Love this; use it with a Nikon, I've never had any problems, been using it about a year. Shipping was on time and accurate. I would recommend this anytime.

Before I got this thing, I'd be shooting video with a D90 and it would stop recording at about the one minute mark. I was confused for a bit and then realized it was failing because it couldn't write to the card fast enough. With this in there, it records up to the D90's 5 minute limit without any issue.I also tested it with stills and fired off 100 shots in under 25 seconds. Never a lag. With the old card (class 2), it would start lagging after about 6 shots.

I have many many SanDisk cards from microSD (in our smart phones), SDHC in our point and shoots and surveillance cameras, and compact flash cards for my 5D. My CF cards came with recovery software that works very well for restoring damaged cards, saved a whole photo shoot one night and pulled back imaged from shoots before the card was formatted!

Put it in the Sony camera for which it was purchased and it works. I am not interested in running benchmarks; if it works, I use it and move on. This works.

Works great in my Pentax K-X. Shot a 3 hour triathlon taking over 3,000 pictures that day and no buffering at all. Good stuff.

They need to change the picture of the card offered since it is not what you receive. I got the video card when I specifically purchased this because it was a non video card.Edited 09.28.12 - Upon my request, Amazon refunded me the difference in price between the card I ordered and the actual card received (about $6.85).

This video review is misleading and a fraud. But that's only a bad thing for SanDisk as Transcend Class 6 & 10 cards are a solid 99% as fast as the most expensive SanDisk card you can buy for a Nikon D90 or D7000.I too have a Sandisk Extreme and Extreme III card, a Transcend Class 10, a Transcend Class 6 card and a Nikon D90. I repeated this frame rate test at several resolutions. At EVERY resolution, there is ALMOST IMMEASURABLE frame rate difference between these cards. The truth is that even Transcend Class 6 cards offer essentially the same frame rate at the same resolution as the most expensive SanDisk card you can buy. The ONLY way you can get a D90 to shoot at maximum advance rate for 100 shots (without any buffer lag) is to drop to a low resolution and AS LONG AS YOU ARE RUNNING TRANSCEND CLASS 6 OR HIGHER, YOU WILL GET THE FASTEST FRAME RATE A NIKON D90 OR D7000 CAN MUSTER.I also own a Nikon D7000 that shoots at a substantially faster maximum advance AND writes MUCH larger files. At highest resolution of RAW + Fine Large jpeg, the difference between a Transcend Class 10 card, the SanDisk Extreme III and a Transcend Class 6 card is insignificant. We're talking about approximately 0.2 frames difference in a 4-second burst at Continuous High advance. All cards burn down the buffer in less than 2 seconds and then you are in jerky buffer-restricted advance at the same rate regardless of card.Food for thought: SanDisk marketed their Extreme 30MB/second cards as BOTH Class 6 and Class 10 at different times. They are the same cards. I have owned them both. The TRUE difference between Class 6 and Class 10 is, wait for it... MARKETING. Wonder why Transcend Class 6 cards cost about the same as their Class 10 cards? Probably because they perform the same and likely ARE the same...Transcend Class 10 and Transcend Class 6 cards get 5 stars because they are about 99% as fast as the SanDisk "30MB/s" cards at a fraction of the price. Do NOT waste your money on SanDisk cards. They do not improve frame rate over Transcend Class 6 or 10 cards nor do they transfer to computer any faster. I'd only give SanDisk 30MB/s cards 2 stars because they perform well but are EXTREMELY overpriced.

I specifically chose this seller because a non video card is pictured. I noticed that video cards are about half the price but I paid the extra because I wanted to speed up my still photos, not real interested in videos. Too much trouble to exchange, I might as well keep it but I'm rating it low as I feel cheated.

