I ordered 2 of these remotes and nunchuks and only 1 works all the time. I have work to get the other one to work and sometimes it just does not. I am happy with the one and sort of expected the dud with the price and off-manufacturing.

My favorite is still Mario Kart 64, but this one may be in second place.I feel like they focused too much on making the game new and exciting rather than balanced and fun but they still did pretty good at throwing everything together. It has tons of tracks, vehicles, characters, and is probably the most re-playable version of the series because there is so much stuff to unlock. I unlocked everything in the game using a stock character and vehicle so the unlocked stuff isn't overpowering like in past games. The unlock-able characters and carts seem well placed and often help you with your playing style. For example you unlock the fast characters while trying to do time trials or you get the agile carts from gold on the harder tracks.This game adds bikes, which I think adds nice diversity and feels very well balanced. The karts tend to be faster with better mini boosts from jumps and corners. The bikes can pop wheelies to get a mini boost on the straight stretches but are more vulnerable to being thrown off balance. My wife likes playing with karts and I like bikes, and I think she usually wins.Another feature to boost re-playability is the manual drift. All Mario Kart games had a power-slide around corners. In this one they give the choice of this drift being automatic or not. If you set it to automatic you don't get mini-boosts around corners. If you set it to manual you have to time when the slide starts but it is much more difficult than past games. It gives experienced players something extra to work on but doesn't seem unfair when somebody can drift manually well.I always use the nun-chuck. I can't stand using the wheel. I haven't seen a game that gets the remote tilt steering right yet. Maybe I'm just used to buttons after growing up with them.The one thing I hate about this game: the AI cheats with both hands.When you get into the harder levels in the Grand Prix it will be completely normal to be hit with two or three things in a row. For example say you're a few seconds ahead, they will hit you with a pow, red shell, and a lightning bolt in a row to keep you stopped for several seconds. The suspicious part is how did the AI time firing the red shell so it would catch up just after you got hit with the pow?The AI will also hit you at the worst times. Right after you go over jumps, or boosts, or right after you get a power-up, or right before you go around a corner with no railing, or just as you get to the bottom of a hill. Now some might call it coincidence but I just played for two hours and counted to make sure. Every time I was in 1st and hit with something it was at one of those five times.The other thing that is suspicious is if the AI slows you down enough they have saved power-ups for you so the horde will hit you three or four times to ensure you get clear back to 8th place or so.Personally, I'm sick of cheating AIs and feel there is no reason game makers should be short-cutting on such a critical part of their game, but it's become standard among games anymore.So bottom line, like I said above, if you've liked the Mario Kart series, get this one!

I bought 2 of these so everyone in my family could play 4 person multi-player. We were playing MarioKart but the 2 generix remotes kept turning our karts when we were trying to go straight. Very frustrating to have it not perform correctly. I guess you get what you pay for; try to save a few bucks but end up spending more when you have to end up buying the more expensive ones from Nintendo anyway. They also took forever to sync with the console (about 10 minutes of trying).

We love our new/ used wii. We just found out from a friends kid we can play u tube on it. Great movies and things.

This set works on modern TV's but may give you trouble on older sets. The price is good, less expensive than your local stores But I would suggest getting a newer flat screen TV for today's Nintendo products which will make the difference; not the cables.

I specifically ordered a Wii Nunchuk from them because the description included a strap and the clear rubber protector. You'll notice they've now emoved those items from the description but not from the picture. I contacted Amazon just to have the co. send me those two parts. No go. Advised to return the whole thing. Sent a note directly to Generic. No response. CalledGeneric. Phone # disconnected.

I have two girls which are 7 and 5 years old. This is the second Wii we've owned, the first being the Red model with Super Mario Brothers Wii and the red controller.
The unit came in the standard sealed retail box with a Wii Remote™ Plus controller ("Motion Plus Included"), nunchuck, and Wii Sports Resort edition.
One thing I did not expect: No Gamecube controller attachments in the top. So our Gamecube library sits dormant for now until we can find an alternative.

Well, the product is well designed and cheap, feels like an official product.
But you can not tell the difference, maybe in some games, such as Mario Kart, the colors are a tad bit more fleshed out, or areas a bit brighter in the Force Unleashed, or textures are just a tad sharper in Conduit 2. But really, the difference is so impecibly slim that just the five dollars alone and the grueling set-up (if you have a TV on a rack like me) is not worth it. But if your looking for a decent change and just like having the mindset that your Wii has the best graphics, go ahead, buy it.

This cable didn't make any difference in sound or picture, and it stopped working properly after only a month - the whole screen had a green overlay. I wouldn't pay even $0.25 for another one, much less $2.12.

