Don't waste your money on this product. The picture is green and at times has lines running through the screen.

Does as advertised, however I did notice the blues were much brighter than with the standard connector.

The Wii is my favorite system. I've had one for 7 years and only had to replace it once. I love playing it with my family.

Okay so I got this because when I bought our new HDTV and plugged in the Wii the quality was definitely not what I had expected. The picture quality was just fuzzy and (I tested it out on Mario Kart) on the "liscense's" you couldn't even tell it was a coin, it was just all jaggedy. Doing some research, I learned I needed one of these here cables. So I bought it and I'm pleased to say that the picture quality is much clearer and even brighter. But the coins are still jaggedy and now just look like gold squares, although now they're really clear gold squares.. if that makes any sense. I realize the Wii was not made HD compatible but I mean, if our old standard BOX TV could handle it, you would think a new HDTV could handle it. But oh well, now I'm getting into that. So this product does make things clearer I only wish the jags would go away. But that's something I can live with I suppose, everything else is fine. :)

The cord arrived in good condition and when I plugged it in there was an instant improvement... I was busy patting myself on the back until about a half an hour later when I noticed the usually vibrant red logo of Netflix was green. I unplugged it and plugged it in again and it was back to great quality. Yet the problem was reoccurring. It even ventured into going blue and violet as well as the green. Unfortunately I was not just upgrading my wii cable, I was replacing my original one that was damaged. I luckily did not get any smoking or crackling or anything while using it, but it seems by the mix reviews there could be some faulty ones going out. I will not try to return, I luckily found another replacement (not high def) at a thrift store for a buck and it works just fine.

I bought 2 of these hoping to get 2 cheaper wii remotes incase extra people wanted to play and shortly after we got them set up, one of them stopped working completely and now the second one barely works. Worst purchase ever!

I've been looking forward to the Wii U for awhile now. There's nothing quite like the feel of a new system. I unboxed my Wii U and had no problems hooking it up. Definitely glad I bought the Deluxe Set almost immediately because it comes with a cradle for the gamepad. Unfortunately there is a estimated 5gb update as soon as you connect to the internet. This will take awhile but you want to get it done. It adds many features. This is my first complaint. Big first day update that took me an hour. You can't do anything while it does this. Afterward though I spent a good deal of time just playing around in the menus and testing out the features. The Wii U has some wonderful potentials and it is quiet fun using the gamepad to navigate. My second complaint is the load time for menus. Occasionally this takes 30 seconds or more. Not really that long, but it can feel like forever. After I got done with the menus I figured it was time to try out an external hard drive. It would not work with my usb powered external hard drive, but it did work wonderfully with a 2tb dedicated power source external hard drive. Then it was time to go the the eshop and download some games. I purchases a few games from the eshop and it took a good while to download them. They were saved straight to the external hard drive which was nice. While waiting I tried out the Wii Mode, which allows the Wii U to pretend it is a Wii. No Joke. The Wii U restarts and when it loads up it is exactly the same as a Wii. This is quite a nice feature as I still have many Wii games I look forward to playing some more. At the end of the day I feel I have spent my money well. Many people have complained about the launch line-up but I think Nintendo did their homework well. There is at least one game forever one. Each game targets a different genre for the most part. If you're like me and like many different genres then you're going to have a lot to play.To sum it all up the Wii U is like an upgrade for the Wii. It does everything the Wii does and much more. So if you enjoyed a Wii over the last few years, you'll enjoy a Wii you just as much if not more. Though there are still a few quirks to complain about, the overall experience is rewarding.

just a great console overall, it's awesome for multiplayer games especially and even if you're not into that they've got a few single player classics like zelda and super mario galaxy to keep you entertained.

I got a wii like 4 years ago there was period of time where me and my sisters lost interest of the thing but recently we began to play again and it still works great and I love it.

