I just got this controller today and have mixed feelings about it.Pros:- the controller is comfortable to hold and the rubberized surface is great to keep it from slipping around- ABXY buttons have better feedback than the Microsoft controllers, it feels and sounds like a mouse click when you press them- the braided cord is much better than the MS ones which can break or crease- programmable bumpers are a big improvement over your standard controller (found them most useful for performing a reload or jump)- thumb pieces on the analogue sticks are more dented and grip much better than the MS onesCons:- bumpers cannot be programmed to a direction on the the D-pad (up down left right)- the right and left sticks don't have identical resistance, which means at their highest and lowest settings they feel much different from each other, and my right stick on the loosest setting is still much tighter than the standard MS analogue stick which doesn't help at all, this could just be a manufacturing error though- the triggers come out about twice as far as the Microsoft triggers requiring more "reach" to press them, which feels like a downgrade from the stock MS triggers- the start and back buttons are hard to reach, and makes "spotting" in BC2 impossibleOverall it is a good controller and for the price it's a great deal, for now I'm going to try and exchange my Razer Onza for another one to see if the resistance in both sticks are actually the same. If the same problem exists in the new controller I'm going to have to pass.

The reason I got this controller is because razer has amazing pc items like mice and headsets. I have had this controller for 2 weeks and Loved it until the right trigger stopped working right. I work 14 hrs a day 6 days a week, so I don't get to game long and it still only lasted 2 WEEKS! I expected better from razer.

Let me first say that this product is the best controller I have ever handled. It fits great in your hand and has the most responsive buttons and best triggers I have ever touched. The adjustable thumb sticks are fantastic allowing you to adjust the resistance encountered by them. Which, is super helpful for preforming more consistent shots in fps games.However, this product is not without flaw. When I first purchased it I received a defective one. The problems I encountered, like random buttons activating on their own and no response form others when engaged, showcased themselves almost immediately. I thought at first that the cable was just bent weird or needed to be straightened. However, after 3 weeks of trying to deal with it and no improvement observed, I requested a replacement.The new one is perfect; no problems and no defects.I will recommend this controller to anyone who wants the best xbox 360 controller on the market.Pro:Buttons respond quickly and without delay.Triggers are smooth.Thumb sticks are incredible.Comfortable to hold for long periods of timeCon:Defects common.Cord is a bit too long.

This controller was amazing at first. The toggle bumpers were what sold me on purchasing this controller. I also liked the adjustable thumb sticks, but the controller feels very cheep when you hold it. Oh and mine broke in 31 days and I treated it like a baby. In my opinion you are better off going with a Microsoft controller.

i ordered this mainly because i've been very impressed with their keyboard, and thought I'd give a 3rd party controller a try. well im sticking to the official controllers still, this thing has some cool features, but in all honesty they just don't perform the way you'd hope. the pros: the back-lit extra sensitive buttons were cool and worked well, nice look, super long braided cable was a big plus, button re-maping. the cons: strange feeling and acting triggers, can't re-map the D-pad to the buttons, the triggers are an odd and uncomfortable shape, the start and select buttons are in an annoying place, the D-pad feels cheap and makes a lot of noise, and the re-mapable buttons are cheap and break quickly. the biggest con comes from the control sticks though, they are supposed to be adjustable, and they are, but it doesn't work the way you'd think, if you try to turn them up to a high resistance what happens is they are loose in the middle, but get more and more difficult to move as you try to push it to the side, and with higher resistance it becomes impossible to even push it all the way, cool idea, but executed poorly.all in all, this thing is a lot better than a madcatz controller or some cheap off-brand, but it didn't blow me away (5-star) or even live up to my expectations of it (4-star), just a sad reminder that if i want a high quality controller i have to stick with the official Microsoft ones.

