I liked the ease of using my old one and it took great pictures and the new one has been even better

I wanted something newer and a little sleeker than my old camera and this was perfect. I love the touchscreen capabilities and the zoom is great! I've only taken inside pictures so far, but I can already tell outside pictures are going to be phenomenal! I noticed what a few other reviewers said about inside pics not being great, but I think they are actually pretty good, you just have to be patient. Like others have said, if you want something that takes perfect indoor pictures you have to shell out quite a bit more money. I'm happy with my little camera!

Compact, easy to use, and takes great pics. Easy to carry anywhere, and hardly notice it. My other camera will collect dust now lol.

Great deal. Used discounts, coupons and promos and got camera for just about half of the Walmart price. Very satisfied.

First Nikon product. Replaced older Canon models (A530, A580).
Quite a lot of features (technology keeps changing). Have not yet tried all the features but very happy with the pictures taken so far. Video quality is also very good (better than the Canon models we had).
Good thing is it has rechargeable batteries (no need to take AA batteries), the batteries do last longer than AA (though there are those Li Energizer batteries that do last long).
Like this camera so far for simple photography (not a professional photographer).

I would not mind having one myself for a pocket camera. Lugging the T3i around is always a worry. Though I love my T3i, I always afraid of it getting stolen if I leave it in the car etc. And its not there when that picture you could have took pops up! No complaints on the pictures from the Nikon so far.

I love this camera!! takes beautiful pictures, i took it with me to new mexico and we went in Carlsbad caverns and I got better pictures than anyone else. So clear!!

This is a replacement camers for one that was lost on vacation. I ordered the same one again because it's easy to use, takes great photos and video, fits well into your pocket or purse, has many esasy to use functions for non professionals like myself. we now own two of these cameras...one for my husband and one for myself.

I was looking for a camera that had a quick sutter speed, small and sleek, and touch screen. I was very impressed with the camera--at first. It arrived promptly. My only complaint is that I will never return to a re-chargerable battery camera again. It's very inconvenient. I prefer AA or AAA battery cameras instead. The camera functions fine, but my mistake was not researching what type of battery this camera took. If this camera was battery operatored (AA), it would be perfect. Would I order another one? No. I still recommend it. It got 3 stars because of my own preferences.

Camera shoots out of focus alot and selecting shooting modes can be difficult and complicated. But for the price, it is a god deal.

Picture quality is great. A variety of options and extrremely long battery life. The onscreenmenu's could be easier to understand. The manual that is on disc is very thorough though. Fairly easy to use, compact and even takes pretty good video.

Bought this for use when snowmobiling or other outdoor sports to not risk my best equipment. Great value for the price, does what I needed it to do.

Easy to use. Great quality with multple settings. Make sure you order memory card and case. Fits in shirt or pants pockwts.

i got this camera as a birthday present from my mom when we went to figure out what camera i wanted we were in Walmart little did i know it was touch screen! when i got home and found out it was i was super excited! everything is easy to use! and in all my experiences of cameras this is the best! it takes amazing pictures! i absolutely love it!! and i have even dropped it a couple of times and it has been outside in freezing cold while i took pictures and even a little water and it still held up! i highly recommend this camera!! i have no problem with this camera at all!

I received the camera with all noted accessories without any problems. The dvd gives alot of instructions because this little camera has alot of bells and whistles. The pictures are great! Quite an upgrade from my 5 yr old Kodak that gave out.

The battery that comes with this camera is horrible. I was able to eek out four months of use before it stopped charging. I bought a third party battery and haven't had any issues.

Nice little camera that plays its role well. My wife wanted a point and shoot that she could drop in her purse and not worry too much about. Pictures are what you would expect from a camera of this class...nothing earth shattering but due to its size, its always there for her and allows her to get pictures she would have otherwise missed. It's a solid performer that appeared to be well built.

It's slim, with lots of features. The zoom works very well, and the 16 MP gives great detail. It took a little while to get used to not touching the screen with the camera on (it takes a picture), but, in the right situation, that's a nice feature.
Battery life is a little shorter than I'd like, though.

This is the second nikon coolpix s4300 that I have purchased in the past 6 months (only bc my daughter dropped my last one). I bought this one because my sister had bought one just a few weeks before the first one I bought. I absolutely love the touch screen and the pictures turn out pretty crisp. There is some lag time with shutter between pics, but that is with almost any point and shoot. All in all it is a great camera, I also love the color editing option, very cool :)
