Mine didn't work. I put in fresh batteries and the the lights were on, but it would not sync to my Wii. I re-synced all of my original Nintendo brand Wii remotes to ensure I was doing it right, this one never synced. I contacted the seller and they responded promptly, providing a full refund. Maybe I just got a bad one.

This was purchased for my children who live with their mother and not me. I later found out that the console was played by her new husband more than my kids, that he banned them from playing with it, and in three months it was pawned off for cash. The device worked as it should, or so I hear,. This was when I learned not to buy my children anything of value unless they are at my house.

My son got a Wii for Christmas. He is only 6, and this is the only game he has wanted to play since he received it. My husband also plays it with him, but it really seems to be a great game for younger children. They have since beat the game. collected all the superhero minifigures (which was so thrilling for my son) and he has created many of his own figures to compete in the game.

Being able to operate at 480p is an appreciable improvement for both Wii and GameCube games. The "p" refers to progressive scan display (you can look this up on Wikipedia if you are son inclined) and is just the way the frames are displayed on the television. Graphics are slightly sharper and you can turn off deflicker in Smash Bros. A side note, you must go into the Wii's display settings in the menu and select 480p HDTV mode for this to be of any use.

Cable arrived as advertized. There were no instructions with it, so it took some trial and error to get it to work correctly.
Now it works and the Wii that had not worked on my digital TV now does.
I am happy that I found this cable and ordered it.

Didn't work. Bought three of them, could only pair two of them. Third one would never pair no matter how much tried over many days. The two that did pair had terrible resolution compared to a proper Nintendo remote; they would cut in and out of showing the pointer on the TV while running on fresh batteries, where the Nintendo remote on old batteries had no issue.

Don't bother wasting your time buying them and sending them back.

This worked exactly as expected, and it finally comes in black! This Wii Remote works exactly like the old WiiMote from the original Wii, as far as I know. I got it for my partner and I to play Mario Kart 8 together since she was used to the WiiMote controls from Mario Kart Wii. It works just as you'd expect it to.

Wii is the best! It has so many games. It has hockey, baseball, tennis, bowling, golf, boxing, dancing and Nick Jr. And I wish I could play Wii all day. It's on TV. All you have to do is press SACD to see it. You press Video Sort and that's how you see SACD. The Wii is the best thing ever. My favorite Wii is called Hockey 2K9 and NBA Jam. Wii Hockey is the best. I like Hockey. Hockey is the best Wii ever. It's good. You should try them. I think that you would like them. You can play Pittsburg Penguins vs Detroit Red Wings. They're both in the NHL. Pittsburg Penguins are in the Eastern Conference and the Red Wings are in the Western Conference. I like the Red Wings better. The Pittsburg Penguins are very, very good. The Penguins have the two best players, Crosby and Malkin. I like the Red Wings because they are in the Western Conference and I'm a Rangers fan and the Rangers are in the Eastern Conference. Warning, warning, the Penguins are good. The bad news is I'd root for the Red Wings. You use the nunchuck to skate. A and B to pass. Time Out is the Home button. Mt friend likes the Wii too and my other friend likes the Wii too. Another one of my friends disagrees because he doesn't like 2K9. And one of other friends has never played the Wii before. Wii is the best. Wii Hockey is the best ever. I give Wii all 5 Stars. It is very, very good.

This remote only lasted about two weeks. First it started vibrating for no apparent reason and wouldn't stop until you removed the batteries, then the wire from the nunchuk to the remote came loose and then it stopped working altogether. Not a good product at all.

I've been a Nintendo fan for years. Generation after generation they put out amazing consoles with excellent games. So it comes as no suprise that the Wii continues the tradition started back in 1985.The Wii was codenamed the Revolution becasue it was supposed to revolutionize the way we play games. I'm not so convinced that it accomplished it's goal per se, but I do think that it did introduce some new ways to play. When I first heard about the system I didn't think it would be nearly as successful as it was. I thought odd name, last gen graphics, and strange (ablbiet interesting) controller, yeah, good luck with that Nintendo. I was convinced that it would turn out much like the GCN, reasonably successful but nowhere near it's competition.Well here we are 5 years later and we all know how it turned out. Much to everyones suprise, the Wii turned out to be a tremendous success. People were calling it the Gamecube 2 because it didn't have HD graphics. While the Wii may be similar to the Gamecube (GCN) in terms of archecture, in nearly every other aspect it is a completely different system. It was given marketed as family centered, rather than specifically to the gamer, where the GCN was fairly powerful for its day the Wii was quite underpowered, and the GCN had a focus on contectivity (GB link cable, GB player, Limited LAN support) the wii focused on motion controls.The motion controls are the heart and soul of the Wii. While the PS3 and Xbox 360 have their respective options for motion controled gaming, it is hard to argue that the Wii not only started this "revolution" but they also have the largest library of motion controled games. So it goes without saying that if you want motion controlled gaming, the wii is not only the best option, it also happens to be the most affordable.The purpose of this review is not to compare the Wii to it's competitors, it truly is a stand alone system, and is not fair to do so.In my opinion, the Wii will largely appeal to two large contrasting groups: non gamers and core gamers.On one hand you have the non gamers, they will immediatley be attracted to games like Wii sports, Wii fit, Kriby's Epic Yarn, Just Dance, Lego Star Wars, and things of that nature. These are games that anyone can pick up and play and have very broad appeal. The reason for the Wii's success is the non gamer, Nintendo captured an audience that no one knew even existed. Games like these are the reason that you will see the Wii in nursing homes and hospitals.On the other had you have the hardcore or core gamer. Games like Metroid Prime 3, Donkey Kong Courty Returns, No More Heros, Red Steel 2, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and Mad World are games that appeal to them. Many of these are hidden gems that only the core know or care about they are every bit as good as the better known Wii titles.Peronally I am somewhat of a rare breed in the fact that I enjoy both, but most gamers will fall under one catagory or another. I think the real diffrenece between the two is the casual gamer will purchase the Wii as a an only system, whereas the core gamer will buy it to go along with a straight hardcore system. But it's that broad appeal that makes the Wii as successful has it has been.Unfortunatley, the Wii's best years are behind it. 2010 may have been a great year for the system, but 2011, thus far has been very weak. With E3 coming around the corner gamers will see what will be the last major software to be released for the system, and of course it's successor with be there as well. But not all is bleak, Nintendo just recently dropped the price of the Wii to $149 and swapped out Wii sports and Wii sports resort for Mario Kart Wii. Furthermore they rolled out their Player's choice lineup albeit under a different name. As they say, good things come to those who wait. Now is a great time to buy because the better price, better software bundled, and there is a fairly large library of games avalable.The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars was because I do feel it is missing in some key areas that make it hard to give a perfect score. First, I do feel the online aspect of the Wii is very weak. The setup makes it near impossible to find friends online and communicate with them. Very few games sopport voice chat.Second, because of the popularity of the system there is a TON of shovelware. Shovelware is (as the name imples) garbage software that gets shoveled onto the system so the developers can make a quick buck off the popularity of the Wii. Generally, I would say stick to first party titles if you want to be safe but even some of these aren't worth getting. Games like Wii music are terrible. Do your reseach and you wii be fine. Finally, even though the library is impressive, there are some holes in there. You will be hard pressed to find ambitions RPG's or M rated action games. Following these steps will permanently sync the bluetooth of a new controller to a Nintendo Wii console system.