So... a little interested in getting a pc controller, this one caught my attention because of the suspension customization on the analog controls... after playing it for the past couple weeks, I've realized that this controller is pretty much like a xbox controller for the pc, but the buttons are much easier to mash on quickly and it's nice having a few extra buttons on top for quick selections... I guess there's a way to customize each button which doesn't matter to me cause every game I've played so far 'BF3, Alice, Dead Island' recognizes the controller and everything's already pre-set for me... amazing epic awesome cool comfy glows with little led lights which rocks Epic controller... enough said

The Razer Onza is a much needed answer to the lacking 360 controller. The programmable top buttons are awesome as well as the adjustable thumbsticks! The overall feel of the controller is off though. The triggers feel weird for FPS games and the start and back buttons are not easily located. This makes it frustrating to check the score count and alive vs dead opponents in games like Halo between spawns(which is really necessary in a competitive environment).The biggest problem though: IT HAS SLOW TURN! Dear god how could they not test for this. The number one thing a competitor checks for in a controller is that it doesn't stick or have no slow. Slow turn simply means that all directions of the thumbstick do not operate at the same speeds. My controller turns about 2xs faster to the right than it does to the left. Sure I can rip apart the controller and sand it down, but I mean come on! I really shouldn't have to do this with a controller that is designed for tournaments and pro players.The other minor problem I have is that you are not allowed to use the controller in MLG tournaments. It's not really Razer's fault. It's the money grubbers at MLG.The controller is an awesome idea though. It looks great, the quick micro switch buttons are awesome, etc, etc. But I can't get over the problem of having an inconsistent aiming device. Sorry Onza. Hopefully you will address this problem quickly!

I purchased my controller as a preorder and recieved it a month ahead of time. I was very excited to use it. The adjustable analog sticks are a god send for any fps player. There are some days were I just can't pick a specific sensitivity and wish they had more options. With the Onza I can fine tune the controller to the perfect sensitivity. No more of those frustrating gaming sessions where I either feel to sluggish or move to swift.The standard a,b,x, and y buttons are incredibly responsive and took some time to get my timing just right. The programmable buttons are extremely useful, and Razer is the first company to do the buttons correctly. There is nothing under the controller to get in the way of my fingers. You can also program the controller on the fly, so you can decide to change the button setup in the middle of the game and it only takes seconds.This controller is very comfortable in my hands. The only part of the controller that feels foreign to my grip are the triggers. With only about 4 hours of gaming I was completely use to them. I recommend this to anybody with an xbox. It has more features than the standard controller, and it's the same price.This controller is not like the cheap madcats or pelican controllers. It is a quality product.

The controller is amazing compared to the standard Microsoft controller, I haven't tried any other controllers beside this (and the standard) but my only complaint is the wire takes some time to uncurl.

I purchased this controller about three months ago (my invoice says May 12). The left stick has developed a problem with the "up direction." Whenever I push up, the controller output stutters and it makes playing almost any game a hassle at the very least.As a mature gamer who treats his games and accessories with great care, this isn't what I expect from a company that bills themselves as purveyors of controllers for professional gamers. This doesn't seem tournament grade to me.When the controller worked properly, it was a dream. It has great features and functions well. Now that pressing up or forward doesn't work, there's no point in using the controller. Most all games use this direction extensively.Razer won't take it back since I bought it on Amazon, and Amazon won't take it back since I've had it for three months. I'm stuck, and out of $40. I won't be buying another Razer product. Maybe it's a bad first impression, but it really isn't worth the risk of cost at this point.

The Good:-Rubberized surface is comfortable.-Super long cord is nice.-XYAB button feel like mouse clicker buttons and generally work very well.-Mappable shoulder buttons are a great idea.-Slightly longer thumb sticks are better for precision.The Bad:-The adjustable tension on the sticks is not very good (cool idea; poorly implemented).-Triggers are too long and are not comfortable at all.-Shoulder bumper buttons and remappable shoulder buttons are too close together resulting in both getting pressed.-Stick buttons (depressing the thumb sticks) are tough and when the sticks are pressed forward -- while running for instance -- it is very difficult to press the stick button in.-Making the d-pad individual buttons seems like a good idea, but it's not well implemented here. They're still too close together and it easily feels like you'd hit multiple unintended directions. (It'd been better if they just mimicked the Playstation d-pad).-You cannot use the messaging keyboard adapter with this controller.The Meh:-The backlit XYAB buttons look neat, but are functionally worthless.-Braided cord seems nice, but I've never seen a cord break in the center of the cord; always happens at the connection points.-Feels a little light (preference thing).-Start and back buttons are moved down to the center of arch. Not sure why. Takes some getting used to.

