Be carefull!!!! Does not play music and media audio with Samsung galaxy note 2!!Sound and noise reduction is good, but as a regular bluetooth without media streeming VERY MUCH OVERPRICED!!!

Cuts out wind noise, has NO echoing problem, and answers my calls almost instantly (no weird lag that cuts off your "hello")...and it also has an AWESOME range of about 25-50 feet or so.

The sound quality on this headset is excellent, better than some higher end headsets. As a plus it came with every way to charge it imaginable. Am going to order one for my daughter.

The Discovery 975 has clear sound and mutes the sound of wind well. The battery will last the day under normal usage. It works will for me.

Ingeniously Simple. That's the slogan that Plantronics has dawned on their latest flagship Bluetooth headset and it seems fitting. This headset is simple to use, has a simple design, and has simply clear calls.I've been using the Plantronics Discovery 925 Bluetooth Earpiece (Black) [Retail Packaging] for the past year and have been extremely happy with it. Seems Plantronics has taken the 925 and improved on it to deliver the Discovery 975.SETUPPairing the headset with my phone was a quick process. Set my phone to pairing mode, click the headset, and input the pairing code into the phone. Ingeniously Simple.PERFORMANCESince receiving the headset, I've been trying to test it in various scenarios - driving on the freeway with the window open, in the car with the radio on, while watching tv, and more. In all scenarios, my friends were able hear me clearly, and I was able to hear them with no issues.DESIGNThe design of the 975 follows a similar design of the 925 - slim, sleek and stylish. Though IMO it looks a lot sleeker than the 925, I found the 975 a bit more difficult to press the primary button. On the 925, I would be able to lightly tap the button for it to work, and to hold down to start voice commands. For the 975, I would have to give it a firm press before it responded.In terms of fit, Plantronics includes 3 ear gels, small, medium, and large, so that you can get that comfortable fit. The headset just pops into my ear easily. Despite my efforts to violently shake my head non-stop, the headset remained in place, and I got a minor headache. The headset remains comfortable even when I wear it for a few hours.CHARGER/CHARGING CASEWith the 925 and the 975, Plantronics provides a couple options for charging the headset. The 925 came with a AC charging adapter, a USB charging adapter, and a charging case (also known as a lipstick case). The 975 includes all except the USB charging adapter, which can be purchased separately. To charge, you can plug the charging adapter directly into the headset, put the headset into the case and plug the charging adapter into the case, or just the case itself when it's charged. Plugging the adapter into the case will charge both the headset and the case simultaneously. It takes only 1.5 hours to charge full!The charging case is a great accessory for those that frequently talk on the phone, need a place to store the headset while not in use, or go on short trips. Gone are the days when you would run out of batteries in the middle of the day. The one drawback that I found is that it is a bit bulky to fit in the pocket of my pants.The 975 charging case is much improved over its predecessor. With the charging indicator LEDs, it makes it easy to determine when the headset and case is fully charged. Another minor but welcome addition is that they include a keychain, so that you can either keep it with your keys, or hook it to your pants.One thing to note for users of the 925 is that the cases cannot be swapped. Though the case and headset are similar size, the boom mic of the 975 is a bit wider, and the hole for the charging adapter has been moved slightly, making it difficult to put the 925 in the 975 case, and vice versa (of course you can try to force it).CUSTOMER SERVICE/WARRANTYI was pleasantly surprised at the great customer service I received when I encountered an issue with my Discovery 925. The 925 was able receive voice commands, and hear the other person, but the other person was not able to hear me. Unable to fix the issue, the representative set up the RMA. Plantronics sent me what seemed to be a NEW (not refurbished!!) replacement 925 on their dime without requiring any credit card information, or receiving my old 925 unit first. If I remember correctly, they even paid for return shipping. They let me keep most of the extra accessories, only requiring me return the headset in one of the charging cases.The Discovery 975 is a solid performer that IMO leads the Bluetooth headset field in performance and little extras (such as the charging case). Though the 975 has some minor quirks and drawbacks when compared to its older sibling 925, such as the lack of a USB charging adapter and button quirk, the great performance, excellent customer service, and warranty makes me believe the hefty price may be well worth it.

I had one of the original Jawbone headsets, & it broke in half. The next one broke in a different spot. Then I tried a Jawbone prime, but it failed electronically, and the warranty replacement just didn't have good sound quality, although I still use it as an emergency backup.Then I got a Jabra stone, but it kept pocket-dialing, so I exchanged it for a Plantronics Discovery 975. OK, it's not very stylish, and the comfort is merely acceptable, but it sounds great, lasts a LONG time, has a pocket charger, and it still works fine after a year of heavy, heavy use. I'm in multi hour telecons several times a week and it rarely runs out of juice.Oh, and my wife just ran it thru the washing machine AND the dryer, AND IT STILL WORKS.Yeah, I can hardly believe it either, but it's true.I'm a loyal Plantronics customer from now on!

I like the feel and operation of this device. Battery life is pretty close to what was advertised.There are times when I have heard a minor echo during use. Moving the device closer to the phone alleviated this issue

I have been disappointed with this Bluetooth since the day I received it. I should have immediately returned it but I kept it to see if maybe I wasn't operating it correctly. People say it's hard to hear me, it never stays charged and it just feels like cheap plastic. I thought I was going a step up in quality but that wasn't the case at all. I will be replacing it very soon.

I previously used Jawbones. This gets far better results. I don't get any complaints about sound quality anymore. It's a huge improvement over Jawbone.