EXTREMELY fast read/write speed. I am shooting with a Canon T1I and the busy light (after 20 or so continuous shots) goes off after 2-3 seconds, whereas my other cards take 30 seconds + after only 11 shots. For $120 or whatever, I am not sure about it's value but if it is on sale, 100% go for it. (I got mine for about $18). I wish they mentioned that it IS waterproof, temperature proof, shock proof, and for some reason x-ray proof. Those are great surprise features, just in case.

I decided to get this SanDisk card for my Sony pocket camera over a Sony brand since Sony SDHC cards have been getting poor reviews. This card performs and needed to get a fast Class 10 card to allow the camera to perform better especially when I shoot 10 shots within a few seconds. The card that Sony provided with the camera was a Class 4, did not even know they existed. This was an excellent purchase.

It works fine for the things I need. I do not believe that it is anywhere near as fast as advertised, but it works. Some are very slow, so do some research. This does seem faster than others I have owned, but in the several tests I did with a 'SanDisk ImageMate All-in-1 Flash Memory Card Reader' and I did NOT get the speeds they promised at all. SanDisk had no explanation.

I have shot a lot of pictures with this card and some HD video. I have had no problems at all with buffering, picture loss or picture quality. I purchased this card because I have only good experience with SanDisk cards and this card costs much less and a lot more memory than I got before and add the class 10, it's a great buy.

Sandisk Extreme cards are great - they're relatively inexpensive for fast cards and I've noticed an improvement in save speeds with all three cameras. I highly recommend these cards!

I will be writing this review for both SanDisk Extreme SDHC class 10 8gb and Transcend SDHC class 10 16gb.I bought SanDisk class 10 and Transcend class 10 for my new Panasonic LX5. I got both card because no one really did a comparison with a compact camera and I was just going crazy trying to see if there is any big difference between the 2 cards.SanDisk Extreme package box indicated it's water proof, x-ray proof, shock proof, temperature proof. I am not ready to spend $50 to see if it really stand up to it's words. And I don't think normal people would go through the extreme condition in taking pictures or videos.Cut the story short, I really want to see if there is any difference in writing performance between the 2 cards in a compact camera. There is a continuous burst mode in LX5 and the manual indicated it is only limited by the condition of picture environment and performance of the SD card. Within the mode there are 2 different settings:1) speed priority or 2) picture/quality priority. The shutter speed is much faster with speed priority compare to picture priority.I first formatted both cards out of box then put each card in series of test(3 rounds each setting for each card) shooting at the same object under same lighting condition. The results:Speed Priority:SanDisk Class 10 8gb22-33 shots before camera stopped to allow the card to catch up with writing.Transcend Class 10 16gb22-24 shots before camera stopped to allow the card to catch up with writing.Picture prioritySanDisk Class 10 8gb34-46 shots before camera stoopedTranscend Class 10 16gb27-33 shots before camera stoppedIt seems that at a higher shutter speed, both cards performed very similar under the same shooting condition. But at a slower shutter speed the SanDisk definitely out perform Transcend. I hope this little experiment satisfied anyone with curiosity like me. Transcend definitely is a bargain with 16gb and almost half of the price compare to SanDisk. But I am going to use SanDisk Extreme as my primary card and Transcend as backup or on a second camera to ensure i would not miss any shots.

Took care of the busy (working - waiting) signal between shots on our Canon PowerShot A590IS camera for the most part. Seems it took forever to get ready for the next shot and this faster card has eliminated that problem mostly. Had an older card that was supposed to be fast, but it was not nearly as fast as this one. 8Gb holds a ton of photos even at the highest resolution and video length is not longer a problem when shooting video with the camera.

The Memory Card was purchased for use in my digital camera and I can not take lots of pictures and keep all on one card. In the past I had onlycards of a smaller capacity and had to change cards on the run.

I use this SD card in my SLR camera and love the speed. The only issue I have is that when its really full, it is hard for my computer to recognize it. It takes a couple of tries before I finally get it to mount to my desktop. Other than that this card is flawless.

Works great on my Nikon D90! High speed and no lag! Wish i bought 2 of them! Can't complain. More expensive every where that i looked at.
