmware, didn't help.returned it to the store

I bought two of these routers and had them up and running as repeaters within 15 minutes. Like another reviewer said, don't use the CD. If you know a little about networking it is fairly simple and straight forward. They have been in use for over two months without any problems. They have a fairly decent range and work great as repeaters. There are many access control features for bandwith, MAC addresses, etc. I would definitely buy this again and recommend it to others.

I didn't have a router since my laptop was near the cable connection; however, I had a lot of problems logging into my company's network and someone said a router might fix the problem. I really didn't know anything about routers and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I searched on-line and read all the customer reveiws before deciding on the TP-Link 300 Mbps Wireless N Router and I am thrilled with it! It fixed the problem I had logging in to my company's network and I am able to use my laptop anywhere in my house. The set up took less than 10 minutes (including security set up). I love it ... good value for the money! I have used it almost every day and it continues to function well.

Great inexpensive N router. Don't bother with the setup CD, just go straight to the IP. Good range, excellent interface. Some extra features not expected in this price range.Detachable antennas are great if you want to add external ones later. Yes, product looks different than picture, but no big deal. I have worked with a lot of Netgear and D-Link routers in the past and this is at a minimum equal. Throw in the low price and you're way ahead.

Router was easy to setup and install. Signal strength is great. I haven't had any problems from this router and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonable price on an N-router.

I'm the person in our house who sets up electronic equipment and consider myself to be a good trouble shooter. I needed help. After about 45 minutes on the phone with tech support it worked but I was then told that it is not compatible with DSL and will always have to be connected to the old router. What's the point of having an N router when it has to run through the old one? We used it for a week or so, simply because I'm too stubborn to let all my hard work go to waste, but it was really annoying to have all the cords and figure out where to place both routers. So, if you are looking for a wireless N router to REPLACE your current one and have DSL, keep looking. Now I have to pack it up to send it back. *sigh*

I am not very tech wise, but this was very easy to set up. I received it the next day and had it set up that night. I don't know how I lived with out it. I Love it.

Bought this gem. Tried to install it. Couldn't connect to the web thru my ADSL modem (AT&T). Called customer support. After asking the person I spoke to several times to "please stop shouting instructions to me" as it made comprehension difficult, got disgusted and hung up. Called back later hoping to get a different support person. Did so and was told (after doing everything and then some) that I needed to call AT&T and have them work on it. Went to WalMart, bought a NETGEAR router and installed it. It worked immediately. Now this one just sits on the floor looking pretty (sad).

I had this out of the box and completely set up within fifteen minutes, amazing! Super easy web interface lets you manage all of the security details in minutes, and the signal is great throughout the house. I would definitely buy this again and recommend it to others.

My other router was acting flaky and I was tired of playing with it so I bought a new one. Installed super fast, just as easy to configure as any other, had no problems with it. I live in a small 2 bedroom condo so signal strength is great throughout the house. Had it a couple of months so for... no issues at all.

Easy to set up and great strength and speed. This router was easy to set up and great to use no problems after several months. Having a switch included makes for easy use can plug right into the unit if you do not want wireless. Great

I had some difficulty getting the router set up; realized that I had to unplug the dsl modem, to reset it, after the router was set up. I have been up and running seamlessly for weeks with no issues.

I had a hard time setting up this router. I used the CD, then tried manual installation. Wasted hours getting nowhere. Finally I plugged the network cable directly into the back of the computer and went to the company website. Turns out the installation program was miss-detecting the ISP setup and there was an IP address conflict.Aside from the installation problems I like this router and would have given it 5 stars.

I bought this after reading so many great reviews of this wireless router. The price is fine, but after reading the great reviews I expected very fast service.... if anything, my service is below normal, and I don't know if I can attribute this to the Modem, Router, or ISP (RCN).While I had trouble setting up the Router, I was able to send in emails to the company, and the rep (in Taiwan) was very responsive, helpful, but it usually took one day to get a reply to my questions, so if one is in a hurry for customer service, I don't know how one would go about getting it.I can view videos on Hulu and Youtube without any problems.In summary, it works fine - but it is not as fast (or superior) as I had expected but I am not sure if the reason is due to my router, that is why I give it an "OK" rating.Sorry for my own confusion my own unit.
