This router was a breeze to setup and the price was good. It does B/G/N connections and was WPS. I get decent coverage around the apartment but for the size of that antenna, I should be getting a connection a block down the road, and I don't, so overall a good price, good shipping speed and good quality router.

This router is very high quality for the price. I got it about a year ago and was able to put DD-WRT onto it pretty easily. It has a strong signal and has stood the test of time. It has also stood the test of water, still functioning perfectly after being completely submerged in water (while it was on) after my room flooded. This thing is a tank. Excellent product, 5 out of 5 stars. I would highly recommend both this product and TP-LINK in general.

very inexpensive! has been very reliable and stable. very easy to put custom firmware. if you search, you can use the web interface to install the custom firmware. you will want to put a custom firmware since there news that TP-Link routers have a firmware bug that anyone can get root access to router. didnt read details but changing the firmware will close it up.

Do not buy this router, period! I have had nothing but trouble with it since trying to install it according to the instructions I received with the unit. Repeated calls to the tech support were unsuccessful, and most frustrating because of the language barrier. Even after asking for an operator that spoke US English, I got a call from an obiviously non-American. I use ATT DSL with a Motorola modem for my IP. I called ATT tech support, with a friend, and was finally able to get the router working but it lasted less than a week until the router would intermittantly read the modem signal. Now it has completely quit working and I cannot get the router to work at all. More conversations with the manufacturer tech support were of no use at all. DO NOT BUY TP-LINK PRODUCTS! The tech support insisted this product cannot be returned for credit. Amazon's policy is to deny return unless it is in the original unused condition. What a waste, and a disappointment!

I received this router yesterday and had it up and running in less than 5 minutes. I didn't even have to use the mini CD that came with it. The signal strength is excellent all over my apartment. There are a large amount of settings that can be accessed for it also.I would definitely recommend this router to anyone who is on a tight budget and wants to go wireless.

Not for MAC OS. TP-LINK technical hotline could not resolve connection issue. My ISP Armstrong could not resolve connection issue. I am sending it back and looking for something a little friendlier with tech support that understands their product. Plugged my old Cisco back in and everything is fine. All I wanted was more range and got a freaking headache instead.

Install went smoothly until I tried to unplug the hard connection and use the wireless connection. My laptop can't see the wireless signal. IPhone sees the network and connects but won't actually go online. Now even the wired connection to my laptop won't work. What a piece of junk -- I'm returning it, going back to connecting directly to the cable modem while I hunt for a new router.

I always had Cisco routers and for the first time I thought of buying something other than a Cisco product. This particular router has really low range (though it says that its a high range product) also available 4 LAN ports don't work at all which is a must for someone like me (VOIP Phones). Serious buyers should stay away from this product and go for something more reliable like a Cisco product. You get what you pay for :-(

Purchased this router from Amazon a few days ago for $33.00 & free shipping. Currently have Linksys WRT54G (I like the original Linksys design with external antennas; I tried several years ago to use the newer sleeker design with the internal antenna, and was very disappointed with the wireless range, so I returned & went back to original)to be replaced with this N draft router. I have been using Linksys products for well over 12 years and have been an advocate long before they were purchased by Cisco. I am also a 25 year computer & networking professional and work with Cisco enterprise & emerging technologies on a daily basis. I configured this router at work in <3 minutes using WPA2/AES/PSK - 63 random character pass key. I then tested coverage using my laptop with integrated wireless G radio to facilitate a walking "survey". I left the stand alone AP configured in my 2nd floor Datacenter and walked outward on entire second floor, then downstairs to first floor offices and out into my warehouse to find extraordinary coverage perimeters with regard to distance range and through multiple wall barriers. I was able to achieve coverage out about 350 feet/through multiple walls and floors. I am confident now that my home experience will be seamless, and only now need to upgrade my Linux laptops with wireless N draft USB network adaptors to leverage N draft. I will also be streaming internet content to my new Sony Smart TV, which was the real reason to upgrade to N draft in the first place, as wiring cat cable would be a pain in the backend. Additionally I looked at the Linksys routers and by comparison, this router had better reviews & price point. I will say Linksys limited lifetime warranty is a plus in that direction, as the TP-Link only provisions 2 year. But I'm giving this lower tier product a chance and will update this review when applicable. Stay tuned...