1) Game quality. Nintendo makes some great Wii software, but no other company that I know of does. Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 are two of the best video games ever made (not just my opinion look at the all time top ten lists yourself); Donkey Kong Country Returns is a great platformer; Wii Fit is used by my wife every day; and we like the sports games.Unfortunately, the other companies that produce software see the Wii as a system that is for kids, and kids do not have money and they do not make purchasing decisions. So the games they release for the Wii are designed to have a low sticker price and rock bottom development costs. So be very careful what games you buy.2)The wii is 99% game console. You can stream Netflix with it though, and they have a decent weather/news channel, but mostly it is just for games. The PS3 streams, plays cds, dvds, and it is a bluray player. The xbox has no bluray, but can stream from your computer. If you need something to play blurays and stream media from your PC, and see gaming as bonus feature, the PS3 is the most economical way to go. The wii used to be able to play dvds, but pirates discovered a way to play pirated games on burnt dvds, so Nintendo had to remove that feature.4) Graphics. Everybody knows that the Wii is SD and the other two are HD. But really, its not that big a deal. The other two do not present their games in full 1080; rather because of hardware limitations, most games for those systems are 780. You can have just a good of a time playing in SD as HD, of course ymmv.5) Motion controls. They are just gimmicks, imo. For 'real' games, they are a nuisance and often times negatively affect game play. For example, in the galaxy games you have to waggle the controller to make Mario spin. Every once in a while he will spin for no reason if you slightly adjust your hand position, and other times when you want him to spin, the controller wont register. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen enough to make me wish I could turn motion control off. I can't say much about the move, but I know the kinect also has drawbacks: lack of precision, lag, and the fact you need 12 feet of free space if you are going to play with two peopleThe one exception the above is the Just Dance games. My wife and I have a lot of fun dancing together.The biggest drawback though, is that they can lead to physical problems. No joke. There are a bunch of potential injuries from the Wii; most of them are related to the upper extremities: shoulder, elbow and wrist. So if you are over 25, you may hurt yourself if you aren't aware.You're doing an activity in a way that you could not do in real life. For example, when you play the tennis game, you can hit hundreds/thousands of virtual tennis balls. But when you play real tennis outside, you have to run and chase balls and you can only do that for so long before you get tired. So with game 'sports', you are able to do a lot more of a repetitive activity quicker and for a longer time. Which can add up to an overuse type of injury.I discovered this playing Tiger Woods PGA 11. With real golf, 18 holes takes all day. With Tiger, you can do it in 45 minutes. My shoulder became sore from swinging the remote as you really have to swing hard to get distance. Before long I was selling the game. As a side note, I paid 59 and got 14 for it, so I'm guessing I'm not the only one.5) Price. It is the cheapest system, which is nice. But be warned: things do add up. Here is approx what we spent when we bought it: $209 (game system) + $55 (2nd controller and you will want 2 controllers) + $25 (2nd nun chuck)= $280.But the other systems are even pricier, for example to get an xbox system up and running: $399 (125 gig version), $150 Kinect, $40 second controler, $80 for Xbox live subscription = $670 and that is with no extra games.Other notes: Microsoft and Sony have both lost money on the current generation of consoles. Sony because they wanted to push bluray while hddvds were still a threat, and microsoft because they wanted to buy their way into the game console business and they have a big wallet. Nintendo couldn't do that because they make their living off of consoles and games, where as for MS and Sony it's just a small part of their organizations.So Nintendo built and designed a system with a very focused goal. They did a good job at picking hardware and designing a gaming system that squeezes every gram of power out of the components. The company president said when they were making it they wanted a small, quiet video game machine that most people could afford, and that's what they made.Conclusion: My wife uses the wii fit daily and enjoys the exercise programs such as ea sports (i think thats what it is called). Bought this to replace my old cables/get a better picture on my 50in HDTV. Have been using for a few months without any issues. The picture is definitely clearer, not sure it's anything to rant and rave about but considering Wii doesn't support HD, I wasn't expecting any major changes.... I am pleased with the results which are brighter colors and a slightly crisper picture.

I searched around, read all sorts of reviews on the different cables available and ultimately, decided to go with the cheap ones. I usually like to buy brand name accessories and whatnot, but can't say that I'm too unhappy with my decision here! For the price, it's definitely worth it! Don't waste the extra $$, these are cheap and work great!

It gets better signal then the store bought adapters for netFlix etc. I returned store item.. did not work at all.. as we love the NetFlix service. It was used. it did not come with instructions on setting up the and held or buying online.. but I looked up conversations online and figured it all out. It would have been nice to get step by step instructions on setting up. but no problems since.. we love it.

We've only been playing a couple weeks and we have been able to complete a few levels, but only after we learn where the characters will get trapped so we can avoid the pitfalls. Gotham City is a nightmare - perhaps, as another reviewer suggested, it will make more sense if we can get thru more levels (see above caveat). We get stuck in this hints loop - can't even go to the wii home menu - have to hard shut down the wii. The map is hard to use - you go to a place/person, and they are not there?! Some levels we do all we can…utter destruction of everything…and then can not figure out what to do next. There are no hints or anything when you can't figure a level out.
We LOVE lego star wars complete saga…Batman 2 is confusing, horridly glitchy and pretty boring. So disappointed.

