Just as the title states; the features it offers are GREAT. But it is NOT backed by decent quality at the slightest. After 1 month of owning the controller, with LIGHT USAGE, the buttons all started to crap out on me. Specifically the right remappable one first.You can buy it to try it, but don't buy it to own it. I was REALLY looking forward to this controller when it was first announced, back in my Halo 3 days. But ultimately, I am left disappointed that I have to return this controller as it does not help me whatsoever in Halo 4. I will be off to buy a wired Microsoft Xbox 360 controller instead.

What do you need to know about the Dragon Age 2 Collectors Edition?You get a code for Dragon Age 2 that unlocks a few things.The controller has a pretty nice more unique red blood stained skin.You have to deal with a Dragon Age 2 Logo...It's not collectors item....Certificate of Authenticity is a joke....I'ts a Razer Onza with a slightly different skin, and code for Dragon Age 2...that is all. :)(UPDATE: Anddddddddddddd it's gone!!!!!....heh, the controller joysticks have torn apart within 3 months, pathetic quality materials)

This controller is indeed superior to most other Xbox 360 controllers on the market. It fits perfectly into your hand, and the reaction time of the buttons is much faster than on the standard controller. The only two problems I have with it are 1: The extra two buttons can get in the way at times, and more than once I found myself hitting the wrong bumper. And 2: It is a wired controller, which I dislike, although that could be just me.

This was great, this is a must have for all gamers, this has allowed me to spend fun time with my kids, with playing game sin the computer. This is a must have. I highly recommend especially for those people who have a hard time with all of the regular controllers do to , to many buttons.

I bought this used and even with the wear and tear it functions well. The buttons are extremely responsive and will take some getting used to. But all in all, an AWESOME controller!

worthless. great for a while, but breaks eventually. not worth the money. also after a good while of using this controller, you joints will hurt, especially on the thumbsticks. dont buy!!

I had this controller for about a month. It was a little strange at first, but I fell in love with how this controller felt and fit my hand. The extra buttons were awesome, especially for battlefield games where you need to use the spot button. I just remapped it to one of the extra buttons. This controller is awesome, but the reason I am only giving it 2 stars is, no matter how awesome something is, it should not break or be faulty after 1 month of use. I am very careful to take care of all of my gaming accessories and systems. My left trigger began acting like i was pressing it in and out constantly after only 1 month of use. So, in other words, if i was trying to aim down my sights, I would be popping in and out of my sights really fast while holding down the left trigger. I thought it might be lag, so i switched servers and the same thing happened to me. I also tried the trigger in other games and it was faulty in those games as well. Another problem I started to notice just after 2 weeks of use, is my right analog stick would start to be very stiff to move without me even adjusting the tension on it. I would have to wiggle it back and forth really fast to "loosen" it up which was very weird to me. I should have read reviews on this thing before I bought it because to me, taking this thing back constantly, and having to buy a new extended warranty at some stores if you were to get it at like Best Buy, just isn't worth it to me. This is very sad because I absolutely have always loved Razer products, and this controller was sick. Hopefully Razer will fix the quality of the build or whatever is causing all of these controllers to break so easily, or even ship broken, because when they do, I will for sure buy another one. Until now, I am investing in the Avenger controller add on with Kontrol Freak stick extenders, which I have reviewed the stick extenders and they are great as well.

Love this controller, lots of cord length and the customizable joystick and extra shoulder bumpers are great. It also work on windows 7 and unlike other 3rd party wired controller windows detects it as a official controller.

I bought 2 of these and replaced both twice. I love the hyperresponse buttons I think all controllers should have them. There's a great feel to actually hearing your click from each button press. They are also extremely easy to press so your fingers won't get tied down hammering "B" to beat down someone. The cable that comes with it feels really good as it is braided and has a huge length. A lot of people complain and say the controller feels cheap, I disagree. It feels light. I appreciate that so I don't have to pick up a 5 pound controller. The coating is nice nothing super special but a nice touch nonetheless. I really like the D-pad. It was a little sticky at first but wearing it in made it work better and better (like new speakers needing that initial wear in time). The shoulder buttons are great I never really used the added one but I could see its use. I HATED the triggers. They have an awkward position. They sit slightly too far out to comfortably grasp the controller and aim/shoot (and I have pretty large hands). Lastly the adjustable analog sticks are great. HOWEVER, they also are the problem. While I loved adjusting the sticks for FPS and for RPG (I like FPS loose and RPG really tight) both times I had them, the triggers would get stuck forward. Initially I replaced one and thought maybe I had been sprinting too much in my games (not from lightweight/marathon lol), but then both replacements stopped working within two days. I am extremely good with my technology. Still use the original controllers I got with my xbox 3 years ago. It pains me to complain about a Razer product but there really is no excuse for this problem occurring. I have seen it in other reviews so buyer be wary. I will say if you are willing to gamble I really enjoyed the product while I was able to use it. Really hope Razer fixes it because they are a local company from my town and their other products have been highly touted by gaming communities and myself. Hope this was useful.

