These are great cards.. never had a problem with any of them and they have always been solid. I have purchased quite a few different versions of these over the years and never had a issue and I would recommend these to anyone.

This card is very fast and works well with the D7000. The D7000 is designed to be very fast and using a slower memory card slows down the camera. Love it.

I know this is not what you wanted here, but the other two items I purchased will be fine I am sure. I haven't used them yet, I purchased them for a special vacation coming up soon. However, the 8GB card was purchased in error. I opened the package and realized my mistake. Can I return it? If you look at both of my purchases you will see the error. Thanks for your help. I was relying on a class 4 SD card by SanDisk when I received my Canon Rebel T2i. I could not record HD videos without it pausing, trying to record the file fast enough.I went ahead and purchased this after reading some great reviews. It came in a simple box. As soon as I popped it in my camera, I could detect the difference immediately. 1080p video at 30fps recorded without a hitch though the card began to run warm after a six minutes and a warning came up on the camera. You can snap pictures all day without any worrying that something will happen. It transfers photos to the computer (a Mac in this case) extremely quickly.Absolutely worth the price for speed, convenience, and reliability.

Ok let me start by saying i would not normally spend this much money on a memory card.I bought this for my wife for her Nikon D5000 camera hoping to get rid of the buffering time our old sd card was giving us after just 5 pictures taken. Gave it to her a couple days early as it was a Christmas gift so she can use it for our families first Christmas. Asked her when she was planning on switching the memory stick to the new one and she said when she has time... Well the memory stick got lost. No where to be found. Go figure the one time i spend a good amount of money on a memory card i don't even get to take it out of the package. Cant complain to amazon not their fault cant complain to anyone other then myself.

After using this card for almost a year, I can say that it works very well. It is not as fast as one would think based on the item description (Extreme, High Performance, etc.) but it only gets to be a problem if you are doing high speed shooting. Almost all I do with it is single picture shooting and for that is excellent. About quality of product, I can only say good things. These cards last for a very long time, and are very good and reliable. I have never lost any data when using SanDisk products.

If you have a mid/high-end DSLR, or shoot lots of video....then this is the card for you.....it performs unbelievably better than my class 4 and 6 cards...seriously, if you think you get good quality with those classes and don't think it's worth spending a few more bucks on the big daddy class 10, you are a fool, yo! And go with Sandisk, no one else....

Length:: 1:12 MinsUPDATE: May 13, 2010I was contacted by an Amazon shopper named Rolla Gravett. He purchased a Transcend class 6 card that could maintain the 4.5fps to 100 shots. It could be a fluke but in the interest of relaying the facts, I'm letting you know that he offered video as evidence of this feat. Neither my Transcend class 6 card or class 10 card will do this.Please let me know if anyone else has had this observation.Repost 10-28-09To respond to a request, I've changed the video today and included the test shooting in Raw mode. As you can see I'm not getting the 4.5FPS that I got in fine mode. This was about the same time that I shot 100 images in fine mode. Thank you for your suggestion. I got 56 images in just under 24 seconds. On my Transcendclass 6 card I got 25 shots in the same mode/time. My Transcend Class 10 card captured 37 images. In my opinion this is a much better demonstration of the card's write speed.I have an Nikon D90. I purchased the 8G San Disc Extreme III card 30MB/S and a Transcend 16G class 6 card at the same time. The San Disc Extreme 3 card is incredibly fast. I get 100 pictures (4.5 frames per second) at fine resolution before the camera slows to buffer in 24 seconds. The Transcend card gets 17 photos on the same settings then pauses to buffer and only delivers 25 shots in 24 seconds. The Transcend Class 10 card delivers 66 shots in 24 seconds.If you have the camera that can take full advantage of this write speed, this fast card is worth the investment. No more cringing while I wait for my camera to clear its buffer so I can take more pictures.I like to shoot at 4.5 frames. It gives me a lot to pick through when I edit, but a lot can happen in a fraction of a second that can make a photo good or bad. Having the capability to hold down the shutter release and rattle off large bursts of photos is important to me.I know this test is boring but it is a real world use test. I don't work for San Disc and would consider any other card with this write speed. A word of caution, all class 10 cards are not rated at 30MB/s, they only need to read and write at 10MB/s to be called class 10.I have found that 8G is a good size for SLR Photography. In my opinion bigger cards are putting a lot of eggs in one basket.If you have any questions or criticism please comment. This card was bought for use with a Nikon D5000 Digital SLR. It is quick and reliable. If you want high performance and are willing to spend a little bit more money to get it, then this is an excellent choice that holds large numbers of shots.I can set my camera to continuous release mode, hold down the shutter button and let it take as many shots as I want. I've done a couple of dozen shots as tests, with no hitches at 4FPS. It's not a feature I require now, or anticipate using, but it is cool to snap away at high speed just to see your camera actually do it.Download to my PC is quick and reliable as well. I would recommend the product for performance seekers. For those who are more the casual photographer, the product is probably overkill at the price. Cheaper cards with great performance are a viable option, and I have been satisfied with other SD cards I own, as backup cards for my camera. For myself, after the investment in a good camera and other accessories, I didn't want to skimp on the SD card.It is a little pricey at around $47, but you are definitely getting what you pay for with this card. It's worth every penny.

