A perfect lesson on "you get what you pay for". Bought as a birthday gift, but after inspecting the product on arrival, I was too embarrassed to give them. Unless you are on a budget, I'd recommend getting the real thing, you'll be happier in the end.

The nintendo Wii is cheap and it sets up really easy. It won't break down and will deliver fun for the whole family and you and your friends. If you prefer fun games rather than perfect resolution games, this is the one to buy.

Nintendo has got to be one of the most primitive and immature companies I know. Ill be brief. The Wii U could have been a great system had Nintendo taken notes from Sony and Microsoft.Yes, they added Hdmi...but thats basically ALL the wii u has to offer. Most of the games are PORTS...and very few games make real use of the over sized tablet.Why would I buy the same games twice nintendo?Many of us already own PS3s or Xbox 360.Let me get to the part that is really ridiculous. PS3 and Xbox have simple ways of transferring your profile to a new console with EASE, in the event your previous system crashes, or maybe you just wanted to upgrade. Also, your game saves have a better chance of surviving with PS3 or XBOX. Both companies offer external and even ONLINE back up of your precious game saves....because the whole point of the systems are to play GAMES right? So preserving your saves is a must!SAY YOUR WII U DIES, OR MAYBE YOU HAVE AN 8 GIG VERSION AND NEED TO UPGRADE TO THE 32 GIG VERSION....YOU ARE SCREWED BECAUSE THE GAME SAVES, AS WELL AS YOUR PROFILE ARE LOCKED TO THE OLD WII U.Just imagine you have spent 100 hours on a game, building a character and what not....only to loose all of your effort because THE IMMATURE DINOSAURS AT NINTENDO REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE WHAT IS TRULY IMPORTANT WHEN IT COMES TO GAMING.AVOID THE WII U. HATE I PURCHASED ONE. ILL PROBABLY BE TRADING IT IN FOR GAMES ON MY PS3 AND XBOX.AND OH, YES, I RECENTLY HAD TO CHANGE WII Us, THINKING I WAS DOING GOOD BY UPGRADING FROM THE 8 GIG TO THE 32 GIG,.....I SAVED MY GAMES TO A USB, AND I WAS READY TO ROCK AND ROLL WITH MY NEW HARDDRIVE SPACE......TO ONLY BE SMACKED IN THE FACE WITH NINTENDO LACK OF INSPIRATION.

my Wii wouldn't connect to the tv with just the 3 ports (red, white and yellow) in the input I needed it to go in. this did the trick for my flat screen tv-not brand new but it had the multi color ports and the Wii was fuzz and in black and white. my tv is close to the Wii- (same tv stand)- the cable was long enough and I had no trouble making the right connections. worth it for me, rather than spending a lot more on the Nintendo brand.

I was so happy to find that these cables were made for the wii as I had no additional room for AV cables on my HDTV. I quickly tired of constantly unplugging my cable box to play wii. This product solved all of my problems AND provided a nice upgrade in picture quality. The cables themselves are very sturdy and are easy to hook up. I can now play Wii by simply changing the input on my TV - no plugging/unplugging required! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

After connecting this to my older generation Wii, after playing for an hour or so started to detect black distortion in the screen and the picture would even completely go black and have to be reaquired. At first I thought my wii was overheating so shut it down to make sure. But after restarting, the same issue was occurring. I changed the video cable back to the original RCA and the symptoms stopped. I am not sure if this is the result of the connections, the wires or the Wii itself but the combination of these cables and my system resulted in being unable to use the system. They are somewhat inexpensive so perhaps I got what I paid for

It lights up, then starts rumbling and never stops, until you take the batteries out. It will not work at all and I threw away the packaging so I'm not even sure I can return it. What a waste of money. Also, it is NOT an official Nintendo remote, as the picture and description might have you believe. Ridiculous.

I just recieved our new Wii today, and everything looked great; until I went to plug in the Gamecube controllers. Apparently, the new versions of the Wii no longer are compatible with the Gamecube games, which is a big problem for us considering about half of my sons' games are Gamecube games. It looks like I'm going to have to order an old-school Gamecube or another used Original Wii to make our game collection still work.
Other than that, this Wii is pretty cool. My son likes that this one is black, but he wishes it would stand up vertically the way the old one did. Everything else seems to be the same.
One other note, I don't know what on earth Nintendo means by "Wii MotionPlus". If anything, the Wii-mote seems to be less responsive than before.
I would recommend this if you are only planning on playing Wii games, and you'd rather have a New item versus used.

Bought this for the holidays, the kids absolutely love the Wii! Great starter pack, plenty of games to keep them busy for a little while before they start wanting more games.

It's a hit in my house. My son loves loves loves it. It's Batman and Robin after all.

I like the fact that it is Internet accessible. I've had so much fun downloading games. There are so many to pick from and they vary from those that interest my husband and I to those appropriate for my little granddaughter! Since we can't get outside for exercise because of the cold and snow, we're able to get our exercise inside and have fun doing it. Wonderful!

everything works fine this black wii is gamecube compatible witch i need, it came with deep scratches but i can always get a replacement case.
i thought i should let buyers know this black wii came with d3-2 drive but its not a issue with me.

The picture quality is so much better once we used this cable and switched the Wii to widescreen mode. Absolutely worth every penny.
Hooking this up was a snap, and the color-coded bands make it easy to know which plugs go where. Bear in mind, the two audio connectors are the ones with the color in the middle, and the grey on the ends.

First, this is not a Nintendo brand controller but it works with the Wii. I have used the remote a few times and it works well with the Wii. Not sure how long it will last but I can update later if needed. I would definitely purchase another one.
