Service area problems

The phone seems great but I am having issues with my calls. It is advertised as an AT&T phone but checked the back and there is no AT&T logo like my other phone. So trying to figure what what I need to do fr ok m here. I really don't want to have to return it since I already have all my apps, etc on this new one.

I ordered phone, case and screen protectors at the same time, I was told the phone would arrive in seven days and the case and screen protector would arrive in two days. Much to my surprise all the items were delivered in two days. The note 5 (which was for my wife) was just as shown on the website. It was NEW and in original packaging. My wife was extremely happy, happy wife - happy life!!!!

worked great, but after clearing cache for facebook, facebook stopped working and there's no way to uninstall facebook so it can be reinstalled

most regular apps are installed as system apps and can't be uninstalled

i wouldn't recommend this verizon version because apparently only this version does that s***tt

Great phone, be careful with the sellers

The phone is wonderful, if you're considering it, go for it, it's awesome. However my seller marked my phone as "like new" but the phone has scuffs on the corners (literally all four corners) and a scuff on the lock button that makes it feel gummy (no positive click like the volume buttons) and it has to be pressed hard, sometimes twice. I can live with it but I wish if I paid for like new I got like new.

Eh, it's okay.

I have the Note5 for almost 6 months now and I think it's okay. The battery life kind of stink. It seems like i'm always having to charge this thing. I wish it came with the option to add additional storage like the note3 (which I LOVED). I don't see anything special about this phone beside the new look, which i do enjoy, but nothing special about it. I kind of prefer my note3 over this new one.

It is definitely a used phone with some screen damage however I feel like that was to be expected from the description. It was described having wear and tear however it looks like it could be water damage, but as of now I am happy that it is working. I will not be very happy if it is indeed water damaged and stops working. As I said though, for now it is in working condition so I have no complaints.

I love this phone it's a lot like the galaxy s5 ...

I love this phone it's a lot like the galaxy s5 that I replaced but a few more futures and settings and easy to work with. But it does not have the SD card slot and a non-refundable battery back. It takes great pictures and vedio and I belive it's a bit louder in volume then my galaxy s5. This was a great buy even if you can't remove the back and don't have a sd card slot, I've found ways around it .

stuck s-pen

the phone is great except for the s-pen was broken and seemed like it was repaired with graphite but did not work and it was stuck. I had to pry it out and replace. The replacements were better but did not eject properly. So if you buy a Samsung note 5 just recommend that they take off 20 dollars so you can buy your self a new s-pen.

Hoping for new life

Bought this phone as a replacement for my current one having battery issues. I got it and everything was fine for the first day...... then it all came crashing down. The bottom 2/3rds of the screen became noticeably red, the battery was dying faster than my original one and the stylus was in such bad shape that it didn't want to click open. I decided to return it (but forgot to keep my original stylus which I'm kicking myself for). I still like the phone but I need to find a new one that doesn't have the battery issues.

The phone itself is good when it's working, but like anything else it actually has to work first.

s6 and I'm happy.

The screen is incredible. Like really incredible. The resolution is better than my eye can see. I use a Galaxy S4 as my regular phone and it has great resolution where you can't see individual pixels. I thought the S4 screen was as good as you can get, but the S6 screen takes it to a whole new level. Even though you can't see pixels on either screen, the higher resolution of the S6 screen makes everything look so sharp that it's nearly impossible to tell you are looking at a screen. It's that incredible.
The design of the phone just feels more 'expensive'. I mean that in a good way. It feels just higher quality than previous models in the Galaxy S line. The S3 and S4 for example are often critiqued for having a plastic shell. The S6 has a metal band around the outside that just makes it feel 'premium' in your hand. It should also provide more protection for the device as well.
TouchWiz is HEAVILY scaled back. I hate TouchWiz (Samsung's version of Android) It adds a layer of UI that is neither helpful nor intuitive. And it's a resource hog which slows the phone down for important tasks just so it can make the scrolling smoother, and other such useless tradeoffs. On the S6 TouchWiz was barely noticeable. The UI looks more like the standard Google Android Lollipop interface. It was all just much smoother and simpler and better and wonderful.
I finally ended up going with the s6 since it seems like the usability rating was much higher and I didn't want to end up being an apple fanboy.. check out that site if you want to see the different phone models in a side by side comparison.

Great looking phone

Great looking phone. Very fast. Nice and light and thin. I hate how it does not allow you to rearrange the apps on easy mode. The battery is poor. I just use it for calls (average 3 per day) one whatsapp call a day, a few texts per day about 4 5 mins burst on google. Battery down to 25% by 7pm. I have never had a phone where the battery drains so quick. I would get rid of apps i dont use as suggested to preserve the battery (I am already in the habit of clearing everything I used, which does help!) But I have this evening decided to send this phone back.
The other problem, and it could be just this particular phone, is the google voice just starts saying 'I'm sorry, I didnt understand that, blah..." or whatever it is she says, randomly. It started during the first night, so I thought it could have been because I was snoring or talking in my sleep. Then I was sitting alone at home reading a book. Silence, and there was that voice again. The phone was on the table. And its happened a few times, both when its been quiet and every night since I got it. 4 nights! And, it freezes for a few seconds every now and then. At first I thought i was imagining it. But my husband assures me it was definitely freezing as he used it a few times.
I am sure there are a lot of people whom have had more luck than me.
I am not sure whether I will be getting another one. In the meantime, back to my old phone!