I purchased the "Extreme" 8G card hoping to increase the speed of my Canon SX210. I was trying to give it a test myself, even having been alerted by my previous reading of other reviewers' advice.Surely enough, The speed of the camera hardware governs the card processing rate. The card does not help at all on neither the next picture taking rate nor the continuous bursting rate.Buying the extreme card does not enhance any speed of picture taking and processing, if your camera is designed for slower rates.

Do yourself a favor and purchase the fastest SDHC Chip available. You'll find that using a faster chip has many benefits. Faster refresh times for that next picture, faster download and upload times to from your computer, and BEST OF ALL, the battery life of your camera will last much longer when using this chip in comparison to standard. My Canon SD750 battery life lasts all day, (over 250 shots), with this chip as compared to previous generations of chips that required at least one battery change in mid afternoon. Don't be fooled by the "CLASS 10" rating of other chips. Look for the 30MB/sec access speed and you'll be quite pleased.

I am very happy with this card and its' performance. With compatible card readers (like the SD slots on Apple computers) the card transfers jpeg & RAW files very fast. Shipping just before christmas was great too, received it next day & used it Christmas day. After bad experiences with other brands I will be going for SanDisk Extreme cards from now on.

I had an 8GB transcend class 10 SDHC card before this one and it used to take my about 30 minutes to download the images from the flash drive to my laptop with the laptop's inbuilt card reader. Once my laptop even went into sleep mode while copying the pictures from the transcend card and when I woke up my machine, It was still taking so long for it to copy, I thought the machine hung or something and ended up pulling out the card from the machine which caused me to loose valuable data. I immediately bought this card on Amazon and I'm pretty happy with the write and read speeds of this card and surely feel I got what I paid for.

An extremely fast SD card, I can shoot 100 pics up to the claimed 4.5fps JPEG large and fine quality in a D90 if low ISO is used. If high ISO is used you can get less than 20 shots before the speed slow down, but that's another story, this is due, I think, camera process.It is very expensive compared to other options out there, but I think the premium price worth it when you are using it for critical situations.

Works as it should. Fair price for good quality product. I have no way of testing actual read/write speeds, but HD video plays smooth without skipping frames.

This card provides more than enough speed for the average user. In fact, this card is probably overkill unless you are a serious enthusiast or professional. I do notice a difference when shooting in low light. The card processes the photo quicker than a 4 or 6.

I originally bought this card because my Ultra II 4 meg would pause annoyingly during video when using my Canon T2i. The 30 mb/s fixed that right up. I don't notice any pausing when shooting raw plus jpeg on burst either. Very happy with this purchase.