This controller is very good, way better than the MS one. It has some very sweet, useful features. The negative side is that afeter some time the plastic coating covering the left stick falls. This is not so bad, but for those of you that doesn't like things having issues will ruin the experience. Overall it is a recommended buy for every XBox 360 owner who enjoys shooters.

Tengo alrededor de un mes usandolo al comienzo todo perfecto la verdad una gran idea de razer mucho mas preciso y comodo que el original de xbox pero lamentablemente el control tiene problemas con los sticks se mueven solos lo que hace imposible su uso, este problema se ha reportado en muchos foros y paginas dedicadas al ramo, soy fanatico de razer poseo varios de sus productos en este caso a pesar que me emociono cuando lo adquiri y lo use el control es una basura NO ENTIENDO COMO UNA COMPA?IA COMO ESTA SACA A LA VENTA UN CONTROL SIN HABERLO PROBADO BIEN PRIMERO POR DIOS... Compralo si vives en USA y lo puedes devolver porque de seguro en poco tiempo presentara los mismos problemas que le ha presentado a casi todo el mundo.

Sounds great until actually using it.After playing halo reach and having my controller die on me I needed a new one. Being mostly an fps player I heard about the razer onza and thought I would give it a try. I was pretty excited to receive the onza after reading all the features on the razer website. After playing with the onza for a few hours i realized i made a terrible mistake. It did have all the features it claimed however practically all the features where useless and badly implemented. The way the button clicks is absolutely annoying and it is ambiguous if you have actually pressed the button. The macro keys are too close together to be useful and changing the tension is pretty much useless as your finger adapts to one tension set it is impossible to know what setting you are on if you change it. I ended up returning the onza and ordering the standard xbox 360 controller and wondered why I wanted something different since it works perfectly and feels familiar and comfortable.PS - The y(yellow) key stopped working for me after 1 day of playing. The one I received would also randomly disconnect. I probably got a lemon.

I was excited as can be to get this controller after checking it out, and ignoring the hundreds of negative reviews saying the controller is faulty.After getting mine, I was in amazement at how bad the quality is. The controller looks good, and is a great concept, but the thing is it isnt worth the fact of most of these controllers come NEW with problems.My left thumb stick, like most say, was very hard to push the toggle. Which in games like call of duty means sprinting is impossible. Also the right stick when trying to look down, it would swing up. And vise-versa. All together the controller has eye appeal but it is absolutely terrible. Don't take the risk.I had raged after finding out the controller was DOA and went to walmart to impulse buy the new rotating D-Pad official controller and am plenty happy with my purchase. As of right now, there is NO alternative to the Xbox licensed controller on the market as far as quality goes.I repeat, do not buy this.

The controller was great... While it lasted.The buttons are amazing, especially a b x and y- they're light as a feather, and feel more like a very high-end mouse click than a controller button.The longer triggers and adjustable thumbsticks are GREAT for racing games, though I admit for fps games I just leave the triggers on the loosest setting.The d pad is great for blops but worthless for just about anything else.Now on to the part where it gets one star:It lasted about 4 weeks before it started to fail. The left thumbstick started ghosting (basically it registers upward movement when it's not being manipulated at all), the housing started to crack and creak jut from squeezing it to press in r3, and finally, the left trigger stopped sensing consistent presses before I threw in the towel.I'm sending it back to razer, though I'm not really excited about my replacement. It's too bad too because ergonomically I'm not sure much could be improved- its an awesome controller!. Sigh.

