This is our second black unit. We also have blue, pink and the luigi editions. I only buy Nintendo accessories and I don't trust the 3rd party units.

We have not tried to hook it up yet but we got a generic black controller instead of the white WII controller shown in the picture. Not what I wanted.

Controller does not work. Tried multiple sets of batteries in it and the lights would dimly flash then go off. I do not recommend buying from this seller.

Our child loves this game. He has beaten all of the levels, but still enjoys to play it from the beginning. The game has a lot of challenges that are fun to beat. However, it doesn't come without a few issues. There are several glitches that we have experienced with the game. One glitch makes it impossible to obtain all of the gold bricks needed to 'buy' the last character. I tried to find information about this glitch and discovered some others have had the same problem, but not everyone. There has been no software patch for this problem. This game also has a tendency to freeze during play, especially during character or level changes. After playing this on the Wii, I would have preferred to purchase it on another platform because aiming with the Wii controllers can be trying at times when precision is required. Overall, our son still loves to play this game despite the issues it has.

Not a good quality. Remote works ok. Nunchuck creeps out every few seconds and needs to reconnected. Very frostrating and really cant use to play...

Works great. No issues. With this kind of thing, it's always great right up until it's a POS... Ya know? Not much in the way of middle-ground. This is an OEM Nintendo controller, so I'd be surprised if there had been issues (which is most of the reason I went with OEM... For less issues).

I bought this because I was having a problem with my Wii having a very dark picture when hooked up to my new TV. I wasn't sure if it would fix the problem, but it did and the picture is better than ever. Shipping was also very prompt, and I received the item within three days of ordering it.

i purchased this cable from a local game shop after reading the description on amazon. unfortunatly i didnt read the reviews first. the description states you can output up to 1080i. this is false.
as stated in previous reviews, the wii can only output to 480i/p. thats the only reason i didnt give this a 5 star review.
compared to the a/v cords, the picture does look much better. much clearer and crisper. i had to do some adjusting through my tv to get the 16:9 aspect, as the wii did not automatically adjust the aspect ratio.
for those who want the highest possible quality for the wii, these are your cables. they do make a hdmi converter, but unless you need an hdmi cable due to lack of component ports, its pointless to get that because youll still only get 480i/p image quality.

If you want to use on the wiiu you might want to purchase different controllers. They are outdated. We had to go purchase all new controllers to use with the motion plus. These do mot jave that technology. So disappointed

We got a new TV and our Wii suddenly wouldn't work on the new TV. I did some troubleshooting and decided to try swapping out the included cord for this cord. For under $10 our Wii now works with the new TV. WHEW! It was worth the gamble vs. getting a new system!!

I liked the Wii and as soon as my old Wii broke, I decided it was time to upgrade to the new Wii U.I had a tough time deciding between the basic set and the deluxe one. In the end, I went for the basic set because I already had a lot of controllers and stuff from my Wii, and I simply wanted to replace the broken Wii with the new one. After buying it, I thought that the price value of the deluxe set was more than worth it, but decided not to request a change (I'm sure that Amazon would have been very helpful if I requested the change, as has been in numerous occasions of other purchases I've done).The thing is, I'm happy with the product. I still have to buy a Wii U game to test it fully, but here are a few things I already like:1) Comes with Netflix pre-installed, and it works. On my old Wii, the Netflix app was constantly crashing, on the Wii U, it works like a charm.2) Almost all Wii U games that you can buy at a retail store are available as a download, which I find excellent as I don't have to go to the store anymore and hope they have the game I want. (Only problem with this is that I can't take my game to play on another Wii U as the download is locked to my Wii U; and also, the 8GB hard drive will not have enough space for my games, I will have to attach an external HD, but this isn't so bad after all).3) The new controller that allows me to keep watching Netflix (or playing games) even if someone wants to use the TV for something else I find extremely nice!! I can keep watching of playing!!!!The only reason I didn't give the system 5 stars is because I feel the system is slow for loading apps. I liked the old Wii that was fast for moving between apps. On the Wii U, every time you close an app, the Wii U has to load again, and some times it takes more than 10 seconds!!!! Also, the Wii emulation requires that the Wii U resets itself, as if it has to shut down the Wii U system and restart the computer with the Wii system (which I'm guessing is what actually happens). This means that to play a Wii game I have to start up the Wii U, wait until it loads, then wait until the Wii U menu loads, then wait for the Wii U to restart, and finally, wait for the original Wii system to load. All together, it takes quite a while, and since I have a lot of Wii games, this is what I'm doing most of the time.So, it would be nice if the system was faster at loading things, that's why I gave it 4 starts.

I loved the first Lego Batman, so I decided to try the sequel. I was not disappointed! There are lots of puzzles and brain-teasers throughout each level. This is pretty important to me because as I don't enjoy mindlessly wandering around levels without having to think about why I'm there. You're able to collect countless characters, each with their own abilities. I played this off and on for about a month and I'm still only 75% finished. There aren't many needless scenes that go on and on between levels (like in Lego Indiana Jones 2) so you can go from level to level quickly. The free-play part of the game is great, and I could spend hours wandering around Gotham, stumbling upon hidden characters and distressed citizens. The only down-side is that there are a few glitches in the game. Batman got "stuck" in certain areas and I had to turn the game off, losing my progress. I highly recommend Lego Batman 2, especially if you are a lover of the Lego franchise.

Just received my two controllers two days ago and they are awesome like I said I've never played Wii before and I love the interaction especially the dance games I LOVE THEM!!!!! They are my favorites!! Thank you!!

Works great. I was surprised when the Wii U allowed me to pick a higher resolution than 480p. I chose 1080i for the resolution and it worked with my TV - better than I was anticipating!

Had to buy one of these as my new flatscreen did not have enough HDMI ports for all of our devices. It worked perfectly the first time and has never gave us any issues.

I like the Wii. I like how it gives you entertainment along with a workout. If you want your kids or yourself to get some physical activity while playing video games, the Wii is a good fit for you. You can get your whole family involved with a game like Mario Cart or Will Bowling. When you purchase a Wii you get a free game. On that game is Will bowling, baseball, tennis, and boxing. You can get a lot of physical activity in just one game. The Wii is a fun gaming console at a cheap price. I would recommend it for everyone.