The router works great! It was very easy to install with the mini CD and follow the On Screen Easy Step Instructions. Pros: 1. Very easy to hook up, 2. install and 3. ready to use. Cons: None so far. The wi-fi range is excellent - upstairs, downstairs & outside my house all the way to the end of the block. Ordering & delivery of the router was easy and fast at Amazon! I had no problems and I highly recommend it!

I bought this to replace my router after its speeds were constantly diminishing and devices were just disconnecting. The options are great. It works wonderfully for the price. The only thing is that the range is not as good as it is with some other routers I have used, but good enough.

Did I spell "Shabby" wrong? I rarely use that word.Anyway..I was quite impressed with the TP LINK TL-WR914ND. My biggest gripe would have to be the set-up. Which is quite honestly my own stupidity. I spent (literally) 3 hours trying to configure the thing when all I had to do was plug it in!I bought it because I don't have a router or modem in my apartment. All direct connections to the internet are upstairs in my landlord's house. I recently bought (the somewhat temperamental) MagicJack Plus and wanted to use it as a land-line instead of plugging it into my US After the long hours of trying to configure the TP LINK all I had to do was plug in the MagicJack Plus unit and turn the router on. I waited a minute or two and it simply started working! The router required no configuration at all. Whats even better is if you need to unplug and move the router for any reason it takes seconds to get it running itself up again. I must admit I was quite surprised at its simplicity and my own stupidity!The TP LINK TL-WR914ND has been working flawlessly. I've had no problems or issues with the router at all. For the affordable price its well worth it!The unit also includes a quick set-up c.d. and a users manual. You'll end up going directly to the TP LINK website for an easier to follow manual. This is somewhat of an inconvenience and the c.d. (as simple as it is to follow) can be a bit frustrating to use; again this is IF you MUST use it.Despite those inconveniences I'd highly recommend the TP LINK TL-WR01FND. It's very affordable and does exactly what you need it to do!My word of advice to anyone purchasing the unit: turn the power on and plug the unit in to whatever your using it for first. Wait a minute or two, if that doesn't work than resort to configuring the it. Don't throw away three boobless hours like I did!

I purchased this router after reading a few user reviews, to replace my Vizio XWR100 (I got tired of getting dropped & having to reboot). I was skeptical because of the low price, but what a great device! It literally took me 10 minutes from opening the box to getting it connected to my first computer... And I'm no techo geek. It provides a super-fast download/upload speed and range is terrific. My old Vizio was almost useless in my corner upstairs bedroom (I thought I needed a range extender). But this TP-Link router provides strong signal throughout my house, so don't need anything else. I love it!

I got this to replace my parents dying router. The setup was simple (they don't need anything fancy) and I haven't had to touch it since I got it for them months ago. Zero problems at all, no need for any restarts yet at all. It doesn't have the features that a power user will require, but for basic usage that most people need this will work just fine. Range seems fine in their house, it is at one far corner and you can get a good signal all the way across the house with no problem.

I have had this for one month with no problems. It delivers consistent strength through out my lower floor. I have no second story so I can't speak on that. I use my Ipad on my back deck and it works their too. I have not had to restart it nor any problems with it yet. It was delivered quickly and very easy to set up. Popped in the disc, set it up and VOILA!