This console is excellent thing for activity. We are two mature adults who love exercise outside - hiking, walking, playing tennis, swimming but when we are at home Wii is another source of good mood. BTW we have Wii balance board which we use a lot. My only desire that Wii remained in working condition for a long time.

These cables look nice and fit well. The main problem, however, is the multitude of lines and squiggle all over the screen. I even changed all the settings back and forth AND rebooted the wii a couple of times. I'm sending these back and sticking with the original A/V cables.

I wound up sending them back. Company quickly refunded my money and I am happy with the response I got from them. Just wish the controllers had worked. They do look and feel like the originals. I gave them three stars because, even though the controllers didn't work, customer service was first rate.

Been using these cables for 4 months and nothing wrong yet. The video quality is really noticeable but you still won't be getting 1080p out of the console. For a cheap price, I would highly recommend.

I have been trying to help my son play through this game for months now. Every time we start, we lose all our progress and start over from the beginning again (even after saving the progress). I have asked on multiple forums how to resume a saved game and even contacted the game manufacturer and they could not help. It go to the point that I had to give the game away since it gave my son so much frustration. If you want to have character building moments, then this is the game for you. If you want to enjoy playing a game without figuring out cryptic ways to do simple tasks, then I'd look elsewhere.

This helped to avoid the delay problem between Wii and HDTV, but the image would still jiggle from time to time during the play -- fairly annoying.

Just purchased this bundle at Fry's during their 1 day only sale for $99; you can't get a better deal for the price. I played a few games and they were fun. I have been using this mainly for netflix and it has been doing a great job. There are also other apps that you can download as well. This unit has built in wifi so that is awesome.
There are two drawbacks that I was not aware of until I purchased this bundle. Firstly, the Wii cannot play standard DVD's. The second drawback is that the unit does not have an HDMI port on it, so you must use the standard A/V cable that it comes with. This may have been a deal breaker if I would have known that before I bought it, but I'm not going to bother returning it.
So the question is this; would I pay $99 for this bundle, absolutely. Would I pay the original price of $129.99 for this bundle, probably not.

Well, maybe I expected something a little more challenging. Now, by no means am I an athlete, but the games aren't long enough. They are only 5, or 10 minutes long. I think if they were longer or more challenging I could see results faster, and have more fun. Maybe this was for a younger person, for more of a video game type user.

Way super fun. Story mode is very entertaining. Spend hours in Gotham City on a huge scavenger hunt. Best LEGO game for original Wii.

This worked great with my original wii system but did not work on my wii mini. After some research I discovered that wii mini does not support this cable and in fact only works with the RCA style provided with the unit, so keep that in mind if you're buying it for a wii mini.

I liked the little note that said Happy Holidays but the Wii was in unacceptable condition. The front of the Wii fell off completely and is hanging on by the cords. The top of the Wii is missing (the cover for where you plug the controllers in). I am returning this product as soon as possible because this is not what I payed for. The description of this product said that it had no signs of wear, which is a HUGE lie. I never return products because I don't feel right returning stuff but this is just in horrible condition....WOW.

To our surprise we were able to purchase the Wii U off the shelf at a local Retail Store. They had two basic ones left. I was apprehensive to get the basic but wanted to make sure we had one before Christmas. Also after giving it some extensive thought and a lot of research I am happy with the purchase over the deluxe. I like the white better and will eventually get an external hard drive for it. Honestly 32gb is not that much more memory and we do not download much from online stores anyways. Nintendoland we will try to pick up for cheap as the price falls and people turn them in if ever. But as far as the system itself goes. It has been great! My oldest son loves that he can watch Netflix or play the new Mario on the gamepad while other members of the family watch tv. My favorite part about the Wii U is that the whole family can get together on the couch and play together. We are always looking for ways to get family together and have grown tired of the very individual based games consoles and games that are the norm now. It brings back memory's as a child when I would be at a friends house or vice versa and we would play for hours. All in all it has been a lot of fun and we will be interested to see the direction the Wii u takes especially as more updates come. By the way the first update is tremendously long. If you are waiting to give it as a gift I would highly recommend doing the giftee a favor and updating it for them. Yes it does take that long that I am recommending opening it for them to update it and then repackage it. That is why I dropped the star off other than that it has already been a lot of fun and we are excited to see what Nintendo Wii U games will be coming. Mario Kart U I hope is coming soon. Anyone hear of any talks about development for it yet? Anyways if you have the opportunity definitely get one. Whether it is the deluxe or not.