I love this controller, but it sadly does not last long. I dropped it on accident from 2 feet and it broke the worst part is I wont probably be able to get a replacement. the controller is great, but it is extremely fragile, you have to treat it like a porcelain doll. I love the feel and sensitivity of the controller. But I have to warn other about how easy is is to brake the controller you have to be super careful with it.

For something advertised as a tournament controller this sure is some junk. I had for 4 days and the joysticks stopped responding properly and the rubber pad on the joysticks started to fall off.

I bought this controller a few months ago after reading some positive reviews. The main reason was because I needed a controller for my pc. I liked the idea of the adjustable tension joysticks and figured it would also be useful with fps games on my 360 so I shelled out the extra cash for it over the regular, wired 360 controller. The best thing I can say about it is that it is comfortable. The contour and rubberized grip feels very tactile. That's about it. Everything else is problems. Here's the rundown:-The shoulder buttons get in the way. Your fingers are resting right on them at the same time as your fingertips are on the triggers. This causes many accidental melee swings or inopportune reloads in games like Gears of War or Halo. I understand the reasoning: you don't have to move your finger as far to melee attack after a shooting frenzy. This would definitely be advantageous to a competitive player, but it creates more problems than it's worth.-The triggers suck. They don't have the springiness to them that the MS controllers have. Not just that but they seem to have very little progressive depression to them. Makes them worthless for racing games. Your back end will do nothing but spin out at every turn. No pun intended.-The joysticks require a lot of effort to click in. Not helpful.-The mouse style face buttons have little practical use in most games. And I did not find them to be quicker or more responsive as Razer claims them to be. They seem less responsive, actually.-Now here comes the worst part. After hours of getting my butt kicked in Gears 3 multiplayer (I was fairly in to Gears 1 but never played 2) I unplugged this controller and started up my old fashioned MS controller and what happened? I went from 1/13 k/d ratios to total annihilation in team deathmatch. So that's what prompted this review.So. . . in conclusion I have to say that I don't recommend this product. It had some decent ideas, but the end result isn't much more than an expensive novelty.

For the first few days that I had this controller, it has been amazing to me. It worked on both xbox and pc, and the tension on the joy sticks make any sensitivity manageable (10 on halo 4 and yet maintain accuracy). The extra bumpers are awesome since they're so accessible and easy to change. My friend plays on a different controller scheme than me, and changing the extra buttons for him was a ease.I know the other reviews say this will break, so I will update this as necessary.

i thought it was the best thing, until I actually held the thing..Complete waste of money and completely over prized! you can feel the chinese made this thing. TRASH!!The only positives is the extra buttons and adjustable sticks, other than that DONT buy it. My broke last week the stick just decided to give out.I only had it for about a month, I called Razer for support and I didnt know Razer was IN INDIA!!! TRASH TRASH TRASH.. DONT BUY IT TRUST ME!!

I bought this controller about 7 months ago. I loved it! It worked well, improved my game and i really like the ability to dial in the thumb controls. About a week ago the left trigger started going out. I have to put just the right about of pressure to the trigger in order to get it to work. I contacted Razer and asked if i could send in for repair or if they sell a new switch for the trigger and the answer was No. So now i'm stuck with a $50 paper weight. What a waste! What really makes me mad is that there is no recourse to get it repaired. I would not recommend this product to anyone!

