Owned and used this to take pictures to sell on eBay. Works well Stores well. Holds hundreds of 6mb pictures, video worked well also. Have had over a year.

I purchased a SanDisk Extreme III 8gb card. I installed it in my Sony DSC-TX7 camera and went on vacation. When I returned, I removed the card to install on my laptop. When I opened the battery/SD door and ejected the card, the card came out along with black pieces of plastic. When I closely inspected the pieces of plastic they came from the front edge of the memory card. The card was actually coming apart.I contacted SanDisk and told them of the problem. This is where the real problem started. SanDisk asked me to send them pictures of the defective card. The card is so small that I could not get good pictures without Macro capability. I do not have that on my Sony camera. I took the best pictures I could and sent them in. I got an email back that my case had been escalated to a higher level and the response was that SanDisk is not responsible for mis-use of memory cards. I had only inserted and removed the card once from my camera. I hardly consider that mis-use.I find that SanDisk is not customer oriented! They would rather contest a minor product complaint than satisfy a customer complaint. Their warranty is worthless. I will never purchase another SanDisk product again. It is not so much the problem with their product as their attitude towards their customers. If you buy a product from this company, don't expect them to honor their warranty or try to satisfy you as a consumer.

I purchased these for my new Fuji X100 and they increase the write speed to almost instantaneous. When formatted to the Fuji they are perfect.

I have been using this SD card with my Sony DSC-HX9V and was disappointed to see that it is NOT fast enough to record 1920x1080 60p video at a rate of 28MB/s. It works fine on all other recording settings, including 1920x1080 60i at a rate of 24MB/s, but when they brand it 30MB/s I expected it to be able to handle 28MB/s, especially considering the price tag is twice that of others.I would recommend buying a cheaper brand, as I am not sure this card performs any better at all compared to most other brands being sold for half the price. Considering the price I cannot rate this card more than 1 star.

Can't complain at all, it's 8 gigs like it said, really fast, pics and video look great, haven't tranferred to pc yet, but I'm sure it will be fine. Good buy!

I think that this product was fantastic. It came exactly as Amazon described it. The memory card functions perfectly and definitely is fast enough for the Nikon D3100 SLR camera

Did not receive what I ordered. Box had sticker on it covering the true product number. This is the uhs-1 card not the SDSdx3-008G-p31 as ordered. Have read this card may not work for Nikon and is really a class 6 pushed to class 10. Looking for clarification from experts.

Memory Stick is fast enough to transfer files between camera and laptop.Purchased this with my Sony DSC-WX9.But seems like camera takes time to write to disk.I needed to wait for atleast 20-30 Secs before I took the next shot.Worked well with my HD recording on WX9 and also on Sweep Panorama.But still trying to test and figure out where is the delay in writing to card after shots. Camera or Card.Will Update once I find out.

I ordered this item but received the HD Video version of the card. Performance tests were quite terrible (5 MB/s). Very unhappy.

I bought two of these SD cards, both the 8GB. I like them, they process the information fast and I have never had a problem with them yet (I've owned them for about 9 months and have put countless amounts of footage and photos on them). They are definitely worth the money. I've used the slower class cards and have lost so much quality and information, these are definitely all I will buy from now on!

Must have for taking fast photos (0.5 frames per second on a GoPro2 Camera). Works well with DSLR video as well.

This SDHC works great in my camera..I has made a huge difference in the speed in which I can take photos..I can now take 8-10fps on my cannon Elph, where it used to be only 3-6 with just a regular SHDC..The extreme triples the speed.. Spend a little more, you won't be sorry!

I was looking for a good memory card for my new camera, a Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS. Surfed reviews and decided on this one. It has worked great so far, perfect for my needs. Didn't want bottom of the line and didn't need top of the line with this camera, this fit the bill.

If your camera is over 10 megapixels and takes 3+ shots per second... You need a fast memory card. This is one. This is a GREAT one. The canon rebel is 18MP and the file sizes get up towards 30MB when shooting in RAW. Video also eats up memory quickly.Cameras like the D90 that shoot at 4.5FPS and don't have a huge buffer like pro bodies really benefit from this Class 10 Card. I use one (as well as a T2i) and the memory write speed can make the difference when shooting action.Sandisk is the best in the business, in my humble opinion. Even their USB thumb drives are legendary for quality and reliability. I have several of those, along with other SD cards from Class 10 to ...before they labeled them with speeds.Will a cheap memory card work? Yes!It will. Then one day (maybe one like this) you're going to realize that the performance of your camera is directly related to the cheap card you threw in there. If you take one picture at a time, and don't care if you lose all your images, etc - the cheap cards can do that.Got a new T2i or 60D? Don't consider a slow card if you're thinking about trying the HD movie mode! The video will look great until the camera chokes and basically spits out all the data. Hopefully it wasn't something you were planning on looking at again. Slow cards and massive data transfers do not mix.When you discover the benefits of shooting in RAW and Continuous (good reasons for using a DSLR?), that's where this card comes in to play.If you already realize that you need a fast memory card, you're on the right page. Scroll up and find the "Add to Cart" button. Order this and be done with it.Snazzy looking card, by the way. It deserves some customer images. In my opinion, there are no better SD cards for prosumer and professional DSLRs than the Sandisk Extreme line. The write speed is fast enough to keep up with both RAW images and video. Its really nice when you go to dump the pictures onto your computer as well. Just remember, this memory may be more expensive than other brands (I'm looking at you Transcend) but at least this SD card actually is reliable and as fast as it claims.

This card claims to be durable and high quality... and it is!My underwater camera flooded during a dive in Bonaire, and I thought it was a total loss. Everything was soaked in salt water. When I got back to the hotel I rinsed the memory card under the sink with fresh water and let it dry out. To my surprise the card was still working, but my camera was toast. It still had the one picture I snapped before my camera flooded. I kept using the card in my backup camera for the rest of the trip and it performed flawlessly. This is one good card!

It's a class 10 SDHC card. I bought it for someone else so only tested it a little bit to make sure it worked. So far so good and my laptop wanted to use it as a readyboost device but alas, could only use 4GB of the 8GB available. It arrived quickly enough and I don't remember if it comes with a plastic storage case.

I was a little skeptical at first considering the price of this 8GB unit was more expensive than other 16GB class 10 cards, but after using it I don't regret purchasing it. It has very fast transfer rates and I can see the quality difference from my old Class 6 SD.Definitely worth buying.

Wonderful solidly built SD card. Fast and hasn't let me down. I have had numerous "lesser" (ie cheaper) cards but many have either physically broken (one costing me a fortune to get the bits out of my camera) or just failed - one mid-vacation , grrrrr. I have concluded it is better to spend a little extra

The speed on this card is great. It is clearly faster than many others. This is a nice when doing HD video or transferring files.I am doing OK with it so far, but, my good friend had a problem with this card. He got a read error on and formatting did not get rid of it.
