I tried every method of trying to make the component cables work functionally but it all failed:
*Restarted Wii
*Restarted HDTV
*Plug wires in and restart then plug back in
*Try different slots of component holes
When I do plug in the cable to my HDTV, there is an image but everything is yellow/brownish and made some annoying static sound so essentially it's a dud on my TV. I've seen others give it high scores and I've come to the conclusion that it really depends on the HDTV you have. I personally have a Sony Bravia HDTV in which I've also used a PS2 component cable for as well but that works perfectly. I guess I have to just be more aware of the wires that I buy for these old gaming consoles.

Much cheaper than some others and I have had it one year with no complaints at all. If it is a lower quality, I can't tell the difference on the HD TV. Nice to have the Wii compatible with HD. Looking at photos through the Wii and this cable was surprisingly detailed.

For me it doesn't make the image look any better than how the normal cables would. I have a LCD TV and was hoping for a major improvement over the jaggies I got with the normal cables. The only thing I think changed was the colors, by a barely noticeable amount.

I used it to play my gamecube games on my wii. I have a Samsung tv, and I have to admit that this cable improve the video and sound quality. I highly recommend it!

Provides a clear upqgrade over regular AV cables and is the closest thing to HD your Wii will achieve.

Simple to set up on a Wii U and with no trouble. Picture is perfect all the time, and responsive. The chord is not super long, but enough to reach if your console is close to the TV. Probably a 3 or 4 foot cable.

The DVD part does not work. I would like to return it or exchange it for a different one. My daughter can't play any of her DVD games. Please let me know how to return it and get my $ back thanks.

Synced with my system initially, but after that it's been sketchy. Have had two of these for a year and we have to resync them every time, and sometimes they won't work at all. Major battery eaters as well.

Wish I would have found this prior to buying converter boxes and whatnot to hook up my wii to my newer HDTV. this worked perfectly and shipped quickly.

I bought two of these to use with our Wii. I tried repeatedly to sync them with zero success. I guess you get what you pay for.

You get what you pay for. It works well enough to play wii games but it randomly vibrates and causes characters to move. The Nintendo remote is worth the extra money.

It works. Not a whole lot to say. The cables a nice length such that it's not so small it can't reach yet not too long that there's a lot of unused cable.

We're sending it back. The remote would not sync. Trying to sync it also un-synced the other remotes. Fortunately, we were able to get those to work again.

I normally like to buy original accessories, but found the original cable too expensive (over $100) and decided to try this one. Totally NOT disappointed. works really good, did not have any issues plugin it in the Wii or the TV and it helped the image quality and colors (for example, in Mario Kart Wii it was difficult to see the desert screens and I had to adjust the TV just for those tracks, using this cable, the issue is gone).

I did my research on 8 or 32 GB system first which from there site it states you will have 3GB of internal space. Which is not alot but for a couple of kids that do they need that much. Yes, they need way more. The reason for this is I found out the hard way. I thought everything was fine with it at first, but once I tried to use it, it would drop the sync. My family was super excited to have a new remote but this was just a disappointment

Was supposed to come with sports resort, did not. This was my son's big gift on Christmas Day and now he can't play the game. We have to wait and go out to buy the game. What a shame.

I instantly hooked up my Wii as soon as it arrived in the mail, and what a difference it has made. I bought a 55inch HDTV over the summer, and when I hooked my Wii up to it, the image looked like garbage. The difference with this cable is subtle, but definitely noticeable. Obviously, it doesn't make the image 720p or 1080p quality, but it does look crisp on the large screen, and it definitely did not before. A must get for anyone with a Wii and an HDTV over 32inches, as the Wii image did not appear distorted on my smaller HDTV

Works great with the Wii and our smart TV. Wasn't sure if this was the cable we needed at first, but it is and hasn't done us wrong yet.
