Been using this for pictures and video in my Canon 2Ti. Working great for 6 months now, speed seems really good.Don't get buffer warnings like with my old SD card.

this is a really fast card! i also own an trascend class 6 and the sandisk outperforms the trascend at all levels!I bought it specially for video since my pentax k7 couldnt record more than 1 min of HD video on the trascend memory card, because of the memory's writing speed made the camera to stop recording. With this card i was able to record 10 straight minutes with no issue at all. The processing is very fast too. Now the sandisk is my default memory and the trascend has gone as backup!I highly recommend it!

This is about as fast as a card gets at this time. And SanDisk is arguably the most reliable media available. I've never had one fail.

Well worth the money for anyone who takes a lot of photos. Cut the transfer time from camera to computer by 80% compared to the card I was using, not to mention the greater storage, needed for RAW shooting.

Purchased this with my Nikon D90 and have been very happy with it. I have my camera set to Raw+Jpeg Fine, which is the largest file size possible. I filled it up on an 8-day vacation, and it held 500 photos on this setting. I felt like the size was perfect, since it forced me to review my photos daily, deleting bad ones, thus preventing me from coming home with 1000 photos or more (500 is still a lot). I will likely purchase a second one as a back up, and in case I shoot a large event such as a lengthy wedding where I would need more than 500 images. It had a very fast response to multiple frames per second. I never had to wait for the camera or image writing. Having used lower end cards in the past, that did slow me down, I will always go for these high quality cards in the future.

I got this for my T2i. It's lightning fast for all applications, especially when taking HD video. Don't even think about class 6, just get this.

Sandisk is the only brand I trust after having some problems with some other big names in the past. No problems with any of my Sandisk cards so far and the performance is great!

I refuse to take chances with "bargain" brand media or with ordering from an environment where counterfeit media abounds. So I go for SanDisk and order mainly from amazon and amazon associated sellers.So far these SanDisk Extreme Class (10) 8GB SDHC cards perform in my Canon T2i without a hitch. A few tips:1. format in the camera!!!!2. Don't fill the card up, stop at about 80% capacity and put a fresh one in.3. Don't let "stuff" accumulate on the card. Transfer to your computer after each session/shoot, then format in the camera.4. Store extra SDHC media in a good protective case. The little Pelican case that holds 8 SD/SDHC cards is perfect and waterproof too.

These cards can't be beat for video production. I use them in my Canon T2i and offloading HD footage is incredibly fast. SDHC Cards are not the most robust physical cards, but these Sandisk cards don't seem to be cheaply made and appear to hold up well to a lot of handling. I will definitely be purchasing more during my next project.

This card lives up to its speed rating, and I have had no problems with it. I was seriously considering getting the Transcend for much less cost... but after reading some of the reviews and how the card does not perform to where it says it does, I just bit the bullet and paid a bit more for something I knew was quality... and im glad I did!

I purchased the SanDisc card prior to our trip to Hawaii. I was looking for increased storage capacity and a faster read and write time. This card performed beyond my expectations and gave me the storage and the speed I wanted and needed to shot some great photos.I highly recommend this card not only for it's capacity but for it's speed.

If you are purchasing a SD card for the main purpose of shooting hd video, spending the extra money on the San Disk class 10 extreme 3 is the way to go.

The price was excellent. This card sells for approximately $80.00 from Best Buy where I live. My cost through Amazon, was approximately $50.00. Way to go Amazon!

I use these cards in my new Canon T2i. They are very fast. I'd like to try the SDXC cards, but the price is ridiculous. The 8gb can record 209 pictures in RAW + JPG mode. With 4 of them, I can record over 1000+ pictures at a setting, as fast as I can squeeze the button. (Better get an extra battery as Canon says that the battery will only last 500 pictures

Benchmarking with PassMark Advanced Disk Test Win32 api - UncachedMB-Written-|-MB-Read-|-MB/Sec--|-Time(Sec)---|--Avg.-WAR--|-Avg.Raw---|----66.5-----|---68.3----|----2.21---|-------61------|---1.25 ms---|---7.17ms--|To be honest not completely sure why the MB/Sec score looks so low but when copying a file to the card from WindowsI get 7.9MB/S average and 8.2MB/s Peak (WRITE)I get 6.8MB/s average and 7.13MB/s Peak (READ)That was unexpected... I thought read would do a lot better, but in any case it falls into it's class 6 category.In conclusion I'd say it's a pretty good choice for a cheap[...] Class 6 SD Card. At the time of writing best bang for buck 05/12/2010.

As with all SanDisk products I have used, this card performs very well. I purchased this to use in a new Canon Rebel. The order was shipped quickly and delivered in good condition. It was a great purchase.

The awesomeness of this card is it's high-speed performance. If you don't have a card reader that can keep up, or a camera that can utilize it, then it would be a waste. My ZS5 Panasonic can take around 70 consecutive photos to this card before the buffer runs out. So, for me it's really nice.

I tried this new card with great expectations for shooting in RAW format........ It's not one bit faster than my Transcend Class 6 cards, which are much less expensive. My advice is "don't waste your money".... You will not get the much shorter buffer times you hoped to get in either RAW or Jpeg. I can't say about video because I don't do much of that.

What kind of review can you write for a memory card? It's as big as advertised, and I'm not technical enough to know how to test it's speed. It works fine in my Pentax 200D, though it doesn't strike me as super fast when writing from the camera - I think it was about 3 pics/second, if I remember correctly.