In helping people setup their Wii, I have experienced this question a lot. Getting the new controller (which many people refer to as a “remote”) to sync correctly can be difficult. If you follow these steps, you should have no difficulties.
1. Turn on your Wii and let it finish booting up.
2. Take off the battery cover off the new controller.
3. Press the sync button on the new controller. All the blue leds will light up and blink.
4. Press the sync button under the SD card slot on the wii console.
5. The blue leds on the controller will stop blinking when you are done.

You must follow these steps for each individual new controller you sync with your Nintendo Wii system. If these steps fail, you can try these additional recommendations. Occasionally, a Wii controller with weak batteries will not sync correctly. If you are having a difficult time with syncing, try loading the remote with fresh batteries first. Sometimes, the Wii console is not responding appropriately. Remove the power cord for a 20-30 seconds and then reboot the Wii before trying to sync the controller again.
There is a myth about having to hold the sync button for 15 seconds. This is not true and is not required.

In the description it states the unit comes with a 1GB SD card. I just received mine and no SD card was included. :( This is important to me since I was wanting to immediate put homebrew on the unit but will have to wait until the SD card comes in.

Received these cables, they work but I only get Black & White picture on TV.. Learned a lesson about being cheap when buying a component cable. Reminder to self and everyone else Cheaper is not always better or the same.. Moral of story, I got what I paid for junk, will now spend more for actual Nintendo cables. These cables would be ok if you were color blind, or had a black and white TV.

I got the remote and nuchucks in a very timely manner which was awesome. It works well I gave 3 stars bc I found /find it hard to sync with the Wii and seems to drain the battery quickly. I am going to buy a new one but this will do, I plan on getting a "cute" one for my daughter. I saw one with the princesses on it so she would love it. She likes having a dedicated contrroller.

The controller does not work well! Our other controllers we bought work just fine so it is not my system. The controller works one second and then the batteries die. I put new batteries in and it works but the next time I use it they are dead again. I put those batteries in other devices and it works fine, so it is not the batteries.

Official Nintendo products are always better built than knock offs. If you are going to buy a controller for your system. This authentic controller from Nintendo is definitely worth the extra cost over cheaper ones. (I bought low cost ones in the past and they wear out quickly, but not this one. This ones great!)

These were bootleg products that did not work at all. Poorly packaged, I knew as soon as I saw these that I was in trouble. Not alot of money invested but I had a disappointed kid on my hands.

Great OEM product. I just stick to the real stuff and never have an issue. I'm sure you can get an aftermarket version that works fine, but I've read too many negative reviews of problems that I won't take the risk. Very satisified with this.

My husband and son love to play this game together. I love that it isn't too violent for my little one like most games are. So many games are just fighting. This game is a lot of strategy and figuring out what to do next with some fighting mixed in. A great combination. It is hard enough that my husband has had to look online for help a few times. I do wish it had the option to save more often. The saves are few and far between so don't expect to just play for a few minutes. Great game. We plan on buying the first Lego Batman one since this one is so great.

IT HAS NOT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AS THE BOYS GOT TABLETS FOR CHRISTMAS FROM US AND THEY SEEM TO BE ON THOSE MORE RIGHT NOW. I THINK IN SUMMER TIME WHEN THEY ARE IN AND OUT OF HOUSE, THEY WILL BE PLAYING IT MORE. IT WORKS PERFECTLY. JUST HARD FOR ME TO RATE IT AT THIS TIME.

I did not like these cable. It made the picture quality worse than the oem cables for me, unlike other reviewers. I was really excited because of all the great reviews but was very disappointed when I tried them. These would make an okay backup though (hence the two stars).

The remote synced immediately and had no issues for the first day or so. After that, the remote keeps turning off and acting extremely flaky. I'm hoping it stops, but most likely I will end up footing the bill for a Nintendo one.

This item is ok if you can't spend money on the real deal. It works but there is a slight delay from it compared to the others. im ok with the item. It does what it has to. Probably won't get this kind again but it will do

Works great, included batteries which is nice and I like the color options they have. Typical Nintendo product, better the the after market items but you pay a bit more.