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has an eye-catching design and high-end hardware, and takes extraordinary photos. Using a stylus has never felt better and battery life is extraordinary. But on batteries that cannot be removed and there are no external storage options.

I love it!

After trying my hand on everything from symbian to ios to windows phone to android, I was not going away from android any time soon.In terms of hardware also I have tried them all and the only problem with android phones was that they were kind of ugly.Then came this phone.They have been calling it the best android phone ever and I can even dare say its the best value you can get for a phone presently.I really don't have anything remotely down the negative side from my experience of 2 weeks.some say the battery wont last long,its as good as any other phone I had and its definitely not super but 12 hours average with normal usage is enough for me (and using the power saving mode can squeeze out a couple of extra hours).Another thing that some people may find a negative is non expandable memory, well again atleast for me 32 gigs is pretty cool and you always can dump stuff on your computer and the cloud (dropbox,google drive,onedrive so on..).Paying for storage (its the cheapest component in any device) in not something anyone should be doing (unless you are a corporation).
I will be surprised if any phone in the near future will be able to beat this one in terms of value.

All in all.. a painless 15 minutes upgrade.

Worked right out of the Box. Because its the G920F version finding the exact model on Samsung's US site is tricky and frankly not necessary.
The box arrived clean, and perfectly sealed. (if your box arrives and the Seal is damaged I recommend contacting the seller). The contents were all present and accounted for including a separately packaged US plug adapter. I now have Another 6' Micro USB cable. :)
The phone had 49% charge upton powering it on, and the initial setup was simple.
I used the "Smart Switch" software provided by Samsung to move all my crap from my S5 to my S6. How ever, it does not copy the OS settings. Just your data.
I did have to take some scissors and trim down my SIM card to make it fit the Card Carriage that the S6 uses. But that was a minor issue.
One it was setup and the data was copied over I was very happy with it. Fast, responsive, the new fingerprint reader is a lot easier to use.
Now I have to setup the OS once again, but that's half the fun. :)

It seems to just die whenever I am travelling somewhere

As the title states I have noticed whenever I am about to travel somewhere this phone seems to just stop working. No response, no LED indicators, just nothing (with a fully charged battery). On top of that I have never had so many problem with typos as I have with this phone. It is the worst. After 3 years of owning it I still can't manage. I sometimes thin its a sick game Samsung employees play. I'm not quite sure how Samsung competes with Apple as a flagship phone maker because this phone is quite the opposite. I could go on, but I will end with don't buy Samsung phones. They are not worth the premium price.

Samsung Galaxy S6 unlocked

This phone came in perfect condition, in a factory sealed box... packaged exactly as you would find it in any retail store here in the U.S. It's came factory unlocked, so it's ready to be used on any compatible mobile system. The box contained the S6, a set of ear buds, a 1 meter USB to micro-usb cable, a quick charger, and a tool to pop out the SIM card holder.

The phone I received was destined for the United Arab Emirate, so the included quick charger was configured for their wall outlets and not the ones here in the U.S. I did test it with one of my international outlet adapters and it charges the S6 properly. There were also a few pre-installed apps that are probably popular/useful in the UAE.

Over-all, I'm happy with this purchase.

Happy purchase, not a paid review.

Bought this from Topshop direct. Details were used like new, in box. The only thing wrong with it was a few peck marks on the screen, but after installing a screen protector you can't even see them at all. It is GSM unlocked, not bootloader unlocked (att). Phone works great with no problems. Do not like--nonremovable battery, no sd card slot, surely a Samsung goof up. Good purchase, definitely satisfied.

Still Good, preferable to the newer models in my opinion.

Good phone. Bought a brand new Galaxy this fall and hated it, after having a Galaxy 8 for 5 years. New phone was way too large and bulky.

Returned it and bought a used Galaxy 9+, for under $200. Came in like-new condition, good battery life, and much more user-friendly/compact than the brand new Galaxy, while still larger than my S8.

Not sure why companies feel the need to ruin good products by following bizarre trends. They can just offer oversized "Notes" for people who want an oversized phone. Most people probably want one that can actually fit in your pocket.

Came with stuck SIM tray but luckily I bought this solely for a student project. Great phone otherwise

The phone itself is great! Ive always had an iPhone so really liking the bigger screen although carrying it around in my pocket is not as easy.

I bought this phone to use for a school project and therefore DO NOT use it as an actual phone. The reason why I am saying this is because my phone came with a defective sim tray. I have tried to open my sim tray but it is stuck and does not open. I know sim trays sometimes needs a lot of force to open but this one is 100% stuck. Luckily for me, I didnt need access to the sim tray in the first place but for those of you looking to use it as a normal phone, keep this in mind.

Almost perfect experience. The S Pen broke in half when I went to pull it out of Note 5 phone within 48 hours of delivery, so I was forced to buy a new one from Samsung. Other than that it was great!

Phone was ok in good condition but ever since I have had it the battery will not stay charged long at all. Not a good thing to have to worry about your phone going dead if you were to really need it.
