I own a Canon T1i. I bought this card for 2 reasons I wanted to to decrease my instances of rolling choppy video on my class 4 cards ( I have only one class ) 6 at the moment and I was hoping to get increase my still frame rate before I buffered out. My video quality increased compared to a class 6 card but I still only get 8 frames raw in 3 seconds before my buffer maxes out. The time saved downloading from a card reader is negligible compared to a class 6. If you are solely looking at class 10 cards to increase your still work flow I would not recommend them for entry level dslrs regardless of brand. Save some cash and get the class 6.

i use this on Nikon D5000 and its fine but when you transfer files to computer it shines its significantly faster then class 4 SD card but if you think its faster on camera i cant tell difference between class 4 and class 10 so for digital camera i would say go buy class 4 or 6 they are just as good and lot cheaper

Finally, I was able to transfer 260 pictures in less than 20 minutes. The 30MB/s is great! I'll buy another soon.

This card is the perfect fit for my Canon Rebel T2i. It holds 900+ high-quality jpegs, and it's perfect for a camera that needs extremely fast storage. Its Class 10 rating means that it never stutters when taking video, and it never slows down the camera when taking rapid-fire shots. I've had nothing but exemplary reliability from SanDisk SD and SDHC cards, and I'll continue to use them. I've seen the price in retail stores and from some online retailers to be twice what it is here or more, so buying from Amazon is an excellent bargain.

I was somewhat leary that this SD chip would allow more shots to be shot quickly befor filling the camera buffer. But it does allow more shots in sucession in both RAW and JPEG modes on my Canon XSi DSLR.

Bought the card to support my continuous shooting with fast shutter speed and also video capturing. So far so good, and if to compare with my previous Sandisk Class 2 8GB, I've no regret paying for this.

I have been using this class 10 memory card in a GoPro HD Hero Helmet Camera for skiing in cold conditions. My old class 3 one GB card did not withstand the cold conditions and would freeze up in the middle of use on the mountain. This 8 GB Extreme model does not seem to freeze up even in stormy conditions to 20 degrees F with additional windchill. Also, the transfer rate onto my MacBook is ten times faster than previous. It holds about an hour of Full HD Video.

I bought this card to replace my old 2GB SanDisk Ultra II card. I use it in my 14MP camera with HD video. With this card, my continuous shooting is not limited by the card, but my camera's frame buffers.This card has very fast (some would call it extremely fast) read/write speeds. I've put over 1000 shots and ~30min of HD video on the card since I've had it. No problems whatsoever.I highly recommend this card.

These are sure fast cards and probably the fastest out there and they should for the price! Everything is great EXCEPT one issue that seems to be a recurring problem I have with fast Sandisk cards and ONLY Sandisk cards. They 3 times out of 5 lock my computer up where Windows Explorer locks up and I have to shut down and reboot the computer. This has happened before to me on an XP machine with fast Sandisk cards and now I have this one and use it with a brand new fast laptop running Windows 7 and the same issue occurs. I have class 6 transcend cards, class 10 Patriot cards and various Sandisk Ultra and this Xtreme III card. Only the fast Sandisks do this. Looking at the killer price of the Patriot class 10 8Gb SDHC card with about the same speed, I am selling this one and am getting two more Patriot 8GB class 10 SDHC cards. Its as fast and less than half the price.

in the Atto benchmark this card gets about 21MB/s read with 20MB/s write, without any pictures or video on it via internal USB 2.0 card reader(Rosewill FP35B) the price is a bit much but its one of the fastest cards around.Komputerbay shipped it quickly and arrived even quicker, sufficient packaging etc.

I use Raw+JPEG setting for my shots and I was using Sandisk Ultra II 8GB card. It was causing issues on occassions - the camera would show "BUSY" whenever I needed to take more than one shots in quick succession.Enter Extrme III Class 10 and all those issues are gone.I highly recommend this if you're in similar situation.(Also, watch out - there're other and cheaper Extreme III but NOT Class 10 - I'm not sure what kind of performance can we expect from them)

I bought this to shoot a recital and I was really impressed. It is fast to download to the computer just like promised. No more waiting FOREVER for my stuff to download. I would definitely buy this again.

Sandisk Extreme Class 10 has one of fastest write speeds. [...]Write speed is very important to get the most out my new camera a Sony DSC-HX5 that needs to write 1080 HD video at 60 frames per second to memory.The 8 GB is good for 1000+ digital pictures or an hour of HD video. Picking a slower memory card just frustrates picture taking because you have to wait for the camera to write to the card.

Excellent memory card. Nikon D90 with this card is able to take great photos without any noticeable shutter delay. And it probides space for about 2000 high-resolution photos in JPEG format.

I placed an order for this item on April 18th with sfPlanet. Delivery is now scheduled for April 28th. That's 10 days shipping time. I received a shipping notice on the 20th. However, USPS only received the item on the 22nd. And it is coming "standard" shipping which appears to be stagecoach. I won't be using sfPlanet again. From what I can tell, they are a rinky-dink operation in Minnesota - probably some guy running a store out of his apartment.

This is a great product, and exactly what it is advertised as... With class 10 speeds, this is definitely a professional SD card. I use it in a Nikon D90, and the speed is exceptional. I couldn't ask for more from an SD card.

I bought this card because of its 30 meg write time. I use it in a Nikon D5000. I'm not sure my camera can write that fast. My computer can though. The camera can shoot at 4 frames per secound. In my mind, I didn't want to take the chance that the sd card could be the thing that slowed my camera down. This card will hold 1000 or more photos. The extra speed in my computer makes dealing with viewing/copying/deleting photos a little faster. If you're not so concerned about having the fastest speed, there is an older version of this card with a (I think) 15 meg write speed for less than half the price. I assume this statement is "while supplies last". I gave this 4 stars just because I wish that the latest & greatest wasn't more than twice the price. I bought SanDisk because I've had good luck with them in multiple devices in the past.

I've been using this card for a couple of months, and so far it has been a champ. It holds lots of photos and several short video clips, and its speed is such that whatever else I connect it to is what limits the speed. That is all I need.

Just received this card today, and so far so good. It works great with my Nikon D-90. I went out earlier today and shot a few pictures and the card worked wonderfully. Really no complaints. It transferred the pictures fast allowing me to take many pictures in succession without having to slow down.

Card works great for video with my Canon DSLR. Lower class cards could not keep up to shoot video. Would like to get a SDXC card at some point, but right now they are way too expensive.

So far the SanDisk seems to work great. I purchased to 8GB Extreme SDHC Class 10 for my new Canon camera. I am looking forward to having plenty of memory when I take my camera on vacation.

I own a D90 and after being unsatisfied with my former normal SanDisk SD card, I got this one hoping for faster writing speed and faster browsing speed. Both are lightning fast now. With 8GB, I can shoot over 500 RAW photos, which is what I always shoot.