This is probably one of the best controller I have ever used. The stick is precised and responsive, the buttons are awesome with great tactile feel and fast response time. That said, it's also one of the worst accessories I have ever bought for my Xbox 360 when it comes to quality. The programmable shoulder button stop working in less than an hour after I got the controller. The A button then proceed to fail after another hour or so. The sticks haven't fail on me like they did on other reviewers here but I am sure that will be next after few more days of usage.Great controller, shoddy workmanship. Shame. I guess I will be avoiding their mouses also. I used it at 2011 PAX and the mouses they have were awesome but I am sure it will also crap out. They just lost a customer for life.

The controller comes with no software, which is good because I've tried Razer's software before and it was horrible. I'm using a trial version of Pinnacle Game Profiler and I'm pretty close to buying a license. The controller works very well with this software key-mapping/mouse-emulator program. It has a slight learning curve, but that's mostly because of interface trip-ups and not poor functionality.At first I was a little sad that the extra buttons on the shoulders were only able to be re-mapped from the controller itself, but it's okay because I'd rather have them act as thumb-stick button-presses. I suppose I don't like that I can't turn off the button LEDs. I also wish that this controller came in a Bluetooth configuration with re-chargeable batteries, but I can't have everything.Honestly, despite this little minor annoyances that I'm pretty much over already, I would buy another controller from Razer before anyone else's product. All I would want is a little more customization options and I'd happily pay an extra $20 for a new one.

controller sucks. the ABXY buttons feel cheap and thin. good grip but feels cheply made. the bumpers suck as well. they try to make it over the top fance and it fails. onza failed, they usually make great products but this one is not worth it. i wasted 40 bbucks on this

Initially amazing controller, adapted quickly, loved it's features. Analog sticks are great as u r able to tighten them or loosen to ur liking. trigerrs reduce response time. BREAKS alot....exchanging for the third time now. First time Rb button failed, then left trigger. now left analog click is gone, responds to pressure only. Fail. U will replace it but is great. However U will never be as great as myself. I live next door to microsoft servers. Just get better man.

I bought this controller mainly for two reasons: the D-pad, and the ability to adjust the analog sticks.Now the D-pad is definitely better than what the regular 360 controller offers, I've been using it with the new Mortal Kombat game and it works just fine. I'm not hitting the wrong direction when trying to pull off special moves or fatalities. So in that respect it is great. However the D-pad feels extremely clunky, and it is unnecessarily raised off the controller. I'm not sure why they did this, or if they thought there was a benefit to raising the buttons so high (especially considering they lowered the ABXY buttons and made them feel like mouse clicks to make them more responsive, so it is a little confusing). Also, suddenly two of the D-pad buttons started sticking after a couple days.As for adjusting the analog sticks, I have no gripes. It is one of the best innovations I've seen on a controller in a long time.Overall its a pretty good controller, but falls short of being great thanks to the clunky D-pad. I thought the Razer Onza would not only rival but dethrone the Playstation controller in terms of the D-pad, but unfortunately this is not the case. Hopefully Razer will make an improved version of this controller in the near future.

5/5 no question, the best console peripheral ever.Adjustable joystick tension is awesome. I have always been a precision player so I'd play on 1 sensitivity in Halo Reach and 2 is CoD: Black Ops. After using this controller my average sensitivity in Reach is up to 5 at minimum with increased accuracy. I personally like to loosen the movement joystick, and slightly tighten the aiming joystick.The re-mappable MFB(multiple functional buttons) should allow any player to use most, if not all of the commands to an FPS without sacrificing the joystick for even a moment. After getting used to them in less than a day my K/D average was much higher than ever before. Overall the best feature to the controller. The black ops controller with them doesn't stack up to this even in the slightest bit.The A, B, X, and Y buttons take getting used to. They are extremely sensitive but provide a response that feels signifignantly faster than the stock controllers.Bottom line: best controller on the market. If you need a new controller get this over anything you have considered. I have tried lots of everything to increase my FPS performance and nothing ever noticeably helped as much as this controller did.FYI I have only had the controller for 24 hours and have already decided to never use a different one again.