I'm on my second return of this controller.First controller's problem was with the left joystick: defective. sometimes the left stick stopped responding, other times it responded without input. The left stick click was not sensitive enough, even at the loosest setting. I also noticed the right trigger was a bit gummy and not as quick to return to neutral as the left trigger.The replacement controller's problem was with the audio jack. No output and the input was too hot. I couldn't hear through my headset and the mic picked up everything at roughly 300%. The left stick was fine on this controller. No trigger issues. They worked great, clean and fast.Waiting on my third controller to arrive.__________aside from my unfortunate experience with defective models, this controller has many benefits:Obviously, the tension control on the joysticks allow for more fluid and precise action. At higher tensions the sticks feel gummy, though not sticky. i like this. The center recovery time is the same at higher and lower tensions, or not enough difference to tell. The amount of play, or dead response at rest position is small, very good for detailed control.The ABXO buttons are low profile and have a mechanical press to them. The triggers are slightly uncomfortable as I have large hands, but I'm getting used to it. Trouble is, for me to feel completely in control of the triggers plus have quick access to the shoulder buttons I need to keep my index fingers out of the deep part of the curve and out towards the edge. This makes for a larger distance between trigger and shoulder buttons, and a slightly uncomfortable feel on the triggers. However, having your index finger towards the end of the banana shaped triggers allow for more control from a physics standpoint (further from the fulcrum).Another complaint is the positioning of the right joystick and the ABXO buttons. Slightly too close for bigger hands. As i'm getting used to this controller, I find my right thumb sometimes touches the right stick as I'm depressing (X) or (A). There isn't much clearance there as both the joystick is taller and the buttons are closer to the stick than the proprietary controllers.In the end, assuming I get a hold of a controller that isn't defective, I'll be happy. Aside from a few of the layout issues this product is superior to the proprietary controllers.

I ordered my Razer Onza Tournament Edition and it arrived in a very prompt manner. Item was in excellent condition and arrived in a sturdy cardboard box. I am pleased with it and it works great with my XBOX360 Slim as well as with my Asus Nexus 7 via an OTG (on the go) adapter. My only qualm is that I have to buy a new 2.5mm headset as my official XBOX360 headset will not fit in the headset port.

Alright, so here's the skinny; I purchased this so that I could play console oriented (Dark Souls, the Assassin's Creed games, ect.) and racing games. Within a few weeks, the right stick started acting up. Turns out, this is a flaw in the design. Many others are having this issue. I sent it back, and sure enough, same issue same day! I love Razer's mice, keyboards and headsets, but this is just awful. It's very comfortable with its soft rubberized grip (although the buttons and the triggers are awful), it's just not good. Just get a regular controller. It'll last longer.

I bought this controller to play on my PC, but it works just fine on the 360 as well, and while I didn't buy it for the 360, I use it exclusively on the 360 now as well. The Razer Onza Tournament was by far better than the Microsoft versions for me.I went through two Microsoft Xbox 360 controllers, both the normal version and the "For Windows" version before trying out the Onza. I got the "Blue Screen of Death" for each one immediately upon plugging the Microsoft controllers in for the first time. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit. I tried installing new Microsoft drivers upon the reboot from the BSoDs, but I couldn't get the computer to recognize either of the stock controllers after trying everything on the Microsoft forums and home remedies that other came up with. You can imagine my frustration that a controller made by Microsoft was giving me so many problems in Windows. The Razer Onza, on the other hand, was recognized immediately by Windows and I could start playing Trackmania 2 and Bastion right away with no drivers to download. It was effortless to plug in and use.I like the stick tension knobs because I like a little bit of weight/resistance to my actions. I like the feedback I get from the buttons. The rumble is good, and the controller is extremely comfortable to hold. It's extremely rugged compared to other controllers, in my opinion.I've used it for at least 200 hours by now between the 360 and PC. Gears 3, Skyrim, Trackmania 2, Bastion, Deus Ex, VVVVVV, and The Witcher 2 have all performed very well, and I love using the Onza with these games. I recommend this controller highly for PC and Xbox 360 use.

very faulty hardware. i use alot of gaming accessories and the hydra's performance was terrible. it performs differently on every other game, some games good, other games bad. after complaining to the rep at razer about the difficulty of using this hardware, he sent me an email referring me to a totally different web site to download extra drivers as if the drivers provided for me on the razer web site wasnt enough. downloading the 3rd party app did help some, but just did not solve all the issues. this accessory is EXTREMELY BUGGY, making the cursor jump all over the screen randomly even while sitting still on its base and even not working at all with other games, and requires carefully detailed configurations from each game separately. if you own alot of games like i do, this can become easily frustrating. it was a very good idea with a nice look and feel, but at the end of the day it is very terrible engineering. i gave this item a 2 out of 5 for the only pro that it was a good idea and attempt to become "The Next Best Gaming Accessory". it just failed at doing so. so to sum it all up, good idea, extremely bad build. hope this honest review helps.

Works well for both PC and the Xbox 360. It's a little smaller than most controllers so if you have big hands like I do it takes some adjustment. The only complaint I would have is that it should come with either two cords, one shorter and one longer, or it should be wireless. It looks like Razer may have fixed that issue with the next gen though.
