Had some internet connectivity issues early on. Netflix has been a disaster from the start. I like being able to purchase the classics on the Wii store. I did not have great expectations because the price was so low compared to other Wiis. Overall, not a bad deal. Hopefully I can resolve the internet related issues soon. =(

LEGO Batman 2's original story is vastly improved over LEGO Batman and naturally incorporates Gotham as both a massive sandbox playground for our heroes to explore and earn rewards/ complete collectathons as well as add the usual warm LEGO humor which largely revolves around Batman's disappointment with Robin and frustration/ possible envy of Superman. While on most levels you are playing as the dynamic duo when you are first able to play as Superman you just feel sorry for the Bats and the Boy Wonder; Superman is just too cool! But the game doesn't let you play him frequently throughout story mode and by the time you have completed story mode and gone back to free play you will have needed to unlock a variety of heroes who (smartly) aren't available/ unlocked until the end of the game. You get a large rogue's gallery to beat up and buy as well, including villains typically associated as other heroes' antagonists (such as Sinestro opposite Green Lantern).
The game is big (bigger by far than Hogwarts) and will take a long time to complete so it is well worth the $$ that you'll put down. There are the typical glitches that we find in all of the LEGO games, including system freezes, but I didn't come across these as much as I did in the Harry Potter games.
Recommended for both the LEGO and Batman and DC heroes fans. Almost more fun than you can throw a batarang at.

This needs to be advertised as a console only purchase. I was under the impression it had the cords and wiimotes. Luckily the cords and sensor bar are extremely inexpensive. Its just irritating not getting what you want.

This is for the basic 8GB model not the 32 GB one.So Nintendo's Wii U. I skipped buying the Wii when it came out cause I wasn't into the motion controller idea. I played other peoples systems and liked it well enough just not enough to fork over my money. I was never a fan on Nintendo's poor 3rd party support. And I knew the specs were basically a slightly souped up gamecube.So when the big N advertised that they were going to try to shift away from being a company that depends mainly on first party games to survive to be more competitive I was interested. The big game pad controller is like some sort of amalgamation of an tablet PC and a gameboy. (Maybe a supersized DS.)I got my hands on one of them and hooked it up. Setting the system up is no more difficult than any of the other ones out there these days, If you can set up a Wii, and Xbox, or a PS3 you can handle this.The update. Yes it is about an hour long and if you mess it up you can potentially ruin your system. (do NOT power it down while updating it.) But again it is nothing new. My PS3 had to do a half hour update when I opened it up as did my X box.The system is small. about 12"x6"x3". It has no HD, just 8gb of flash memory. Which is clearly sufficient for saves. Where this can be a problem I foresee is downloaded games. 8GB will run out fast. Thankfully it is easy to expand. It has a SD card slot, that can accept the High cap SD cards. 4 USB ports for add ons. (and an external HD is one option) The discs are same size as DVD's and Blue ray. And they seem to have a very high capacity for data on them. (1 disc contains Mass effect 3, the extended cut endings and most of the DLC for the multiplayer,from the ashes DLC, on top of the interactive comic.) To compare that to the Xbox, the game was a 2 disc set with none of that on disc. The PS3 was one disc with none of it again.Now for my big gripe.I do not know what happened here, but I will explain the problem.I took my system over to a friends house to try it out with them on the new SMB Wii u game. Once I set it up the system stopped working. I could get to the main menu and select the game to start, but then it would stay trying to load the software, and not move on. We waited ten minutes. I was afraid I had broken my machine, but once I got home it worked fine as if nothing had happened. So the system was not broken, but it seems taking it over to another place and having a game party may not be an option.

I like it but it seems loose in the TV its useful for TV's that don't have RCA ports and are now Strictly Component/HDMI.

I loooove this!!! My new TV didn't have the normal Red/Yellow/White cables, so I was looking for alternatives. Tried this one first, and got lucky I guess. To see the screen boot up Metroid in such high quality on my television... Almost brought a tear to my eye.

For those who are not aware the standard nintendo wii resolution is standard definition which is 480i. The wii is not high definition. This cable only allows you to switch it to 480p. The difference 480i and 480p is that 480p is slightly sharper. This is barely noticeable, so keep in mind this cable will not upscale your wii to full High Definition. It just displays you standard def picture better. If you are one of those people who has to have it in 480p I would recommend buying this product on amazon not in store like at Target or Wal Mart. In store this cost between 30-45$.

This was purchased as a gift for my little sister and she enjoys it.
I've played on it a few times and while I'm not sure if I'll get used to the controller system ever, it does have a nice look and navigation set up in general. Also, some of the games are really great.
Personally, I'm just more of an Xbox person.

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter and I play with her.
Thing is that it is not easy to restart from the point I saved.
To play certain episode we didn't complete, we need to get out of bat cave and found the location.
You can reply other completed location from bat cave but not completed episode.

These are great cables. I had an issue with my New HD TV not being able to reduce to 480i which is needed for AV cables. I bought these compnent cables to allow the Wii to display in 720p, and it did the trick. Wii's color came back, piucture looks clean and crisp. Cables are stout and look and feel of great quality. I can honestly say I was really impressed with how fast it shipped. Expected delivery date was May 8th. I recived the item on May 3rd. Overall if you are looking to move you Wii off of AV cables and to Component cables, can't beat the price and quality of these cables.

I got the Wii but no cables to plug it into th e Tv no cables for the Power and no sensor bar. Also no controller. How am I suposed to play it without power or a controller?

The component cables arrived a week early and in good packaging. It fit perfectly into the back of my Wii. Great wire housing as well. It's a perfect addition to my new HDTV and home theater.

The product itself works exactly as it should, but the quality of video resulting from it is really hard to tell. Though others speak of more vivid colors, I can't really notice too much of a difference (though there is a very slightly better picture). In all honesty though, the only different from this cable versus the stock one is interlaced versus progressive scan. For the price, this product is definitely worth it. Nintendo would have done well to offer a true HD option with the Wii though.

I bought this 5 years ago, and this dude still makes me have fun when I'm feeling down.
I've been always a Nintendo fan because I love Zelda (ever since the first NES version). There are other games that rock my world too, but Zelda beats everything for me.
About the Wii, it's one of the best things I ever bought. Just last year my power source stopped working right after the lights went off for the entire neighborhood (It wasn't plugged to a surge protector). Bought a new power source and problem solved. The controllers consume a great deal of batteries, but for that I have rechargeable batteries and chargers... So, as I said, i love it!

Bought from liquid buys.....before i say anything it came in the original packaging and it came with wii play and wii sports.....this wii is in perfect working order just a bit loud at times and maybe. A few times where it should load faster