In the past couple years I've purchased a couple other brand routers, but the other brands I purchased died in less than a year. This TP-Link TL-WR941ND Wireless Router is still going strong. After reading the reviews on this unit I purchased one. I needed a router to because I have 3 active computers and one is on the second floor and to pick up WiFi to use my tablet. I live in a rural area without WiFi, but do have cable TV, so I can receive it now. This is the second router I bought to place on the second floor to increase the WiFi signal for my tablet up there. The WiFi signal on my tablet is reading very strong using this router. Of course I purchased the same brand/model for the second floor being I was so satisfied with the first one.

Super easy to use for those who don't know much about home routing. It also has a ton of great features for those of us who do like to manually set everything up and use some advanced routing. There are a ton of options to set your connection exactly how you want it.

Honestly this is the 1st router I have to set up fr myself. Only because I ordered the Kindle Fire HD, I need a WiFi router for my home. I connected it to the existing modem supplied by my cable carrier, followed the brief instructions, loaded the CD, & voila - it was a breeze setting up. It has been working perfectly ever since. It is winter & I have not ventured outdoor to test its range, but indoor the connection to my Kindle was flawless on different floor levels. On top of that, the prize at under $30.- is unbeatable.

I brought this because my roommate is 2 walls away from the modem. He needs a strong signal. I find this product has a good range and stable signal. I owned an alike model with 1 antenna 2 years ago, It performs stabler than 1 antenna. I recommend this, the price about $40 is reasonable.

I needed a router that could bridge to a WEP router two floors above on the opposite side of the house, but still use WPA for its security and this does it. It even has a cool search feature that shows a list of all the routers it can bridge with. Really easy.I find it to have pretty good range no matter where I am in the house. Also QoS was a must to make sure the VOIP traffic has the bandwidth it needs since it's been a problem without it.Finally, this router was super cheap for a wireless N. I would buy again.

I had a Netgear given to me by Dish that was a total nightmare. It was not strong enough with its signal to even let my printer get online! Like most routers, that netgear had a small, fixed 2dBi antenna, and their customer service would not honor their warranty because I didn't buy it myself. But this TPLink has a big 5dBi antenna that really gets my signal everywhere! It has great security, is super easy to install and was really, really affordable! And their customer service is great too! A 2 year warrantyThis is one of the best purchases I've made in a long time!

My previous Belkin router was dropping off and need to be reset almost daily. After switching to this TPlink, I've had a reliable connection ever since day 1! I think it's been months now... Speed test was also showing that my laptop is now getting a faster download rate too. For a wifi router that's like 1/3 or 1/4 of the price (I forgot how much I paid for my Belkin router), I can't really think of any complaints but to highly recommend it.

I selected this wireless router because of the relative high positive ratings (across multiple web sites)compared to other routers and the low price. Further it has 2 antennae each with 5 dbi strength. Other routers are typically 2 or 3 dbi per antenna. I am delighted that with this router, the wireless signal strength (as indicated on my ipad) is at the highest setting in all the rooms of my approx. 1,000 square foot apartment. Note that the only difference between the WR-841N and 841ND model is that the latter has detachable antennae and this one (841N) does not. Why would one want detachable antennae? To replace them with even higher strength antennae, if needed. I think that it is a silly concept because if one needed more signal strength one would just buy an even superior signal strength router. Hence, I did not opt for the 841ND over the 841N.I used the CD to install the router. It was easy enough except for one question when it asked whether my ISP provider provides a Dynamic IP (i.e., DHCP) or Static IP address for my connection. A brief call to my ISP provider, namely Time Warner, indicated that for my connection it is "Dynamic IP".The router is small and its width is merely the same width of my computer so it conveniently sits on top of it.I doubt one could find a new router, as good as this, at a lower price. At about $29 it offers great value for the performance.

I have purchased & set up about 20 routers, this one was the easist to set-up... I configured the router, a tablet, my main computer, a laptop and three smart TVs in less than 15 minutes..Love the QSS connector....I have purchased all of the main brands of router...they do not last but a couple or so years average...hope this one will last longer...It has a high Amazon rating and was almost the lowest priced..So far VERY SATISFIED.......