Sometimes the wii screen freezes randomly and u have to wait for it to refresh or disconnect and reconnect from the back for it to work again.

I gave this to my grandson for Christmas. He played with this passed winter, but now that summer activities are on, he has other interests. They were a good buy at the time and he'll play again.

This game is too fun. Bought it during an Amazon Cyber Monday sale for my fiance and I to play. We're 25 and 26. Really really fun.

The only reason I got a Wii U is so that I could play the latest Super Mario Bros. I'm a huge Nintendo fan, and an even bigger Super Mario Bros fan. I've played it on every console. I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed when I played the new Mario. First, it took me just a few hours to pass, the last Mario on the Wii took over a month to pass. With the exception of the Squirrel and Yoshis, this game was a 100% copy of Super Mario Bros on the original Wii (in terms of level look and feel, enemies, even final boss scene).The Wii U also had some problems itself. When I opened it up for xmas, it booted up, and after creating a profile I inserted the Super Mario Wii U disk to play it. Well, it said "disk error" or something similar, suggesting that the disk is bad. So I inserted the disk that came with it, the Nintendo Land game. Same problem, "disk error". I freaked out and started researching the problem online. Apparently, a bunch of people had a similar problem and had to ship their unit to Nintendo for repairs and wait 2-3 weeks to get it back. After some extensive research, I found that someone fixed the problem by removing the game, turning off the system, unplugging it from power, waiting 2 minutes, then plugging the system in, waiting 1 minute, and starting up the game. It worked, and I didn't have to send my console in for repairs, but I could imagine how a bunch of other people who didn't stumble on this forum post would.The games are fun, but not very original. For a $400 system and $50 games, I was expecting some creativity, especially from Nintendo but instead I feel like I'm playing on the original Wii U. The big gamepad thing is oversized and the battery dies fast. I always use my old wii controllers.There does not appear to be a way to turn off the gamepad (ex: when playing with regular controllers), and it constantly makes annoying noises when you play. If you try to turn it off using the power button, it turns off your Wii U, so the only way I figured out to turn it off is to drain the battery all the way.

I got this for my 4 and 6 yr old to play. They are probably on the young side but most of the time we can figure out what needs to be done. They cannot play this by themselves as they get stuck too often. A couple times even I could not figure out what we were missing to get into the next room, advance to the next level. Luckily I found a website where the guy plays through the game so we can get unstuck ([...]

If you are a big gamer you may have an easier time with this but for us at times it gets difficult to figure it out. If your kids are in this age range just be prepared to play it with them and at times have to calm down really frustrated kids when they cannot perform the actions as required. In all the kids like playing it and they have a fun time with it.

This game is VERY fun!

Pros:
You can go anywhere you want in Gotham City!
Puzzles are pretty challenging!
Fighting is AWESOME!
vehicles are epic!

Cons:
The animation is ok. Looks more computer animated than your usual Lego graphics.
Can be confusing at times to find the level you are on. To find what level you are on, do NOT look in the batcave! On the bat computer in the batcave you can replay levels. To find where your level, go into Gotham City and look for a white beam going straight into the air. Or you can look at your bar on the top right, and look for Batman's logo. Head towards it. When you find the place go to it and it should show an arrow of where to go.

Overall this is a VERY EPIC and AWESOME game! I hope this helps!

Whenever our grandson comes over, he takes out the Wii and plays this until I tell him he needs to go outside and play. He loves this. He used to play the 1st LEGO Batman Wii a lot, but he likes this one even more.

I bought this Wii second hand because I couldn't afford a brand new one, but I wanted one so bad. It came out of the box, and it is looked brand new. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, and it works great!!!

My kids absolutely love this game....great costumer service..game plays well..features are excellent...highly recommended to all my friends..will shop here again.

I barely noticed any changes between this and the regular cables that came with the Wii on my HDTV, I tweaked with the settings on everything and I would say that the results were still unsatisfying. I guess I'll have to spend even more money just to get my Gamecube games to look decent on my television, I finally understand why HD remasters have become such a big thing.

Sorry but after 3years of frustration I have to leave this review. I have never had a product that was as incapable of understanding the network it was connecting to as this one. This unit cannot connect to a router for the life of it. And when I go to the wii settings page for help, the instructions are so complex you need to be a network engineer to understand them. Abandon this piece of junk and buy something that has some intelligence. That's what I did. This thing ended up in the garbage and I got a different product. Goodbye Nintendo.
